1161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: May 31, 2017, 04:15:05 PM
Many friends whom I tried to introduce it once ar now seeking information, even many relatives and family members are discussing about it.
The recent event and media coverage made all this people inquire about it. Also the rise and catchy lines in the social media are also the cause to create desire to know about it.
1162  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: May 31, 2017, 09:16:01 AM
Seeing the growth rates of previous years, holding a Bitcoin is a real great way to make money. Holding them for 3 to 4 years can increase your principal amount many times.

People always use the past to refer to the future. What if I told you that the past isn't always going to repeat itself in contrary to the saying "History repeats itself"? 3 to 4 years is a long time on the Internet. Technology grows fast. Maybe before 3-4 years, we already have a lightning network but it's implemented on a different coin. That will cause chaos to bitcoins since everyone will surely migrate to that coin. It's a good thing to the cryptocurrencies as a whole since the transaction fee and time will be resolved but it's chaos to bitcoins unless it's able to adopt the technology almost right away.

Absolutely its possible to see a new coin, but what if the new technology and fast transaction is implemented with Bitcoin. Can you imagine what a chaos can appear and how high the value is going to hit. But no one knows or is sure this is gonna happen or not, so currently one has to go with what is best in market at the very right moment.

But ya I agree that judging cryptocurrencies with past records won't help, it can indicate the potential, but it can never guarantee somebody the same rise.
1163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: May 30, 2017, 07:09:20 PM
India defeating Bangladesh by 240 runs was a total shock in a recent cricket history. India no doubt played really well, but don't know why but it felt Bangladesh played casually. But if both the teams played seriously and this is the result, I am hoping to see some great games from Indian Cricket Team Smiley
1164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japanese Airlines to accept bitcoins soon on: May 30, 2017, 04:08:16 PM
If Bitcoin really gets accepted for Flight booking, it will give a great push to its trust, which will effect the value.
Hope to see some countries and other airline companies accepting Bitcoins as well, if and after Japan Airlines start the process. Really looking forward to that day  Grin
1165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: May 28, 2017, 07:36:39 PM
Cash is better in terms of global acceptance same with credit cards however, we have no assurance that cash would be able to hold on for long or would it flop down seeing that there is an impending economic crash yet again. Cash is king as of this moment, but for how long?

Cash will be prevailing in the economy, particularly in some Under developed countries and even in some developing countries. New generation might adopt cashless/bitcoin transaction, but the semi backward and backward citizens would still believe in cash. And in the current scenario, in a small transaction, using cash is much better option as its fast and hassle free.
1166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: May 28, 2017, 07:21:00 PM
Experience does matter quite a few times, as Gambling in Poker, a player who is experienced has a positive effect upon the game. Experiencing anything refers to gaining knowledge about it or understanding it better, so it helps a gambler.
But many times, experience might fail in front of the players luck.
1167  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Sell on: May 28, 2017, 06:55:37 PM
Yesterday I saw how bitcoin began to rapidly decline. After some hesitation, I decided to sell all my money to invest in a serious company. And I sold it. Now I understand what I did right.
I think your decision is not too good and you are not a real investor who are doing panic selling. Bitcoin now are start to climb its value again and it has a strong life in the future. Holding of more bitcoin make you rich or richer in the future you need to have dream in this coin to have strong faith with bitcoin.

True, it might have fallen but it will surely rise, and it will be quite faster. If he sold for his needs, its OK, but he didn't then he might be thinking about it later in the very near future, because the valuation is going to increase.
1168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hotels accepting bitcoin on: May 28, 2017, 06:35:54 PM
Acceptance of Bitcoin will grow and spread to various sectors and businesses. Even Japan will be having Hotels and Restaurant now, who will be accepting Bitcoins. Basically this will kind off give a boom to tourism industry upto some extent.
1169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: May 27, 2017, 06:42:17 PM
I'm looking forward to try to pick winning bet for today Copa del Rey final:

Barcelona vs Alaves => Total over 3.5 goals

As barcelona have been making lot of goals against their weak opponent but then also they have always conceded the goal so both team to score goal is also good bet.

Both teams might score goals, but its pretty clear that Barcelona have higher chances, more than higher chances actually. I will go for Barcelona and I think even if both the teams scores, Goal difference will be 2-3 goals against Alaves.
1170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RANSOMWARE impact on: May 27, 2017, 06:18:08 PM
The recent Ransomware attack has caused a lot of problems and people not knowing about bitcoin are facing problems like how to buy bitcoin, what it is ,its worth etc.Since the ransomware attack has spread to more than 50 countries its causing the bitcoin's value rise. Eventually this  may lead to either fall of bitcoin or lead bitcoin as the future currency

Ransomware attack is not the accurate and single reason for the rise in value. And Ransomware has caused lots of issues recently to all kind of private and public organizations, but it also had let many people know about Bitcoins. Some are interested to know more about it, whereas some are thinking it as crime related, and not at all interested.
But, in my opinion, Bitcoin will not fall for this reason, for sure.
1171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: May 27, 2017, 05:08:51 PM
Doubt it will too much. Altcoins are unstable. Unless it has real merit / another purpose besides bitcoin (see Etherium) and is stable then I imagine most will stick with BTC.

Actually people will prefer Bitcoin all the time, Bitcoin is accepted by people whoever is indulged with Cryptocurrency, whereas the about Alts, it varies from people to people. It will only have a chance if the alt is considered and accepted similarly as Bitcoin.
Many altcoins have chances, but still I think it will be competition for Bitcoin.
1172  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: May 26, 2017, 06:18:21 PM
^ Most idiotic comment ever

Why would anyone hold stuff which will fall?Huh?

I diasagree. He means the falling is a temporary thing, so why to sell at low price and thus making it to drop even more? Remember 2014 when people who bought at $1,200 were panic selling at $800. They should have hold their coins and now they would be in profit.

Actually selling always doesn't affects the price/value of BTC, there are many other factors responsible as well.
And, Basically new users haven't fully understood the potential of Bitcoins, which makes them fall in fear which results in selling of their Bitcoins.
1173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 25, 2017, 05:58:23 PM
I think. Liverpool will win the English premier league next season. Klopp has a good young team, they're playing so unitedly. They are lucky for getting a cool and encouraging boss. Hopefully next season will be for them.
Liverpool has showing increase performance this season and the latest proof that they able to became top 4 again but to became the champion of EPL it took more process because there are several good teams with good strength too on this league however let's see their performance next season

Yea agree, the liverpool appearance in the next season is quite interesting to look forward to, I think liverpool deserves to be the EPL champion candidate next season, seeing they have young players and qualified coaches, but I do not know yet about the latest player transfer that will happen in the EPL.

I see no chance of how Liverpool is going to win the league they barely made the top four and now that they will be playing in the champions league,it's going to be even worse. Fatigue will set in. Juggling the two alongside other competition's makes it much harder.

That's what I've been saying over and over and it falls on deaf ears.  Klopp's style is very high intensity.

Surprisingly, it didn't happen to Chelsea.  They've been starting the same 11 players week in and week out.

It would be hard for Chelsea when they start playing in the champions league next season, you can't be Fielding the same players every week and not expect fatigue.

Absolutely it will turn out tough, unless they get a good tactic in effect. I hope they will be doing the right thing in the next season of both the games. But if the players get fatigued, it will be tough to see good performances, be it any team.
1174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: May 25, 2017, 04:52:00 PM
Yesterday there was another match between Bangladesh and NZ. Surprisingly Bangladesh was won by 5 wickets. Recently Bangladesh has become quite strong and they managed to quick out WI team from the ICC champions trophy.

This was Bangladesh's first away victory against New Zealand. Their previous victories against New Zealand have come on slow turners in Bangladesh. People expected Bangladesh to struggle, but they managed to win quite comfortably.

Will this make some changes in their spirit while playing the Champions trophy matches when the best team like India, Oz and SA will come with thier best team . Let's hope they continue this winning momentum .

Bangladesh has improved their game recently, but still they are lagging behind in few aspect of their gameplay. Moreover they are not consistent on their performance. Though they are capable of winning, but they are very unpredictable.
1175  Economy / Speculation / Re: What price would you stop buying Bitcoin? on: May 25, 2017, 05:51:05 AM
It seems I will not stop buying bitcoins at any price because if we sell them it's profitable given the higher bitcoin price is like a digital investment, Although be careful and smart manage when to sell and buy, we don't know how long the price will continue to rise.
It does not really matter why the price of Bitcoin increases because I kind of just spend the coins right when I receive it. I don’t like to speculate so much on the price because the rate of it could change in an instant and the price of Bitcoin could get lower that what 97% of the people guess it would be.
Bitcoin is just a money transfer system that allows me to purchase things that I want/need on the Internet.
Good for you but don't you realize that you are wasting the opportunity of earning a lot of money in the future? If you see the price of bitcoin now compare to the price in the past, you will actually see a huge increase in the price and that is what you didn't grabbed, you just buy and spend while you can buy and hold that can help you in the long run.

Your point is 100% right, but its only if you want Bitcoin as an investment option. But don't forget that it is a transaction medium as well, which is hassle free and not restricted at the moment by any means. SO its upto the individual if he or she wants to just transact or grow his money.
And if anyone is thinking to hold, even now its a great time, I believe it will go further in the coming month. If someone is thinking to stop buying or acquiring Bitcoins by judging the price then Bitcoin is not a suitable option for them.
1176  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have about 50$ where to invest ? on: May 25, 2017, 05:05:46 AM
Hello;

I'm new in bitcoin and like to start investing on it .. I have about 50$ and want a good company to invest on it ..

I made some searches but don't know where to start ..

Can anyone help me ?!

Thanks alot
It's better to invest it in altcoins which price is not more than 10k satsohi so that there probability of your coins you're holding to pump is higher as it has a potential to exceed very well same as altcoin that has a higher price.
Yeah investing in altcoin is less risky rather than investing it in site that might turn out scam. $50 is not big capital to start with however its not bad for beginner. just be careful in choosing what altcoin you would like to invest, choose the one that has potential.

While investing with Bitcoins, even $50 is good for newbie or beginners. But obviously even if it has a positive move, the profit margin will be too low. On altcoins, the profit might be higher, but only if you get your money on some good alts. For a rookie, its better to first learn the movements of the users and also the market, before investing in any alts other than few rising alts.
1177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: May 24, 2017, 07:08:13 PM
England vs. South Africa 1st ODI match, Eng batted first and made good score 339 runs with the loss of 6 wickets. Captain Morgan made a century and well support from Moeen Ali scored 77 runs. The target is good SA started his batting and lost 1 wicket now the score is 56/1. They need 284 runs from 41 overs. SA got good batting lineup I think it is the chasble score.

South Africa is playing steadily and in a balanced manner. Its still only two wicket with 149 runs, in 25 Overs. It seems SA has higher chance only if they continue to keep this run rate, but the bowling of England is also quite good, and turn quite dangerous sometimes, so still both have fair chances I believe.
1178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know if a gambling site is scam or not? on: May 24, 2017, 06:38:35 PM
You will know the gambling site if scam once you deposit and you cant withdraw your money anymore. Also, the site attracts users and promising good. Because in gambling its always luck and just play on what you can afford to lose.
This is mainstream then much better if we review the feedback of the website before we deposit our money right? And if you even don't care just to see their ads that they promise you a good comeback of money then they already fooled you with there niche. Yes gambling is all about luck and always play money you can afford to lose but doesn't mean all website are scam already all website can be scam by the end of the day depends on the developer or the ceo of the webiste.

Yep...I agree with you! It's better to read most of the review about such site before we decided to deposit at gambling site. We should not be blinded by lucrative promises without checking the truth first. And the best thing is, this forum will be enough to get the information we need.
If we are to be frank, I generally think that all gambling is a kind of fraud on the part of their creators and leadership. I think that players do not win as much as pro play their entire fortune.

Not all are fraud, until they are not paying anymore. Obviously users/players are not winning all the time and it has to be, because creators had to earn money to continue it.
About how to track if the site is scam or not, you just have research about the sites status and also about the owner. If the owner has some negative past, its better to avoid. Also as mentioned all over the internet, believing something which is too good to be true is highly perilous.
1179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: i have a heck of a good feeling on: May 24, 2017, 05:56:47 PM
With a rise this far, mostly everybody will be feeling good and more optimistic about it. After this, I feel/hope it will rise more Grin

@OP, Everybody is amazed to see Bitcoin this high, but being too much optimistic is nearly unrealistic.
$100K for 1 BTC, I don't think so it will be possible, though nothings impossible. But Economy and Technology is changing every second, so it will be kind of unrealistic what you stated.
1180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: May 24, 2017, 05:25:17 PM
This year 2017 is a new start for bitcoin. Were only in the middle of the year but a lot things happen to it, everyweek theres a great news that is why the price skyrocket. Before we enter 2017 the price is at 900$, now 2300$ and by december 3500$.

And sometimes it is just days and another news comes in that it broke a four digit dollar mark again.
This is really getting intense and also scary on my part. I have this thinking of what if it suddenly fall.
People might get frustrated or worse, they will panic then suddenly sold their coins and wont come back.
That will be a big hit and it will be hard to go back from that.

Bitcoin is showing some great direction and I think it will continue. But obviously there will be fear of sudden fall, but I hope it wont be a great fall.
Panic selling is kind off getting reduced I believe, but as new user will join it will prevail.
Hoping to see some more positive movements of Bitcoin
