Other way around. Rockminer holds shares of AM.

And you are wrong about making no profit. If AM sells 1600PH with a profit of $0.5/GH that would mean 1,600,000 BTC or 4 btc per share.

Do you think that chips are growing on trees? No expenses for creating them? Its about margin now.

Rockminer doesn't own shares, only Rockxie is sitting on 2 chairs and as boardmember and personal friend with our CEO he can negotiate great discounts for chips from AM, also rights for 1st batches and fuck over all ASICminer shareholders.

I'm still interested to know if FC still has a solomining goal of 10% ...

When I was investing into this company ~ 1 year ago, it was publicly known that ASICminer's goal is to maintain at least 10% of global hashrate, so i did some calculations and bought shares. I was investing into mining company which goal was to mine bitcoins. I was not investing into chip manufacture which will be selling chips for fiat after one year. But yeah ... I am now in huge 75% loss, no point of selling now. I feel quite fucked by ASICminer.

What i dont understand is... how is it possible to trash all the IPO-Money? I dont see what big investments had to be done.

One friend of mine has interesting point of view on this. I questioned : How is possible to spend so many millions in one month without any result?

he answered : You know, it doesn't need to be actually spend, it could be effectively laundered away. Easy with Bitcoin.

Wow TradeFortress here? I was thinking that you are in jail ...
185  Economy / Securities / Re: NEO and BEE talk (unmoderated) on: April 02, 2014, 02:04:41 PM
I read every single post in NEOBEE thread from the start of this fiasco and I never saw any "threat to his family", sounds bullshit to me, can anyone quote that "threat" please ? Grin btw gross irresponsible incompetence here, another Karpeles  Roll Eyes he's running away with your money and covering with bullshit excuses ... I am very very curious if somebody will be able to raise any capital via IPO offering in "bitcoin securities market" after this.

AM price is for chips, not miners.
I know. again :
http://bitmine.ch/?product=coincraft-ai-asic
price for chips 2.8$ - 3.5$Gh  ... AM 0.49$ - 0.99$
188  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: April 01, 2014, 08:31:28 PM
Isn't that assuming $1/Ghs remains attractive?  With a lower exchange rate, the fiat reward for mining becomes less (because those 25BTC blocks are worth less), and so hardware becomes relatively cheaper on the market..

It just seems like it somehow balances out in the end, so BTC price doesn't even matter..

nope. competition is selling ~$3/Gh disconnected from the exchange rate, could be 1000 or 500, doesn't matter for chip sellers(it seems like doesn't matter, risk is always on miner side, they are betting for higher exchange rate in future)

... ASICminer is selling for $1/Gh, i don't know why so horrible cheap, but i am not a boss and all I can do as a shareholder is to write my opinion here and hope that somebody from competent people will be at least thinking about it ...
189  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: April 01, 2014, 08:14:46 PM
I have a hard time understanding why a low BTC price is a good thing for you guys right now.  Please explain?

With 479 BTC/USD exchange rate we're looking at 0.01 - 0.1 dividend per share only from batch 1 (if everything is sold for 0.99$/Gh)

so if you don't need or plan convert dividends to fiat, but you want to HODL, or reinvest, its good.
190  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: April 01, 2014, 02:40:58 PM
Well, this week i predict  0.00000000 BTC divs.

So if I understand current situation, and where we are in the cycle, sample chips were shipped to the many clients/manufacturers last week or yesterday. And also ASICminer is testing them. Questions are : Were the sample chips sent out for free?(Wasp, did you pay anything for samples? If yes, what was the price per Gh?). And meanwhile if AM is testing/hashing with them, where are they mining?
191  Economy / Services / Looking for someone from Secaucus , NJ on: April 01, 2014, 08:20:34 AM
Hello,

I am looking for someone from Secaucus, NJ, maybe for long term cooperation. If you are from Secaucus and want to make some side BTC let me know.

Thanks
192  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: March 31, 2014, 11:19:06 AM
Little speculation here  Smiley

Is Chinese mining mafia pushing the price of Bitcoin down via fake trades(+fake volume) on their exchanges? Possible reason : upcoming payments for chips? If the exchange rate is low, they'll get more BTC Wink And if they don't plan to convert them asap, its win situation(maybe).

On a more serious note :
What is the size of 1st batch of gen3 ? In December Friedcat mentioned 2-20P possible for first batch. Curious about an actual number, its big difference to get 2M$ or 20M$ for this batch. Also I am interested what will be the time period between batches. And if the order size of next batches will be released for shareholders up-front, or we'll only see the movements in AM address and we can guess how many P were sold and for what price? If they plan to sell them for fiat, how can we audit them if they're including every sell? its about a trust? Jutarul mentioned some audit in past, maybe for better transparency after failed gen2, I wonder where we're on that front.

yes, I suggest new round of shareholders questions for Friedcat 1-2 weeks after the 1st batch madness (what do you think friendly pumpkin? Smiley are you going to take initiative? )
Yeah, sure! So go ahead everyone and tell me what you'd like to know, I'll collect those questions and forward them after we agreed on them!
thanks, after 1st batch  Wink

Bonam, I know, I was talking about chips

like Coincraft A1
http://bitmine.ch/?product=coincraft-ai-asic

I see. Well, looks like they are doing $2.8 USD/GH for large quantities.

$2.8 USD/GH vs $0.49 USD/GH is discount more than 500% ... unacceptable for ready-to-ship product

EDIT : yes I know, that max discount could be 100%, but I don't know how to say it in english that price is five-fold lower, but you get it

It wouldn't be so bad if we got more than boiler room updates on how the ASIC was progressing. Fundamental to the equation but information regarding the business strategy with the recent rockminer development is thin at best.

yes, I suggest new round of shareholders questions for Friedcat 1-2 weeks after the 1st batch madness (what do you think friendly pumpkin? Smiley are you going to take initiative? )

and about that 0.49$-0.99$/Ghs pricing strategy ... ASICminer should really re-evaluate this after testing gen3. The selling price should be 10-20% under the competition, but not 500% ! Also we'll have product in hand, no pre-orders BS. Its insane pricing, its like tunneling a company in prime time LIVE. Shareholders are watching. I don't want to see, that ASICminer is selling chips 500% under current market price to Chinese mining mafia friends  Tongue

Well when Mr Brewster is no longer in Cyprus and does not return  you can thank me. My information comes from a very good source. Factual information. Ignore if you like that is ok, my money is not invested. But I know that they are leaving along with his partner cars and their belongings. Returning? Who know but previous track record of his companies and knowledge of him coming to Cyprus with hardly any money makes it highly likely that this is possible that this will be marked down as another fail on his part. Hard to believe that before he hit it big he work on the door as security? ?? Now doing this.

I am following this thread only for entertainment purposes now and with peace in mind looking at my BTCs in cold storage, but if this runaway accusation is not true, you know that you're a dick Grin But thanks for entertainment, *eating popcorn* Grin

Don't know if there'll be much in the way of expenses, my understanding is FC retained funds for this, but happy to stand corrected.

You know, there must be expenses for the next batch. Which will be massive. I hope and believe™
