421  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: November 20, 2013, 08:05:55 AM
That reminds me its been a while since we have done a Shareholder FAQ
We should pile up some questions to send to Friedcat

+1

Question number 1 :

What is the progress in developing next gen chip?

Question number 2 :

Why is so hard to communicate with shareholders?
422  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: November 19, 2013, 09:31:45 PM
Just wait, TAT will eventually respond to you, since he is also co-founder of NEOBEE and now is Senate Banking Subcommittee hearing on virtual currencies LIVE right now on C-SPAN3, maybe hes watching.

My question on TAT is, if the board had some meetings in last 6weeks and why aren't they sharing some info from board meetings with other shareholders?

"1. The board has committed to meeting even more often than we have been, and intentionally gleaning whatever info can be shared from each meeting, and posting it to public."

Danny, can we get some estimated date for financial report release please? Sorry I am tired of the word "soon" all over the place in bitcoin securities market. I really hope that you'll rise standards in this environment.

EDIT : BTW Senate Banking Subcommittee hearing on virtual currencies LIVE right now on C-SPAN3

aren't the dividends due already?
Nope, 10 to 20 hours to wait, still. Smiley

Its Tuesday ! Dividends are/and always were on Wednesday (UTC) .

Havelock is having an IPO, they are valuing themselves at 6,250 btc.  Seems interesting and thought people here may be interested in knowing about it.

https://www.havelockinvestments.com/fund.php?symbol=HIF

They're valuating themselves for 6250 BTC so 4 300 000 $ ...  Grin  Grin  Grin ... is this for real or bad joke ? ... who the hell will be participating in this IPO now, when we're awaiting decentralized stock exchanges like blockchain based from AM, colored coins and mastercoin soon ? Also their only income is from trading fees. It seems to me like one dishonest action for last chance of taking even more BTC from bitcoin securities market investors, we were witnessing a lot of BS, scams and disappointments in past months, please don't ...

And friendly reminder : This is AM thread.

Will we get official update from Friedcat soon? Its almost 20th.

FC in the interview announced that he plans to have gen3 28nm chips by feb if I remember correctly and gen2 40nm will come before that. All of which will be used for both sales and solo immserion cooled mining.

That would be a plan I like to see happening. Do you've got a link to the interview/report??? I think I've missed that, sounds like a good read Smiley

Where have you been?  Smiley unless you know Chinese ...

http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XNjI1OTIxMTc2.html

A brief translation is as below:

1. Franchising: Only board members are allowed to become franchised partners. Their AM stocks are sent to FC as collateral in exchange for the ASIC devices. The devices are deployed by partners and 80% of the revenue generated by those devices is owned by FC.

2. FC has access to lower electricity cost which would be a big advantage compared to competitors outside China.

3. The estimated network hashrate of 1000p in 2014 is from a pessimistic point of view. Although it may not reach that level of hashrate by the end of 2014, FC would take it as a possible result and get well-prepared for it.

4. The immersion technique FC invented is a break-through compared to traditional one. This new technique would be of great help to the deployment of the new Gen chips.

5. FC didn't sell his AM stocks at the peak of its price. When asked in the interview why he didn't cash out, he responded that if he sold out the shares, people who bought them would make him work for them. He would like to only work for himself.

I am on the same boat like you guys, very great points above. I am reinvesting dividends all way down 2.7 , 2.5 , 1.7 , 1.0 , 0.56 , 0.57 ... right now my future life is in Friedcat's hands.

I believed in him and in ASICminer so like 6 or 7 months ago I invested 80% from my BTC into ASICminer, fuck fiat, I was never planning cashout BTC into fiat anyway. Dividends was the only way how to steady increase BTC position in long term.

Only true believers in BTC and in Friedcat will stay on the boat after this period, so I am not surprised that your opinions are similar to mine, who else should be on the boat right now if not us?

Btw I don't think that Friedcat was hard working on "bringing AM into another level" , payment system, exchange, great hi-end immersion cooling stuff and container design without strong believe that he'll be able hold significant percentage of the network in near future. Also a lot of groups successfully developed <130nm chip, so this should not be a problem for someone like Friedcat.

About how many shares are on havelock?

Units Outstanding   12256 (AM1) + 3527 (from AM100)

PR & Communications
1. The board has committed to meeting even more often than we have been, and intentionally gleaning whatever info can be shared from each meeting, and posting it to public.
2. The board will be assisting with writing these posts to make things easier for Friedcat.
3. The board is in discussions to create content and designs for an official website.

Boardmembers, share something !
429  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: November 17, 2013, 08:23:23 PM
this one reason why the share price tanked....

... and because we the shareholders don't have an update for alarming 6weeks, and we don't have a clue whats happening with this company and Friedcat.
430  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER Speculation Thread on: November 17, 2013, 01:48:24 PM
So guys, what is your estimated time of arrival for internal deployment and why?

End of the year? January?

How are things going regarding your business plan? Did you account for the sudden network hashrate increase? How is the international expansion of ASICminer coming along?
The business plan is unchanged. The network hashrate increase was still under our projection. The total hash target originally set for the end of this year would probably achieved earlier.

Do you think that FC is going to use Gen1 with "container design"? Now we have working immersion cooling, containers and gen1 chips, so why is AM waiting again?
431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mike Hearn, Foundation's Law & Policy Chair, is pushing blacklists right now on: November 15, 2013, 09:08:28 PM
I am amazed that The Foundation is even discussing this kind of topic with USA regulators. Bitcoin is worldwide currency, not US currency !
432  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: November 15, 2013, 08:49:25 PM
How should a coin based exchange work faster without being risky? Its a solution to be independent. For users that want to own or sell shares, not high frequenzy trading. But its an advantage to have it.

I think that this is created only for direct shares transfers between shareholders of ASICminer. It hasn't any other reasonable usage in my eyes. ASICminer wants to free themselves from nonstop updating some internal spreadsheet, from responsibility for transfers and from spamming Friedcat's PM inbox regarding share transfers. And also "automated payment system" for dividends will be working with this.

But we're talking about multimillion company here, so just hire one trustable person for handling that should solve this issues the same way.

... and this is how the first war in Bitcoin started ... foundation vs bitcoin community  Lips sealed
434  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: November 15, 2013, 07:53:31 AM
lol, another baseless friedcat accusation (I have to start keeping count). Friedcat has proven to be honest time and time again.

hmmm why baseless? You can see photos and blocks found yourself... hope i am wrong, and idk if the last 6 months could be marked as "honest".
435  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: November 15, 2013, 07:01:54 AM
For who is mining immersion cooled data center ? Or AM is not signing blocks from there ? Why ? We're still at 1-3 blocks per day, which is hashing power from air cooled data center only ...

http://www.datacenterknowledge.com/archives/2013/11/13/3m-immersion-cooling/

http://www.allied-control.com/immersion-2

Seems like that rows are "fully populated" and running to me...

EDIT :

I'm worrying about this(between the lines) :

Quote
When asked in the interview why he didn't cash out, he responded that if he sold out the shares, people who bought them would make him work for them. He would like to only work for himself.
436  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER Speculation Thread on: November 14, 2013, 04:39:29 PM
Zero fees from AM, but you still have to pay the BTClockchain transaction fee.

Yes, so zero profit for company. So why is the mining company investing resources, time, people, focus on something like this, if we don't have competitive hashing chips ... i really don't get it.

EDIT : Also :
Upcoming scheduled to be happening (in time order):

Imminent repricing according to the market and the quantity.  LEAK (Cube)
Immersion cooling exhibition. LEAK
Blockchain-based exchange out of pre-alpha LEAK

Great PR !
437  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER Speculation Thread on: November 14, 2013, 03:40:49 PM
Thanks for sharing, it appears there are several things on the horizon.

Yes, "in two weeks" ... meanwhile we're still hashing under 10% of network for more than 3months, still under 100Th ... without knowing, where are hashing that "fully populated rows" from photos, without updates about chip development progress and without communicating at all.

Btw on that very important blockchain based exchange will be zero fees, if I read it correctly.
438  Economy / Securities / Re: [IPVO] [Multiple Exchanges] Neo & Bee - LMB Holdings on: November 12, 2013, 03:46:56 PM
I guess: Unsold shares would just be part of the company. So their dividend would just be paid out to Neo & Bee.

Nope. Unsold shares doesn't exist.
439  Economy / Securities / Re: [IPVO] [Multiple Exchanges] Neo & Bee - LMB Holdings on: November 12, 2013, 02:58:56 PM
The unsold shares will remain for sale, this was made clear at the start.

Oh ... so you just want to prolong IPVO period to infinity, even if NEOBEE doesn't need another capital. So what was the purpose of the date 30th November from the start ?
440  Economy / Securities / Re: [IPVO] [Multiple Exchanges] Neo & Bee - LMB Holdings on: November 11, 2013, 06:57:58 PM
I have a question regarding the share-handling fee, sorry in case I overlooked the answer:

What happens if Havelock shuts down and shareholders are forced to move their shares to direct shares (or whatever other solution might have popped up by then) - Will you then charge a handling fee or will this also be a free migration?

In this case I'm sure there will be "free migration period without fee" like always was. Don't worry about that.
