I read the bitcoin price is rocketing because of the Hard fork called bitcoin gold and you can get as much bitcoin gold as you have bitcoin. Gulden has to suffer another 10 days before bitcoin dumps , not sure if traders will dump before the fork or after the fork.

Yeah, but that effect is also wearing off again (people who think to profit from this already bought in, and have few funds left). Those people expect that Bitcoin Gold will react the same as Bitcoin Cash, but I don't believe that. Bitcoin Cash has some credit that it solved a problem with Bitcoin. Bitcoin Gold is just a quick money grab attempt, if you're quick enough you can profit from it, but many will loose money with it.

Yes, savvy traders will dump bitcoin before the fork because bitcoin gold will not be another bitcoin cash. Traders still have until next week to pick up cheap Gulden SO PLEASE don't pump the price , there is traders that will sell Gulden at any amount to hold bitcoin before the fork.

Will we get one more Gulden dump before the bitcoin Hard Fork? Would like to get some more long term purchases below 1700 sats

Bitcoin price should peak sometime this week as we are 8 days from the Bitcoin Gold hardfork, if you are planning to get back into Gulden you still have a few more days.
Advice is to buy bitcoin now, put a low buy order between 1400 and 1600 and wait for a desperate trader to dump when bitcoin goes over $6000. There will also be a window of about 1hr where Gulden will drop to $7 when bitcoin is dumped and Gulden price has not reacted.

It's playing out exactly how I thought it would. Very predictable. The btc dump will be hard.

Next 2 days will be a good buy, traders will be on the sidelines with btc expecting 1 more rally before the Bitcoin Gold HF. Gulden price will remain around these levels until the trend is established.

who is still investing in Gulden?
how tight is it connected with BTC?
BTC is growing all the week long...

No rich investors but the development team is definitely top 5.

Gulden is currently at the stage after Dark became Dash and It has the most potential with it's crazy low marketcap for what it already offers users. These guys deliver on all their projects but the one thing they suck at is marketing which is why the coin is doing so badly in price. In terms of development I believe only ETH can match up at this point in time. Here is what they have coming.

https://gulden.com/pow2     --> Witnessing on PoW blocks creating greater security against attacks and being able to earn 20% of the block reward. After the update only 1 confirmation needed due to greater security.
https://gulden.com/SegSig   --> 58% saving on transaction space > Segwit which is only 25%

https://dev.gulden.com/august-development-update/

Oh... and the merchant adoption rate is faster then another other coin besides bitcoin.

The above looks great and you probably asking yourselves why is this coin not in the top 100. It really is because they don't hype and market the coin. Development is taking place under the radar kind of like Cyberpunk 2077 Wink

Agree with Biomike, non traders are piling into bitcoin expecting a repeat of Bitcoin Cash. Real traders know better.  Wink

I am going to say 1200-1400 will be the new low. BTC will see +$7000 on this next run.

Dash is maintaining it's $ value but has lost ground in sat value like Gulden. Gulden has dropped in $ value too, it's oversold if btc price drops today but if btc keeps going up then my prediction above.

I don't know what to say to this community, it's a real shame Gulden can't get traction and it does feel like there is a hand working against the coin so it does not succeed. Life isn't fair peeps.  Shocked Shocked

ignore the haters who don't understand their junk is pushed up by pump groups on Poloniex.

Poloniex whales haven't heard of Gulden, it's all good.  Grin

Whoop Whoop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Timburton does this mean the mighty PoW2 and SegSig release is on for 3rd November?

91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 5 Altcoins Under $10 You Need to Buy. on: October 02, 2017, 07:38:48 AM
The value by unit doesn't matter because the number of coins or tokens are arbitrary.

What matters is the market cap, and even market cap can be misleading

ICOs do have an unfair advantage when it comes to marketcap due to all tokens being included in the valuations on release. Also no mining as 100% of the supply is avail on release but only whatever was sold through the ICO available in circulation. Selling will only come from traders due to this. Also if the ICOs were selling at 5 Euro per token, the initial users won't sell below that. It is the perfect Ponzi.

92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: October 02, 2017, 07:25:28 AM
I notice the coin has dropped to rank 93 on coinmarketcap, is it because the exchange didn't come on the 1st October or because the PoW2 is not ready?

It's because over 20 new ICOs are being created every week and some land above $50 million in marketcap without having done shit, so if anyone needs to make a 10 times profit on these coins they will need to go above half a billion USD.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which alt coin will gain most value in 2017? on: October 02, 2017, 07:14:57 AM
The deception on this thread is rather funny considering Gulden is not on the list and is about to do one of the biggest updates in crypto history.

2 Euro - Gulden exchanges opening up this month too.

Winner for 2016 was definitely NEM, but watch Gulden over the next 12 months.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: September 29, 2017, 02:35:00 PM
I bought some Gulden before a couple of month. I will hold them for longterm, I think there is a lot of stuff, that is coming up!

Hmm, I think it's not just the guilder can or has the possibility to be higher than the other. Because everyone's needs are different and it depends how everyone responds to all the things that exist, the one thing that we can or indeed will be obtained is bitcoin. Where I am sure in the future excellence of bitcoin will be much better compared to other cryptocurrency, just that there are indeed some that is not the case however that only last a few moments. Much better indeed guilder is used for short-term investments and long-term investments bitcoin.

Take litecoins marketcap 2 833 453 612 / Guldens marketcap 40 705 871 = Litcoin worth 69.6 times more then Gulden. This is the true discount you getting with Gulden for a much better coin and experience. How long this will last, who knows?

I will take a look , you have probably missed out on the hidden gem called Gulden. Next month PoW2 and SegSig launch, possibly the largest update in crypto history.

https://gulden.com/pow2
https://gulden.com/SegSig

This is truly a coin that doesn't hype but delivers, the 1.6 update they did was mindblowing. I can control my Android wallet funds from my Desktop wallet via a link feature. Both decentralized wallets + account system.

Now i REALLY like the rapper's post to his fans!

That's FREE PUBLICITY! If others start doing the same, it will be a knock out for sure. By the way, the price is getting higher. COOL! This coin has been stable for months and i just can't believe it will not wind up into the top #10.
It's one of the coins which has a real value. Not some bogus/hype crap, with nothing being it.

Still only ranked 98 on coinmarketcap, if it stays this way after the release it's going to make the other coins above it look EXTREMELY INFLATED and ridiculous. We will see if fairness prevails in the crypto world. Effort and Innovation vs Reward.

Where did wallzilla came from? That's a 160000 USD buy order there.

I really hope upon a hope that it gets rid of the dumpers, they sell out to a rich investor and the coin can move forward.

Whatever the reason is, it's clear that the wall moved back (after the price pumped a bit). No need to sell onto that wall anyway,
if it moves, it can move up.

I didn't see at what time it moved back, but if it moved when people started dumping into it, my guess is that it is for a PnD scheme
(or something similar).

I would say real investors are starting to collect coins before the price rises.

There is some good news for Gulden and that is bittrex is the largest altcoin exchange by far as of two weeks ago. There is no need for Poloniex as most traders have moved to bittrex so please can this topic be dropped.
What does this mean for Gulden? Well it's up to the developers to deliver on PoW2 and SegSig and get some exposure so people know what's coming, the Gulden community can't hide behind the Poloniex excuse anymore for not being a top 20 coin.

Beg the devs to release this year because last years rise will be dwarfed by the amount of bitcoin on bittrex compared to last year. Great chance for Gulden to get noticed.

Gulden in reality should be somewhere between Decred and Lisk on coinmarketcap but would be higher if it had more direct fiat pairings with EURO, USD, GBP which will prevent a lot of people access to the coin when this release comes. I believe the two Euro exchanges will be out before the PoW2 release and that will help a lot to put Gulden on a new pricing level.

Gulden in my prediction will be the coin for the West where bitcoin is mainly owned by the East which is why it might be a good idea not to have fiat pairings with CNY and KRW.

Some of the comments on here are laughable and embarrassing. Scooby do is less confused than some of you on here.

There is so much bullshit posted on here it's almost impossible to know where to start.

BioMike, why do you insist on posting in this thread when you complained in the past about being dragged back into the Gulden discussion? Your posts are becoming less credible every time. You know fine well that this whole snapchat bullshit is not a PnD attempt so why imply that it is? You should spend more of your time helping your Gulden hating butthurt friends to offload their enormous shitcoin bags. Go and stick some signs on some bus stops in the arse end of nowhere instead, or whatever else you like to do in your leisure time.

Don't further destroy your credibility or the credibility of your other projects by continuing to post horseshit in this thread.

This thread is full to the brim with FUD. It must be ignored by all potential Gulden investors at all costs. Stay up to date with developments through official channels.

Good post, but give Biomike some credit. I don't trade but traders like Biomike help users get in at a lower price by artificially suppressing the value allowing a lot more users to enjoy the benefits of growth when it takes place.

The chart for Gulden is very similar to how bitcoin started off, long time of stability followed by increase in value and a new stable price that is higher then previous one.

Well I would like it if the price can remain this low for another 6 months to 12 months so i can buy up a little bit each month with my salary. Trying to get as much out of the Euro as possible.

Sad to hear about the delay but in the long term it will be good for Gulden, in the short term i have pulled a few btc away in buy support as I see other traders have done because bitcoin is going to break $4500 this week. I think if traders are smart we can use this break to get Gulden under 2000 because of the delay in development and another increase in bitcoin price.

Aim for another 1500-2000 sat range will be a really good bargain if you already own bitcoin.

Bitcoin has passed $4500, Gulden is holding up well but if the release is only in March next year then you will have 6 months more of cheap pricing for the coin. Plenty time to get in on this 1500 - 3000 range.

Segwit has been enabled on Vertcoin and price is skyrocketing, digibytes price pump only came after Segwit was released. Pre pumps don't exist anymore because traders have also been burnt with coins hyping but not releasing. Guldens price will not skyrocket until investors have proof the development is going live. I trust this dev team will deliver but it will take longer and Gulden version of Segwit is called SegSig which is more then twice as good as Segwit. Investors are watching, don't be fooled into thinking this coin is only for people without money.

The landscape has changed for the better, coin values are only rising after development is complete. The days of pre development pumps are over because coins didn't deliver on the projects and investors got burnt. Most people should be able to trust Gulden to deliver eventually but it's the timing that is the problem. Project is delayed twice already , once because of SegSig and another because the devs found further improvements. The delays are for good reasons but it's not good for the price, but if you are a long term holder price today or this year does not matter.

When the devs deliver this is the cheapest innovative coin on the market by a long stretch.

It might be in the devs best interest to wait for the Euro exchanges to launch as this is opening up Gulden for entire Europe? More options for buyers with eventful news will be better for the coin.
