81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin changed my life! on: January 30, 2020, 04:36:46 AM
I still recall clearly who I was a year ago. I remember that I engaged myself in brick laying work just for money. I was as broke as can be. But then, my aim while doing the daily job was to save enough money fix my phone, and come into the crypto space. To those outside this sphere, it was a kind of funny story. After having battled with this, my dad agreed to buy me a small phone. To do my daily/weekly subscription, I had to starve myself and use the cash for data. Some months after then, I bought a PC computer. In fact, I started becoming independent (doing almost all of my stuff for myself). Later on, I bought another phone (way more expensive than the initial) and even made more money off the new phone. Presently, I'm a student. Irrespective of the fact that there's no much money, I still find some means to get something out of my phone.

This story of mine is one very inspiring story. It shows how bitcoin can change ones life. Everything that made me earn within the past year revolved around bitcoin. This story doesn't just inspire others, it inspires me too. Especially when I remember who I was a year ago and compare that person with who bitcoin made me.
Summarily, bitcoin changed my life!

What story related to bitcoin inspires you?
if I will compare myself from the past I can say that my life also become better because of bitcoin
Bitcoin also changes my life it also helps me become financially independent.
even i can't buy everything I want at least now I can buy what I need because of bitcoin
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee called BITCOIN as a Shitcoin! on: January 30, 2020, 04:10:01 AM
Its look like Mcafee sold all his bitcoin after creating hype last time
This is one of the reasons why we need to stay away from those people who make speculation without basis
Some of them is just using their follower and take advantage of those people to make a better profit
and now he is giving a negative statement it looks like he wants to buy some cheap bitcoin again.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Opinion: PoW Will Always Be Criticized for Inefficiency on: January 27, 2020, 02:29:46 PM
PoS is a system to make the rich richer with low/no effort.
i agree this is the one thing that is not good about POS
only those with large amount of coin will get a good amount of rewards with low or no effort
and its almost impossible for those with small amount of coin to get rewards even they will get rewards it will be so small that almost nothing
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No good projects from a long time on: January 27, 2020, 02:20:09 PM
There had come many ICOs in 2017 and a good number of STOs in 2018 and many IEOs in 2019 but hardly a few have made it to 'relatively better than others' list.
I wonder why haven't there come potential coins like ether. The only project that looked promising to me this year was bittorrent which was lauched on binance launchpad.
But even that is not going so well these days.

Is the world out of ideas or solutions?
there is some coin i saw in the past with potential
but i don't believe in their promises until they release their product or platform
im just waiting this year if the past ICO, IEO, STO will make further development because to get recognized its really takes time
but if they not i just hope there will be some good coin/token sale that will happen this year.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fun and interactive way for token holding on: January 27, 2020, 01:58:42 PM
Hello

I recently joined a project's event called Holders reward. But the only thing i have to do is hold tokens for a certain period of time.

I'm wondering if you know any fun and interactive token holding events (that does not include staking).

Or if you ever joined such an event what were you doing and was it interesting?

Thak you for your comments in advance.
i didn't see or participate in this kind of event in the past
its risky if your token will be locked for a certain period of time and you cant cancel it
the only thing i know which give rewards for holding is staking
the good thing for staking in your own wallet is you can cancel it or send your token anytime you want

86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose DEX? How to avoid scam? on: January 27, 2020, 01:52:23 PM
I'd like to discuss DEX exchanges and its variety.
There are many of it, and top-lists of top DEX exchanges are appearing often as well (here's an example for 2019). After reading one of the latest articles about it, I started to think -- there's too much info and not all of it is trustworthy. Reading reviews, comparing fees... I'd like to know which DEX platform you use and how did you make a decision about it?
Could you tell if you stick to one particular platform or use several of them? What criteria did you rely on?
its been a long time since the last time I use DEX so im not really familiar which DEX is safe now
for me i stick in one or two platforms the DEX i use before is IDEX and Etherdelta
but there is not a lot of user in DEX compared to Centralized exchange so its really hard to do trading in DEX
in the past, before i use DEX  I also look for reviews online about the Dex then test it first
until now my coin is still safe and i didn't experience anything so far

87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pet shop want to become a bitcoin exchange? on: January 27, 2020, 01:25:15 PM
I’ve got a pet shop and I wanted to accept bitcoin and alt coins then I was reading about becoming a bitcoin exchange ... is this possible? I understand it’s worth goes up and down.
it will be a good way to promote bitcoin if you will accept it in your pet shop
but you need to learn about trading because price of bitcoin is volatile
so if someone pays bitcoin in your shop you will know when to hold or sell.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Crypto Vs Corona Virus on: January 26, 2020, 03:35:59 PM
Today is a big celebration day of the Chinese New Year, but on the other hand China is being hit by an epidemic that is the corona virus. So the Chinese government recommends that Chinese citizens do not travel on holidays and they close some tourism facilities to the public.
Even in Japan reportedly there are some shops that do not allow tourists from China to not visit their stores.
From this incident, will this affect the economy of China, especially China and the global crypto world?
https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/economy/global-markets-swoon-as-lethal-virus-in-china-spreads/2020/01/23/a2223898-3dff-11ea-8872-5df698785a4e_story.html
in my opinion, the economy of China will really be affected because of this
but I think it will not harm bitcoin or crypto in a large way

89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: which year Bitcoin will be 100% mined? on: January 26, 2020, 03:30:43 PM
ya but we are close to 21 million already, so that could happen in like 2 years
there will be a halving in bitcoin block reward every 4 years
the next halving will happen May this year and the current 12.5 bitcoin block reward will be divided to half to 6.25
the halving will continue every 4 years until it reaches the max supply of 21 million
the block time is approximately 10 minutes and if you calculate it you will realize that the mining will not end in the next 2 years
and if you don't know what will happen after all coin is mined
the network will still continue and the miner will only get the fee of all transactions in the block as reward.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do they accept bitcoin in your country embassy? on: January 26, 2020, 02:54:51 PM
We have seen a lot of things we can use bitcoin for.like paying of bills, trading I learnt some organizations accept bitcoin not in countries like China.. etc please do they accept Bitcoin at you country traveling embassy?
im only aware that in my country there is some way to use bitcoin
like to pay bills, utility, game credits even health care and insurance
but i didn't know if the embassy is accepting bitcoin
what i only know is some third party platforms are accepting bitcoin and turn it to cash to pay.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Held a bitcoin seminar today on: January 26, 2020, 12:46:54 PM
It hasn't been easy for me lately because I'm a student. However, I find time to make a way for bitcoin promotion. Today, after classes, tho the place wasn't excessive convenient, Me and my friend held a seminar in which we talked to about 10 or more people about bitcoin. We also elaborated to them about the disadvantages and advantages involved in crypto.
Also, a WhatsApp group was created so as To Help them with anything that seems confusing. Of course, they already have their wallets installed! ♥

Lol.... My head was aching before and after the seminar. However, we had to hold it!
At least with this example, others (including you) would do their best to promote bitcoin and the blockchain technology.

Click on the following links to see the images

2. https://ibb.co/TByZZmJ

Actually I'm not in the image; privacy reasons
this is actually good way to promote bitcoin
if only i have some friend nearby who is highly interested in bitcoin i also want to do this kind of thing
as of now im still telling my friend about bitcoin but they still hesitant
and if someday they become interested i hope i can also do some seminar in our country.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters let use our brain and get united, PLEASE! on: January 25, 2020, 10:38:39 AM
Guys,
Enough is enough. Let's get united. It's too much now. Let's fu** them all who deceived bounty hunters after getting success.

Azbit such a crap project, they keep locking the bounty token for years, about 5-6 months ago, they said bounty token will be unlocked on 5 February 2020, now they extended it to May 1st! Look at TOKOIN, another busted team they have, before, they said within four months they will distribute all the tokens, but now they decided to distribute token throughout the whole 2020 year! Seriously?

This is not the end, look at Digitalbits, their bounty ended in may 2019, and still, they did not distribute where they promised to distribute within January to March 2020, but no single update set yet!

Hunters! Be an avenger now, let's work together to ruin these projects. We won't tolerate scammer in crypto anyhow. We can promote them to get success and we the hunters can ruin them too. What do you say now? Please leave your comments!

N.B: Can I uncensored those words?
well its not easy to ruin some project but its not really impossible
those who just move their payment for bounty is a little better than those scam bounties that don't even have the plan to pay the participants
but for me its better if we will just stop promoting ICO without upfront payment or not using escrow
even in bitcoin campaign, there is escrow or payment upfront
so, in my opinion, it's not really right to promote not popular coin without secure payment
It looks like we are helping them to scam other people at the same time scam us.

93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As expected THE LIAR, CLOWN 'John McAfee' backs down from $1M claim on: January 25, 2020, 10:23:12 AM
Him calling bitcoin "ancient technology" is definitely disappointing and very ignorant of him, but let's be honest here. Realistically speaking, do you really think he would eat his meat shaft just because he lost a bet that's pretty much just sealed by oral contract? Especially on live television?
i agree no one will really do it, especially in live television
that guy just wants to create hype at that time for some extra money
so it's really best to stay away from those who make speculation without basis and called herself a crypto enthusiast.
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India Central Bank Says It Hasn’t Banned Crypto on: January 25, 2020, 10:16:51 AM
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) said regulated entities cannot offer crypto assets in the country, but that does not equate to an overall digital asset ban.  READ MORE VIA THE LINK BELOW...
https://worldpublicityblog.com/index.php/2020/01/23/india-central-bank-says-it-hasnt-banned-crypto/
its not really easy to overall ban crypto in one country
they can only do it in some centralized platform like bank
in my opinion, it will not really harm bitcoin because individuals still can use it or use the platform of other countries
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Pyramid Schemes are still Amongst Us on: January 25, 2020, 09:29:56 AM
This is new year and i expect newbies to get smarter, be careful of new projects that are nothing but pyramid schemes, Multilevel marketing schemes or pyramid schemes may likewise be utilized to swindle crypto investors. Such new companies guarantee enormous degrees of profitability inside a brief period, and regularly convey different individuals to rope in new members. When the part list gets generous and the fraudsters get a sizeable store, they evaporate, leaving all investors seething. The most ideal approach to distinguish such schemes is to take a gander at the project's experience. Such projects will in general evade any perceived organizations or bureaus and have next to no undeniable foundation data, be very careful and limit your losses this new year, all the best.
newbie really need to be careful about pyramid schemes we always need to make a research before investing
a pyramid scheme is really easy to find out because there is already some article available online that can help to point if its one

96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum set new High in this Year on: January 24, 2020, 04:26:20 PM
Ethereum is About to set new high in this year . Most of the new and previos Projects are on the ETH platform.

ETH is really popular in their token creation that's why many projects are developing in their network
but in my opinion, to reach the last ATH and set a new high in this year will be really hard to achieve

97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my two Bitcoins (just for example) if I lose my security key? on: January 24, 2020, 04:22:08 PM
What happens to my two Bitcoins (just for example) if I lose my security key? I do not have any Bitcoin at the moment. But, I am quickly learning about Bitcoin as I want to very soon make my very first purchase of some amount of it. My question has to do with there being a finite amount of Bitcoin in circulation. Today about 17,000,000 (17 million) Bitcoins are in existence. By year 2140 as I understand it there will be no more than 21,000,000 (21 million) Bitcoins in existence. Furthermore, my understanding is that I am the only person with access to my Bitcoin through my private security key. Now, my question is. If I lose my security key to, let's say, one of my Bitcoin wallets that has maybe 2 Bitcoin in it. Then, what happens to that 2 Bitcoin in the context of the 17 million Bitcoin currently in existence. Who can find and use those 2 Bitcoin that I "lost". Or, do those 2 Bitcoin get lost forever, because I'm presuming no one ever will find/guess my lost security key? An analogy is, if I lose a hundred dollar bill, someone will likely find it and be able to use it to put it back into market circulation. However, if the hundred dollar bill gets flushed down a sewer drain, then it gets permanently removed from market circulation. So, I'm wondering, do the 2 Bitcoins in my example that I "lost", do they permanently get removed from market circulation. And, if so, then does that mean that in 2140 there will be 2 Bitcoins fewer in the total market circulating, for example, 21,000,000-2 would make it 20,999,998 Bitcoins in circulation. Or, can those 2 lost Bitcoins be *replaced* by Bitcoin mining over time so that the market has the full 21 million in circulation.
if you lose 2 bitcoin it will really be lost forever and permanently get removed from the market circulation no one will have access on it
as of now, there is already 1 - 3 million bitcoins that already lost base of what other people calculation
we just don't have hard evidence that the owner doesn't really have access to the coin or just don't move it.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So...Is Bitcoin the ultimate coin that does not need more development? on: January 24, 2020, 04:05:56 PM

As subject goes, is Bitcoin the maximum version?

Is it still possible to develop it?

or

Can we still expect better coin than Bitcoin?
bitcoin is still under development
it will get more update in the future to match what the users needs
that's why we also don't need to expect a better coin than bitcoin because bitcoin itself will be upgraded in better version in the future.
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin bank, Necessary? on: January 24, 2020, 03:55:12 PM

Bitcoin can be the future bank all over the world. It might be similar value of World Bank.

Now a days there are so many big transactions are done with crypto currency. If people don’t want to tell globally about their transactions they may use crypto in big number of amount in a single transaction, and nobody else can recognize that why and what they do transfer.

If there any kind of illegal activities involved in that transaction then if there is bitcoin bank exist over there then some kind of transactions may be stop by the bank.

In that case all the government make bitcoin bank in future, they will ask for all account’s details and the person who access the account. If all holders gives them details then it will be it safe or not?
in terms of storing our bitcoin, I don't think we need a bank
because our own wallet is already like a bank

100  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BEWARE what you visit! Google's new design makes Ads look like normal results! on: January 24, 2020, 03:46:16 PM
even it's hard for ads to be accepted in google it just good to be aware of this
the thing is they can promote it not only in google
so it's better to always check the link especially for newbies
this kind of thing is similar to what they called phishing online
