341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Need to Reconsider Holding altcoins on: November 18, 2019, 04:01:40 PM
The altcoin markets has been favorable to few but not all. it is presumed that the early and private investors rake out big cash on New and old altcoin projects leaving many projects at the mercy of the cryptomarkets for survived.  Although Most altcoins that has gone down below ROI to the verge of disappearing from the market are increasing daily.
One of the ideology we all know about the cryptocurrency is the knowledge of Holding back some altcoins we believed that will do well in the long run. it is an interesting thing to NOTE that these TWO Altcoins made me have a strong feeling that cryptocurrency can be a fortune if you are lucky to invest on it

BLOCKV
 https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/blockv/

and
THORECOIN
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/thorecoin/

A closer look on these two altcoins will make you have a rethink about holding some altcoins, what to hold and Not to sell off everything if you have to sell. Both token raised from zero usd to a high price. even contesting with the top 100 coins on CMC. i am sure there are other altcoins that made this moves in the market but it's quite unfortunate that few people are holding such while some has sold off.

So, before you make that decision of selling off everything that you have in wallet because the market is down and out. please reconsider before you regret your moves. you might be holding a token that worth millions in the next 2 years.
well the market is unpredictable and if you will only depend because it reaches a high price before that's not a good idea
because they're a lot of coins with the same graph and it becomes really hard to differentiate want to coin will survive in the next price rise
you can gain big profit from investing in altcoin but the risk is so high
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Extra weeks added to bounty campaign on: November 18, 2019, 03:52:55 PM
To all bounty hunters on this wonderful forum i want to know if its advisable to continue with the bounty you have been promoting for 12weeks that got extra 8weeks added more, have you promote projects this long that ends up with good end results? Thank you
working for too long for the project is not a good idea
the main reason for them to extend the bounty is because the token is failed to reach the current goal
by getting more investor and extending the project will result in a lower value of the token
343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trade Bitcoin - AVOID "Get Rich Quick" Shit Coin Pump and Dump on: November 17, 2019, 12:53:27 PM
That's the thing. The only people gaining are the people that initiated the pumps. They're smart. As soon the shit coin goes up buy 10-20% they sell to people buying after the 10-20% up. Anyone who buys after that is stuck with those coins because no one is going to buy a shit coin that is up that much. They end up selling at a huge lost (sometimes 70-90% lost). It's a scam that works well for people who organize pump and dumps.

The FOMOs are trying to get rich overnight, but ended up loosing everything. I wish people get it that only trading / investing in Bitcoin will bring you profit. Only BTC's price fluctuate to the point where you can make nice profit trading with even $500. It's going to take a while to build up the profit, but it's almost always a sure thing.
i agree buying pump coin will not really give profit instead they will lose all their investment
many new users think they can become a millionaire in bitcoin overnight
that why we always need to remind them because in crypto there is always new into this
I'm just hoping if they make a wrong choice they will learn from their own mistake

344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many of you are Satoshi Millionaire? on: November 17, 2019, 12:36:33 PM
Satoshi Millionaire is one, who has 1 million Satoshi, i.e. 0.01 BTC.

There was a time when new entrants wanted to reach goal of 21 BTC, i.e. one in a million. Then it became Satoshi Billionaire, i.e. 10 BTC. Then 21 million club, i.e. 1 BTC. Now, owning 1 BTC is difficult and being a Satoshi Millionaire is the new goal.
well owning 1 bitcoin right now become really hard and earning a million satoshis is not easy but reachable
but for me, I will stick in my goal before to become one in a million or have 100 bitcoin
in my opinion its better to set your goal higher so you will work harder
345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Informed is Your Country's Police About Crypto? on: November 17, 2019, 12:27:42 PM
In my country, I see many sites that are Bitcoin ponzi and scams. These thrive because the police put in little effort in tacking them. I like the awareness being created by the Indian police. What is the awareness level of law enforcement about crypto in your country? If All Police Officers are Trained in Crypto... https://www.cryptoinfowatch.com/indian-police-train-officers-on-cryptocurrency/
even in my country there is a cyber crime force and its not really only for crypto related only issue
but the good thing is you can still complain but in my opinion solving the issue will be challenging for them
because they can only solve the issue if the scammer is within the country
its more better if we will have a worldwide crypto crime group so they can pass the issue if it is not within their country
346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Friendly City on: November 17, 2019, 12:12:49 PM
After reading the article published by investopedia.com the common thing that makes these cities bitcoin friendly is the presence of merchants accepting bitcoins and the existence of bitcoin atms.
i agree the cities will only be a bitcoin friendly if the local merchant start to accept bitcoin
I do hope that in the Philippines, even though it's not yet confirmed it was a bitcoin friendly country, ATM services should be opened to different City around the country. On that idea, it has a good effect on the demand so people can be properly oriented with digital currency if it would be openly accessible anywhere.
our country is a bitcoin-friendly country we have bitcoin wallet where you can pay utilities transfer bitcoin trough bank and send without fee within the wallet but until now there is almost none or only few local merchant accept bitcoin as payment
i just wish someday local merchant will start to accept bitcoin for payment and our country will be listed as one of the bitcoin-friendly country
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bank of Crypto? on: November 16, 2019, 12:09:59 PM
Considering that most people nowadays often find it hard to store and protect their cryptocurrencies, it's best to delegate the responsibility to a middleman. A bank of crypto would fit the bill nicely, as people would be able to secure their cryptocurrencies without ever having to follow the necessary precautions to prevent hacks or theft. As long as the bank of crypto is highly regulated by the government, then it'll be here to stay for a long time. Still though, not everyone will agree to this as it greatly defeats the whole purpose of crypto and Blockchain technology. The idea of a bank providing crypto services would only prove to be viable for newcomers into cryptocurrency. People who're experienced in crypto, wouldn't need this in the first place.

Nonetheless, do you think that a Bank of Crypto will happen anytime soon? If so, why? Smiley
it the opposite of the purpose of crypto but it is not really bad idea this can help new to bitcoin to feel safer
but having a bank for crypto has a high risk to be targeted by hacker similar what always happens in some exchange
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you any new ideas to replace the KYC? on: November 16, 2019, 09:53:30 AM
The crypto market is decentralized, we live here as anonymous and free and we love it! But this KYC process is killing the anonymity of crypto! To invest in a good IEO you need to verify KYC, to do a good bounty project, you will have to go through KYC! But why? You guys are doing nothing with our KYC, then why you keep asking our identity? A selfie by holding my ID card, wtf! Did we ever ask you to verify your KYC when you launch a project/bounty?  Why you are not coming with another option where a freedom crypto member doesn't need to show his face?

Ok, guys, now my question to you, Have you any idea what can be good to replace the KYC method?
i prefer not to join those bounties that required a KYC
i only make an exception if the token look really promising
but joining every campaign and submitting your personal identification in every campaign is not really a good idea

349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the not-so-known ways to generate crypto? on: November 16, 2019, 09:46:09 AM
Everyone talks about blogging, commerce, using referral systems, bounty, campaign signatures, streaming, selling courses, offering their services in gaming, camwhore. But there are other not so known ways to generate/earn cryptos?
I think you already mention almost all of it
offering services is not only for gaming but you can also offer your services online using your professional skills
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top Cryptocurrencies to Invest in 2020 on: November 16, 2019, 09:42:02 AM
The year 2019 is reaching its brink. 2019 was an average year for the crypto market. The market capitalization took a drastic change and the prices of most of the cryptocurrencies crashed. However, the crypto market is sort of leaning towards the green region in the last quarter of 2019.

Now, you might be pondering which cryptocurrencies are considered as a “Good Investment” in the upcoming 2020.
In my view Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple (XRP), Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash are the top crypto in 2020.

What's your take on this?
for me just to be safe ill go for bitcoin and just a few percentages to eth
the market is unpredictable and the risk is so high
I'm not saying bitcoin or ethereum is safe but in my opinion it is safer than other cryptos.

352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you invest 60 BTC? on: November 15, 2019, 12:59:30 PM
hold your bitcoin for long term and when prices reach over 50000 usd per btc you can sell some or sell when prices rise over 100000 usd per btc. number of investors grow day by day .look to prices of past year no one expect this current level . so if you sell there is always who buy too . for this reason prices bitcoin will rise to high level more than this level much

its good to invest in bitcoin but just holding all the 60 btc and wait for the price rise is not a good idea
price of bitcoin is not predictable sometimes price stay in the bottom for a month or more
and if that happens it is more likely you will sell bitcoin at much lower price.
353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For new people, when they go on the journey to bitcoin. on: November 15, 2019, 10:06:44 AM
If we consider earn bitcoin as some goal, or something else altogether, we must have the following:
Work, the effort to succeed, and the ability to cope with the environment.
These are the three basic things to be successful. And most of all it refers to things like bitcoin.

-Work can be divided into: work by obligation and work by motivation.
these two concepts are different because I quote "He who wants is better than what he has to", therefore more productive and intense work that brings better results and rapid progress towards the goal.

-The effort in this case can be divided into: incorrect effort and correct effort.
Improper effort, that is, a desire to work and be better
but you are still learning the wrong way (and you know the way you would be better) and therefore have no means of progress
The right effort is to learn it the hard way because you know that you will be better off if you hear it right and it comes to your own later.
The right effort to progress in everything you do has to exist, the basis of every progression is.

-Being able to cope in the surrounding area is one very important thing, it will not always be possible to seek help from someone, sometimes we are left to nature and we are our own boss. Someone gets it by birth, someone gets it, and everyone else is just miserable workers who do nothing from their lives. "If there is no way find it, if you don't find it, make it"

Conclusion:
You don't always have to wait out of the chair with your feet up on the table, you don't reach your destination that way. Nothing will fall from heaven into our pocket.
We must give 100% of ourselves to succeed what we want.

i agree we all know that we only have one chance in our life and if we really want to succeed
we need to give our best and learn from hardest way as much as possible
it is not only applicable in bitcoin but in all different profession
354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why hasn't any altcoin replaced bitcoin? on: November 15, 2019, 09:47:47 AM
Every thing is being developed. Every device is finally replaced by a newer one. Why no altcoin has replaced bitcoin till now? Do you think it will happen in future?
well in my opinion bitcoin or crypto is the new technology
that will replace the current payment system online
355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that cryptos such as Bitcoin would be mainstream? on: November 15, 2019, 09:14:46 AM
I was just wondering if one day it would be possible for cryptos such as Bitcoin (BTC) OR Ethereum (ETC) to become mainstream one day for people to use for day to day transactions on a daily basis. Because I heard that the people in Zimbabwe with their economic difficulties use cryptocurrencies as a means of trade.

Would the world adopt cryptocurrency as a means of transaction, what do you guys think?

bitcoin hitting the mainstream is possible to happen
because bitcoin has a lot of potential in terms of payment method

356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think the Bounty program is over? on: November 14, 2019, 01:04:53 AM
I don't think the Bounty program is over.
Of course, the ICO market has died a lot, but I think the Bounty program will continue until a new marketing plan is released.
Or if there is a new marketing plan that I don't know about, please let me know.
well bounty campaign is not really over there is still a lot of it here in bitcointalk
but it is not the same as before when you can earn a good amount of money and see a lot of good campaign.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT HAPPENS IF BTC TOUCHES 100K ? on: November 13, 2019, 11:57:00 PM
What happens if BTC is still rally to 100K ?
ALTS ?? dump to zero
at the moment BTC sideways until end of the year

this time currently the last choice for ALTs
take actions or die..!!!

good luck
when it really happens some altcoin will not survive but not all altcoin will die.
so, in my opinion, it is not really a good thing to buy some altcoin today
buying altcoin today can give you a lot of profit someday but you also have a higher chance to lose all your money
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not trust New wallets with your fund on: November 13, 2019, 11:52:05 PM
The reason why i don't like new wallets
1. They always have low users which means they have nothing new to offer, even if new users try them out, once they don't see any thing new they bounce back to their old wallet, repetitive at work

2. Many new wallets on playstore can't be trusted, they have different set of aims, some have access to your private keys but they will fool users thinking you are the only one in control of the private keys and some don't  give out private keys to users, they work as online wallet
yes there a lot of new wallet this day and it's not really good thing to use it to store your funds
for me, I only use the old reputable wallet
359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: From Buying Pizza To Buying A Condo in Manhattan. Bitcoin is Fast Evolving on: November 13, 2019, 11:43:12 PM
Real estate tycoon Ben Shaoul has sold a retail condo in Manhattan’s prestigious Upper East Side for $15.3 million in Bitcoin (BTC). The news was reported by New York real estate magazine The Real Deal on Nov. 1.

Shaoul — who is president of the Magnum Real Estate Group — sold the 11,400-square-foot property to a Taiwan-based entity “Affluent International LCC,” according to a person familiar with the deal.

https://ct.com/80eu

This trend is not new. People see a profit in Bitcoin thats why they purposefully sell a property for coins. I am sure this person will get much more profit in the future than it would be as $15.3 in fiat.
I agree today the market is down and halving is coming next year
its really possible that he will get more profit someday.
360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dealing with cryptocurrency (in my country) isn't easy as I thought on: November 13, 2019, 11:34:21 PM
I guess I’m lucky to live in a country where a company which offers multiple services aside from storing a couple of cryptocurrencies, you can buy load and even pay your bills using cryptocurrencies or fiat through their app. Also you can withdraw your crypto assets hy converting it to fiat then withdraw it in the bank. Also the company is registered in our central bank.

So it is kind of surprising for me to have heard about your unfortunate circumstances that you’re facing in your respective country.
I'm also lucky to live in a country similar to what you describe
as a crypto user, it is very convenient to live in a country that crypto is accepted
but when mass adoption come I hope it will be the same all over the world.
