862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is there anything similar between cryptocurrency and torrents? on: September 25, 2017, 04:54:40 AM
can you please explain to me what's their connection between cryptocurrencies and torrents? I know that both p2p
I also know that many countries see torrent downloads as a bad thing and have laws against it.

in torrent you can share files and retreive files while in bitcoin you can pay and earn money
maybe the concept is similar but really diferrent purpose

I know a lot of people have different reason why the love and embrace bitcoin.
For me the decentralized nature of bitcoin and the thought of being able to send coins to anybody in any part of the word, no third party, no regulation(specific amount), no bullshit is mind blowing.

well what i like about bitcoin is you can earn it online can use for payment profitable and decentralized

867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is bitcoin bulletproof? on: September 05, 2017, 10:48:41 PM
Bitcoin survives so many challenges yet the value still growing eventually.

Started thinking bitcoin is bulletproof after witnessing so many challenges that may easily kill it yet still thrives.

No doubt, bitcoin is the invention of the century. I think bitcoin will shine more in the future because no country that can stop now.

What is your thoughts on this? Share with us what you think, please?
we cant say that bitcoin is bulletproof the good thing in bitcoin is it can adjust to what needed of the user so it keep growing and getting matured

870  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Spot A Bitcoin Scam on: September 05, 2017, 10:36:44 PM
There is one extremely straightforward rule - if it looks too good to be true then it is.

On top of that always google site:bitcointalk.org 'subject' and see if anything comes up. If nothing at all comes then that's not an encouraging sign.

Risk free returns are impossible. If there was a legitimate interest paying Bitcoin option I can guarantee you every single Bitcoin on Earth would pile into it instantly as they're all sat doing nothing. There is literally not one on the entire planet.

Lending on well known exchanges has enough risk, let alone all these bullshit ponzis. Have you been offered a specific 'opportunity'?
i agree if its good to be true better stay away from it usually its ponzi or hype you can also check if the site is in badbitcoin.org
871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: September 05, 2017, 10:33:15 PM

Have you asked Vitalik already?

Enough with the games... what needs doing with this one ? what do you guys expect to see ?

I expect to see some kind of development and addition to more exchanges for example

Seems like Dev isnt Udown with the Coin anymore at all.
Takeover Guy steps up or this will go to shit.
Sad was a promising One

Your right rumhurius...

Maybe someone will take over this project.

UDOWN will change to UDEAD soon Cheesy Nah as long as there is a network, nodes & YoBit the coin will live.

fading away to 1 sat is the new milestone for the roadmap huh ?
All i see is wasted potential on this one here.
See you on the next one guys.

I am back for now, I had a little bit of a health scare so had to prioritize other things in my life before this coin, still it's a bit touch and go but everything should be ok, here's hoping.
its good to know that dev is back
whats plan now dev?
874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AMS] AmsterdamCoin™ | XEVAN | PoW, PoS, Masternodes, Obfuscation, Seesaw on: August 28, 2017, 03:39:57 PM
i have also some ams in yobit i cant move the coin
its possible for the dev to give the updated version to yobit and send the exact swap amount of new coin that yobit hold
and just let yobit make the swap for their user
875  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: August 28, 2017, 03:35:54 PM
Bitcoin price keeps increasing. Price is x10 considering last year. Even 25k-50k-100k is predicted.

Are you adding more bitcoin by buying with cash? or you trade or invest in ICOs & altcoins in order to increase the amount you have?

or do you just hold what you have?
i dont buy bitcoin but i earn some daily in trading and other things and instead of changing it into cash
i keep on saving atleast half and use some for payment or trading

880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: August 19, 2017, 11:16:33 PM
I have been seeing Bitcoins' price rising with a stability in its growth, but due to the higher mining fee that is being levied on transactions these days, big businesses are now moving their funds towards alts and taking advantage with their least fees as well as shaping a completely new economy in the trends of altcoin markets. Do you think this may harm Bitcoin's dignity and open up a chance in real for alts to rise?
using other altcoin for small transaction is the best choice
but it impossible for other altcoin to overtake bitcoin as time pass by bitcoin keep upgrading
