1621  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The green shouldn't always be the reason to enter the market on: June 25, 2023, 11:36:21 PM
Sometimes when the market is red it can also be a good time to enter the market if carefully watched.  Not all green ends up with profit and not all red ends with loss too.
The ideal time to entry is in red market because it is the time when BTC is cheap. A green market means BTC price is increasing, so we can't by BTC at a cheap price. People may think the green market is a good time to entry, may not have the purpose to hold a long time. They just hold for a short time and take small profits. While for people who target for the long term investment, they must choose the entry time in bearish season (red market). Of course, green market doesn't guarantee for profits, it totally depends on the way (strategy) we trade.

1622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 25, 2023, 11:20:00 PM
According to transfermarkt there are two teams that want to hire Neymar for the next season and there is a high chance for him to leave PSG for Arabian teams because for players at this age and in this situation there won't be many offers from top-level teams. There is a chance for Neymar to return to Barcelona but I don't think Barcelona will accept hiring a player like Neymar to pay his high amount of salary.
That's why I'm waiting to see him playing for Arabian teams like Al Hilal

His future isn't clear, there are many rumors about him.
Actually, his contract will expire in 2025, he has 2 remaining years. Since Messi has left PSG and Mbappe is rumored to leave as well, PSG may expect Neymar to stay. If you look at PSG attackers, they have only a few players on the positions.

I don't think Neymar wants to join Al Hilal if PSG still expects him to stay. Even if he will get a huge money in Al Hilal, the league isn't as competitive as League 1. He got enough salary in PSG, he seems to stay comfortable if Mbappe is leaving. But if Mbappe stays, Neymar is possible to move to SPL or MLS.

Sure, Barcelona won't sign Neymar. Neymar is no longer in his best form.

1623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: June 25, 2023, 11:10:07 PM
The truth is that Pochettino is a better coach than both Lampard and Potter combined. Pochettino  squad building and integration skills is not something that can brushed aside in the bigger scale. Also, Potter and Lampard got every media support before and during the chelsea job and failed miserably. Why is the media not giving Pochettino  a chance at all?
It is too early to conclude Pochettino better than 2 previous coaches. His records aren't also very special, all the trophies he got when he was the manager of PSG only. He never won international competitions, all the trophies were local competitions in France. To be honest, I'm not really sure that Pochettino can easily improve the current condition of Chelsea. However, I agree that we must give him time and opportunity to manage Chelsea. We must understand why the media is not pessimistic with Pochettino, the media may consider his stats only.

1625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy ETH as much as you can.... on: June 22, 2023, 11:58:28 PM
ETH is the best altcoin, it is always recommended to buy and hold this coin as many as possible. But the price increase of ETH, mostly depends on the Bitcoin price trend. If you see it increased above $1,900 recently, it is because of the increase in Bitcoin price. After Bitcoin returned to $30k, ETH and other altcoins are following the increase, too. Now, I guess Bitcoin price will drop again below $30k, the uptrend is over. You must be aware that ETH price is following it, too. We can see the price of ETH is already below $1,900 again.

1626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on The Island of Bali, Indonesia on: June 22, 2023, 11:47:44 PM
There is nothing people can do if someone who's a high official is against the usage of bitcoin and imposes a law or encourages its citizens and tourists to avoid using it.
The governor of Bali was just doing his job. It is his responsibility to announce that warning to the whole people in Bali, both the citizen and tourists. Well, Indonesian law is against the use of Bitcoin as a payment tool. The governor of Bali can't do anything, he only delivered what the laws state. Since Bali is a part of Indonesia, they must obey the laws as well.

While talking about the connection and ties of Indonesia and Israel, AFAIK, there's really a conflict between the two as Indonesia don't recognize Israel for its sovereignty.
Israel is a colonialist. Indonesia is always against a country that invades another country. Israel steals the land of Palestine, that's why Indonesia never recognizes its sovereignty.

1628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Casinos Go Bankrupt Because of Player Wins? on: June 21, 2023, 03:53:32 PM
It is possible but it should be a rare case. Most developers/owners must already consider that situation, so they must have enough money to pay whatever the prize won by the gamblers. The developers/owners won't launch casinos if they have limited money, they must prepare for anything that possibly happens. It is including how big the possible prize to win by gamblers. However, considering the small chance to win the gambling games, the bankruptcy of a casino is likely difficult to happen. Even I often heard that a win of a gambler is given by the house (casino owners). It is the way to attract more people to join the casino games.

Latest Updates!
Sources have revealed that it is thought West Ham will turn down the £90m bid and it looks like this will be the second time West Ham have turned down an offer. I think West Ham is too much for one player whose contribution to winning a major trophy is unclear and this rejection makes it clear that West Ham will never be satisfied with such an offer. On the other hand, West Ham is still expecting an offer from Manchester City and of course the offer must be higher than what Arsenal made. I think as a mediocre club, West Ham will actually be seen as not good if the problem of player transfers is still dissatisfied with this large nominal.
West Ham may consider his market value, it is around £90m now. I'm sure West Ham wants more than his market value, they may accept it if Arsenal offers £100m at least. Honestly, I'm also a bit surprised that Declan Rice's price can be £90m. As far as I know, he never won EPL title or UCL title, he also never becomes the best player in EPL. It is true that £90m seems too expensive, nothing so special with Declan Rice's career. But he is still young and a part of England national team, this can be the reason why his price is expensive. However, if I were Arteta, I prefer to buy Kroos than buy Decline Rice. Declan Rice isn't proven to give a significant role in a big team.

If West Ham expects Man City offer, I think it won't happen. Guardiola has enough midfielders, there are Rodri and Kalvin Phillips for defensive midfielders. I doubt if Guardiola looks for a new defensive midfielder.

1631  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Kontes #pizza-day-event-2023 (deadline 1 Juni 2023, besok) on: June 16, 2023, 11:58:57 PM

So many pizzas! It's finally time to reveal the winners. After some deliberation here is this year's prize structure:
1. Mendace: 0.003BTC
2. fillippone: 0.003BTC
3. Ale88: 0.003BTC
4. Petulino:  0.003BTC
5. Not your key not your btc: 0.003BTC

We may still consider applications from prominent members or previous CM participants and as such this campaign is still considered OPEN.
Sigcamp whirlwind berasa seperti the next Chipmixer, syaratnya ketat.

Dear Participants, I am so sorry for the late response. I was waiting for the 3rd-week upfront payment. I told them about the 3rd-week payment 1day before ending the second week. The man who contacted told me that he already forwarded it to the team. Last night he asked to wait me one day more for the 3rd-week payment.

For now, I want to pause the campaign till I am getting the fund for the next week. You can remove your signature. I will notify you immediately once I will get additional funds for next week. Of course, the previous participants will be accepted automatically if the campaign reopens again.

Edit: They also need to redesign the signature. Hopefully we will come back with new signature.

Thank you for sharing the information, manager.
I hope there will be good information about the payments for the next weeks and the signature campaign will be opened very soon.  Smiley

The 2nd-week payment has been sent. Transaction id: 6d0f592230ab85c246758368006d8405c6e76080109e55294009b7f2138f4bdf

Thank you guys for the amazing two weeks. And I am sorry for the delay of the payment. Hopefully, we will work together soon.

Payment has been received, manager. Thank you very much.  Smiley

1635  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gambling is different from trading on: June 13, 2023, 11:57:30 PM
Of course, gambling is different than gambling.
I think there is something wrong here. Huh
I'm sure you missed "trading" word in the sentence and you put too many "gambling" word.

Gambling is supposed to be fun and for entertainment purposes.
Unfortunately, some people play gambling for money. They think gambling is a way to earn money easily.  Grin

But, If you make spot trade, Just buy low and wait for your coin to pump up.
It is not as simple as you said.
We can buy coins at any time, but it is always not easy to wait for the time for selling. The pump isn't something predictable, it is even possible to have no pump if the project disappears.

1636  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance crisis - how will it affect the crypto market? on: June 13, 2023, 11:48:24 PM
Actually it's just an exchange, nothing else.
It may be an exchange only, but Binance case brings real impacts on crypto market.
The current drop in crypto market is clearly caused by the case. The impact may not last forever, but it really ruins the hype for the upcoming bullrun season. Crypto market rises quite fast before we have Binance case. Now, crypto market looks difficult to move up since many people are afraid of the future of their crypto assets.

If the bad news in Binance can affect the crypto market, it just show how many people are leaving their funds in Binance, they're either sold of their coins or move to other popular exchange.
It is not only about where people save their assets. People easily move their assets from Binance to another top CEX. But we have another problem related to the case, it is about people's trust in crypto exchange. If SEC easily intervenes number 1 crypto exchange, it means SEC is possible to bother crypto world at any time. People may feel afraid that the government and SEC have a plan to destroy crypto world gradually.

We need to panic if there's a technology can hack Bitcoin, but we all know it's currently impossible to happen.
Hacking happened many times on Bitcoin. But the hacking is to steal Bitcoin, it is not about destroying Bitcoin world. Hacking is impossible to steal blockchain technology or crypto technology.

1637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kids and Bitcoin on: June 13, 2023, 11:19:47 PM
My next Bitcoin awareness approach now are the children, there are many kids in my family and very soon our get-together tradition is approaching, I need your help in this forum if this is possible.
I remember when I was little, I love reading books that have good pictures on them, like comics and novels painted with amazing pictures, from Peter Pan to DareDevil and Supergirl, while growing up as an adult I ended giving out these comics to my cousins.
My question is where can I buy Bitcoin comic books that can catch the attention of children between the age of 7 to 11?
First of all, make sure Bitcoin isn't something illegal in your country. What is the status of Bitcoin or crypto in your country? Is it legal? If it is illegal, you are better to think again about your plan to share Bitcoin comic books with children. Their parents shouldn't be happy if they know their children are reading something illegal. Anyway, you also need to talk with their parents first before you share Bitcoin or crypto comic books. If their parents don't like Bitcoin or crypto, you don't share any information about Bitcoin or crypto with their children.

But is 7 to 11 years old suitable to learn about bitcoin? Does teaching bitcoin at a young age ensure they love and are passionate about it as adults? There's been a lot of controversy about bitcoin education for kids lately, and I know that everyone has their own opinion. But for me, this age is still unsuitable for knowing about money, bitcoin, they have more to learn than focus on bitcoin and finance too early.
The purpose is just to let the children know about Bitcoin, they shouldn't learn Bitcoin. I think there is no problem if we let the children know the Bitcoin picture, its function, or very basic things about Bitcoin. Anyway, learning basic things about money for children isn't something bad, they must know it since they are kids. But surely we limit the topics, it should be a very basic thing only. Everything that is suitable for children.

1638  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Factors that's why others are hesitant to start in crypto on: June 11, 2023, 11:59:55 PM
Many people do not understand the basics and working principles of Bitcoin, which may lead to distrust and caution towards cryptocurrencies.
The cryptocurrency market is very volatile and prices can rise or fall significantly within a short period of time. People worry that their investments are at risk.
Not only about less knowledge of understanding Bitcoin principles and crypto market, but people are also afraid because they hear too many FUDs. It leads people to distrust BTC or crypto as a whole. Unfortunately, many people are lazy, they don't do their own research about the facts. If they do own research, they must know that many FUDs are just created to make people stay away from crypto. This indicates that there are still many people who have low awareness and curiosity about the issue analysis.

Regarding volatility, it is actually an advantage if people understand it. With the high volatility, Bitcoin and altcoin prices can rise significantly, even it skyrockets in a short time. But it is also a big risk if people choose the wrong time for entry (buying). So, to deal with this, people must have sufficient knowledge.

1639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 11, 2023, 11:56:08 PM
Quote
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez wants to sign 24-year-old Paris St-Germain and France forward Kylian Mbappe but not this year. Perez is in no rush. He knows that Mbappe is not happy in Paris, but at the moment he is too expensive for Real and Perez is waiting for next year to get him much cheaper.
I was expecting this and it doesn’t sound surprising to me. Mbappe rejected an offer from this same team the last time and many of the fans troll him online and rain abuses on him but now look at it, they just can’t imagine not still having him in their team. I never thought Real Madrid will lack the finance to buy a player that they want, maybe he wouldn’t be interested in joining the team now and the money issue was brought up to cover up that.
Perez uses the right tactic to sign Mbappe. He knows Mbappe won't move to any club with their current contract status with PSG. So, Perez prefers to wait for 1 year more to sign him. I'm sure it is not about Real Madrid that has limited funds or lack of funds, but Real Madrid wants to sign Mbappe with proper transfer fees. Real Madrid doesn't want to sign him with an unrealistic amount of money.

To be honest, when Mbappe rejected Real Madrid offer previously, I am also very disappointed. I think Mbappe prefers money to the potential of a better career. But I still believe that Mbappe will move to Real Madrid someday, it is his dream. Mbappe only needed more time to stay in PSG first, he might think he didn't want to hurry to leave PSG. In the next year, Mbappe may change his mind to move to Real Madrid faster if he is getting uncomfortable to play in PSG.

1640  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cz or the Sec who would you support? on: June 11, 2023, 11:50:05 PM
To be honest, I wouldn't support any of them because the SEC is in fact Gensler, who got screwed by that deal with SBF where they'd meet up and discuss God knows what, andd then SBF would steal money from his clients under Gensler's nose.
I don't know what the real case is. What the SEC accuses has not been proven to be true. In this matter, I still support Binance because Binance is the best exchange in crypto and it has a big role in crypto world. As a crypto user, I think it is normal if we support Binance as long as the accusation isn't proven as the truth.

CZ is doing insider trading and is ready to list any shitcoin as long as it pays the listing fee. How would you support someone like that?
Binance has standard criteria to list a coin, they don't list any coin carelessly. It is not as easy as listing a coin by paying the funds only. Anyway, shitcoins aren't scam coins, so what's wrong with this? As long as Binance doesn't list scam coins, I think people will have no problem with that.

The important thing here is to realize that bitcoin is not crypto and bitcoin is not  a security. that's all there is to know.
BTC is not crypto?
Is it a non-crypto coin?  Huh
As far as I know, BTC is a part of crypto coins.
