161  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Sidechain & Colored-coins Idea on: September 21, 2023, 10:56:12 AM
Building the Sidechain on Bitcoin principles/Ideals

It's necessary that this Project or Sidechain be built on solid foundation to keep it secure and safe for users. This foundation we are talking about is the good principles Bitcoin Blockchain is built on.   To be able to identify all the principles you need to know the characteristics of the Bitcoin blockchain. The most important ones we have identified so far are  Decentralization, Transparency, Immutablity, Privacy/Anonymity features, Censorship Resistant, Permissionless/Trustlessness, Deflationary Currency etc
These are some of the most important principles of Bitcoin and we need to make sure the Sidechain have these characteristics or is built on the principles.

Summary on how the Bitcoin Principles should work on the Sidechain/sidechains:

Decentralization:  we once explained decentralization to mean this: a properly decentralized system means Power & Control of the system are equally distributed to its participants, and the ability to abuse the system by anyone is checked and prevented by everyone or by the participants. The Sidechain should be built to enable any interested human to easily run its full node and participate in its Network activities.  If the Sidechain becomes too large for everyone to run, we could have extra sidechains attached to the parent Sidechain or directly to the Bitcoin Mainchain. The extra sidechains could be customized to hold limited and unlimited amount of data or blocks. Once the limit is reached on limited sidechains they are automatically locked to prevent them from getting too large for certain people to run as full nodes.
These extra sidechains will rely on the parent Sidechain they are attached to for coins and DAO application, for exchanging the coins to/from Bitcoin and altcoin Mainchains. While the others sidechains could be standalone sidechains with their own DAOs for communicating directly with Bitcoin and altcoins Mainchains.
*Members should self-custody their funds/assets for decentralization sake.

Transparency: The Sidechain should be Open or Public. Some of the benefits of Transparency are, it helps make it easy for Network participants to monitor activities that should be public on the network, and for proving transactions to others.   Private activities of individuals should be hidden from the rest of the network and probably only seen/known by their owners who have decryption or private keys to see them.

Immutablity:    Public data and things of historic values must be kept immutable on the Sidechain. If changes are ever made to any data, the old record must remain unchanged & undelete.

Privacy/Anonymity feature:   Private data on the Sidechain should be hidden from the public or other participants and only be known or seen by their owners. The data could be held by all nodes or the rest of the network in encrypted form. The private data includes participants identity, biometrics, ip address, etc. A participant becomes anonymous when his/her identity is hidden from the rest of the network.

Censorship Resistant:  No transaction by any participant should be stopped/prevented for whatever reason (unless maybe the transaction could harm the network or the innocent)

Permissionless/Trustlessness:  Interested participants require little to no permission to be part of the Network. In regards to Trustlessness, interested participants need little to no trust to be part of Network. So, no participant should be trusted not to fail you or the system even if he/she has high trust score. Every claim should be verified personally or/and by the network. Things should be done such that it is very difficult or almost impossible for anyone to abuse or cheat the system or other participants.. . And that is what decentralization can help achieve.

Deflationary Currency: The system main currency should be deflationary to serve as a good Store of Value. .

Additional principle that needs to be considered:

* Reputation and Merit points: Honest and "economic" Nodes are rewarded with points for contributing honestly to the network and helping to keep it functional. The more good points they accumulate the more opportunities/responsibilities they get in the Network. Fault-less(little to no fault) contributions have more good points.

It says the judge says that cobra must pay 500,000 pounds legal bill to our resident fraudster.

The judge also said that

Quote
participating in the proceedings without revealing their identity would undermine the system of justice and he lost the case by default

How to make karma strike back CSW?  Huh

Cobra should have fought from his natural habitat. If he had been strong in the ideals of Bitcoin he would have won naturally as the truth would have fought for him. He would have simply told the court that anonymity is part of the ideal of his natural habitat and he depends on it for his security. It's part of his right as a cobra. You can't tell a fish that he lost a case for not fighting outside the sea. That undermines the fish chance of survival as he's designed to spend most of his life in water. How could the fish use this as defense whereas he's known to mingle alot with land-dwellers & don't have problem with them ruling the sea?
The best way to defeat anyone who claims to be satoshi is to defend and fight with the Bitcoin ideals which are the truth.
163  Economy / Economics / Re: Thailand to start taxing overseas income next year, including from crypto on: September 19, 2023, 03:20:48 PM
That will less likely affect people who who earn crypto in decentralized manner.
Taxing income from crypto can only be justified if a crypto user is somehow dependent on the country or centralized system controlled by any country to earn cryptocurrency. The lesser you depend on centralized system to earn crypto the less likely you will be taxed. Even if you are taxed it will be lesser than people who are more reliant on centralized system to earn crypto. If you are completely independent of the centralized system then you don't deserve to be taxed.

So, if you don't want your crypto income to be taxed at all, go fully decentralized in everything.
164  Other / Off-topic / Re: Anonymity provides a level playing field. on: September 19, 2023, 09:28:16 AM
.......

...Being anonymous:
-is good and helps everyone grow well by taking down any form of unnecessary competition

-it reduces external fight or confrontation (if you're known the people close to you would want to confront you if you maybe replied negatively to their post )

-it also ensures safety of every member in the forum in the outside world.

-it creates equal opportunity for growth in the forum(this is the major benefit as slated in the topic)

 ............

Ofcourse, it helps reduce biases in workplace and enables people focus on information presented rather than identity, to help them make informed decisions. Many immediately arrive at the wrong conclusions by mere looking at faces or other identities without going through the issues they are presented with.
Anonymity helps others work with people they would normally not work with in real life due to biases or pride

And being anonymous benefits certain kinds of people more and could make them work better without being bothered by people constantly starring while gossiping/thinking about them instead of being very focused on their works or what matters. . Cryptocurrency space seems like a perfect place for such people as it also enables them to be hidden, focused on work, blindly execute justice and do their work without being bias towards any particular coworker, like a friend or love one.

Typical workplaces are not suitable for independent minded and reserved people who likely value anonymity more.  They want to be hidden in solitary space without being bothered by unnecessary distraction/noise.  It gives them great sense of relief to be hidden in public.
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some Countries living behind their century, taking a back sit on BTC evolution. on: September 18, 2023, 04:38:02 PM
Bangladesh, Domican Republic,  Bolivia, Nepal, Ghana,  Algeria and a host of other nations seems not to understand the times and seasons as regards world changing currency BTC, despite being accepted in most part of the world.

I personally think more awareness about  the benefits of trading with cryptocurrencies needs to be created particularly in nations where there are restrictions and banned on cryptocurrencies and also it should  be made more simple for easy use no matter the level of one  literacy. More work is needed. What are your thoughts?

Well, Bitcoin is a Censorship Resistant, Permissionless and Unstoppable system that doesn't really count on the approval or disapproval of any country or person. It's always open for responsible freedom-loving people escaping tyranny anywhere in the world to be part of it. And it's built to protect them as long as they do not abuse/misuse the opportunity.

If you are banned from using the central water supply system, dig a well, rely on rain or natural water supply. They can't be banned or censored.
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does this still count? on: September 18, 2023, 03:50:45 PM
Of course one of the most important things to understand as a newbie in the crypto space is how to secure your digital assets. Therefore I decided to give air gapping a try In other to understand air gapping I tried air gapping an old windows PC today  since I didn't know a lot of technical stuff about the internal components of the computer I decided to uninstall all network drivers on the computer I tried doing this from my windows control panel.
Will this still count as an air gapped device or do I still have to remove the hard ware  networking components from the PC board?
And will it be possible for an hacker to install those drivers remotely?

That could count as an air-gapped device if your aim is to disable anything that makes it possible to communicate wirelessly especially with the internet, but you can't be sure what is going on behind your back though since the hardware and software are trade secret and closed source. However it's better than openening it up to the world yourself. If somehow it gets hacked after a thorough airgapping you could narrow things down to the manufacturer and software makers. But I doubt they would go that route if they know you are knowledgeable in stuff like that as it would  expose what their device and software are capable of doing secretly after thoroughly airgapping it.
167  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you drink alcohol? on: September 18, 2023, 08:13:00 AM
Yes I do take alcohol and have no specific but there came a day I had an assorted of it at same time til now, it was an aftermath because I already pleaded to my God for rescue when it was like the World was indeed rotational just like the Geography would tell as the the houses and everything around was revolving and I thought I was on my judgement day. Lol

I still want to taste one again but I am holding on with my convenant of that God that saved me that year.
Please if you take whatever not fit in for your health and your ability to control, QUIT

Not really for everyone. It could be banned for people who can abuse it or those it controls. The drinkers should be in control and know when to stop to avoid getting drunk or abusing it

Besides, there are good and bad alcohol. The bad is typically artificial(modified or wrongly produced) and should be banned. The good is natural. It should not be banned nor be illegal because it's good. If it were not important for humans/society our CREATOR wouldn't have made it. Certain naturally fermented foods or drinks contain little amount of it. The problem is abuse of good alcohol. It may be banned for certain people while the bad should be banned for everyone.

So, there is nothing wrong in consuming alcohol so long as it's the good one and won't be abused. Better to ban yourself from taking it than wait for government if you abuse it.
When you hear that alcohol (good one) is banned/forbidden in certain countries, you can be sure the ban doesn't affect those who are morally allowed or permitted by our CREATOR to consume it... It's for those who abuse it. But those who are permitted to consume it need to avoid doing it in the presence of people who are not allowed to consume it so they don't copy and get themselves in trouble.
168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank vs Crypto: Are they opposites? on: September 15, 2023, 05:08:40 PM
As long as it's not the kind of banks people are used to. Going through the wrong kind of banks would be like putting a square peg in round hole whereas it's necessary to fashion a round peg that specifically fits the cryptocurrency round hole, instead of using an incompatible square peg or centralized financial system that is incompatible with the ideals of true cryptocurrency which represents the round hole.
The compatible ones have to be decentralized and non-custodial allowing users to have full control over their funds... or rather, not giving them (the banks) full control over their customers funds. The abuse of customers funds which led to the collapse and bailout of banks in the past was part of the reason Bitcoin was invented, and the power to control funds was given back to their owners. Should we then hand over this power back to the banks to abuse again? Well, certain people have done that with centralized exchanges which are more like the centralized traditional banks but we are currently working hard to create decentralized alternatives that can be as convenient and fast as the centralized ones so people don't have reasons to continue to use them.

And don't forget that cryptocurrency exchange/transaction has to be decentralized peer-to-peer exchange, rather than through the banks or intermediaries. Whatever you build on this space should be built according to this principles.
169  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Sidechain & Colored-coins Idea on: September 15, 2023, 09:32:05 AM
Concerning the 2 red links that connect the "Wallet DAO application" with the Sidechain, here:  image loading...
Their purpose is to pass message in between the Sidechain and the DAO on how much coins a user has sent to the DAO pool or has on his/her Sidechain address.
— Once the amount of coins a user sent to the DAO pool is verified it's communicated to the Sidechain via the red link, the users node on the Sidechain immediately print the equivalent amount of coins and it's sent to his Sidechain address.
— When the user decides to send the coin back to the Mainchain, his balance is verified by Sidechain nodes and communicated via the link to DAO. The equivalent amount of coins are released from the DAO pool and send to the user's Bitcoin/Mainchain address.

*It's important to note that the nodes on both the DAO and Sidechain help verify the amount of coins a user has on DAO pool and Sidechain before they allow the coins to be released to the user's Sidechain or Mainchain address. Verification of coins sent to DAO pool is done by checking the user's Bitcoin/Mainchain address the coins were sent from. The Bitcoin/Mainchain address could be linked to the user's Sidechain account to allow for this verification.

170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keeping or recovering seed phrases during or after a natural disaster. on: September 14, 2023, 01:22:27 PM
The best strategy remains that which is according to Bitcoin principles, and that is never to store values or large amount of money in one place or in centralized manner. Create duplicates and store them in locations that are less likely to experience flood-like disasters at once. You could write the seed phrase on multiple corrosion-proof metals and bury them underground in the multiple locations. If flood like disaster washes away a metal in one location other metals in other locations should remain safe. . And you can always replace the one that has been washed off immediately after the disaster.
171  Bitcoin / Project Development / Bitcoin Sidechain & Colored-coins Idea on: September 13, 2023, 03:03:22 PM
A blueprint for building a near perfect Sidechain that is really fast and has the ability to accommodate more chains(both altcoins and extra native chains) with their tokens which are called Colored-coins in Bitcoin language.

We need this for heavy & fast transactions for decentralized exchange, prediction market, defi, NFTs, micro/cheap transactions, etc. It should help the Mainchain remain light and free from clogs due to heavy usage. I personally believe the mainchain should be used mostly for occasional transactions and for storing light data, but if you are a heavy user or want to do lots of transactions then the Sidechain like this one we are proposing should be used.
It's Bitcoin Sidechain that allows users to transfer their bitcoins from the Mainchain to some sort of decentralized wallet application or DAO(a mix between Mainchain & Sidechain) which links the Mainchain to the Sidechain Network. Once a user deposits bitcoins on this dao wallet, equivalent amount of deposited coin is automatically printed and sent to the users address on the Sidechain. The Sidechain coin is pegged to the price of Bitcoin. That's if 1 bitcoin is 30,000,1 Sidechain coin is 30,000.

You can store your "bitcoins" as long as possible on the Sidechain, and a first time Bitcoin user can even buy "bitcoins" from the Sidechain and later have them transferred to the Mainchain.

To withdraw coins from the sidechain to the Mainchain, a withdraw button is clicked, the DAO wallet is immediately notified, it checks the total amount of spendable coins you have in your Sidechain address, deduct that from the pooled bitcoins, automatically generates an address on the Mainchain for you (or you probably type in your choice bitcoin address) and it sends your bitcoin balance there.

This Sidechain & DAO are completely decentralized, anyone is free to run their full node and participate in the Network activities. Altcoin chains can also be linked to the Sidechain via DAO to print pegged altcoins or colored coins and possibly exchange them with "bitcoins" on the Sidechain.
And more sidechains can be automatically created from parent Sidechain & attached to the  Sidechain, Bitcoin & altcoin mainchains via the DAO

Will probably update this post in the future.
Locking it for now.

We should be spending that amount on Opensource phones/OS that allow us to connect with like-minded people with similar preferences.

Certain OS/phones like the one you mention are not pro freedom in developments. And the little freedom and fundamental rights are reduced with new releases until their users nolonger have any.

Lesser freedom means more enslavement to the head or the one at the center whom everything is connected to. When users are more controlled by the head they become as evil as he is and they will be cursed with all manner of disasters.
So, basically the newer ones attract curses or problems to their owners because they will be more connected to the very bad entity in the middle who is so cursed.
I know it would be abit hard to see friends, family and countrymen buying the latest technology while you are left with the old but it's for our own good. The world is drifting fast to the pit and evil makes the drifting faster.

I hope decentralized people learn to live without centralized world and begin to rely more on the good alternatives.  That's what we will be communicating with when freedom is completely gone with choas and tyranny reigning on earth.
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of advice is worth giving such people? on: September 12, 2023, 04:42:09 PM
Knowledge before Investment/money. To minimize losing or wasting your money you need to be very knowledgeable person. Only the right kind of knowledge should be acquired. And the knowledge should be good. Good knowledge solves problems properly, without creating more problems. Bad ones have more disadvantages and little to zero advantages.
Money given to knowledgeable people actually last longer than those given to the ignorants.

It's important to understand Bitcoin before investing in it. Bitcoin investment is safer if you invest according to the important principles it's built on. For example, better to use established Open-source/Transparent, decentralized/self-custody, offline wallets...on clean/airgap devices.  Enough knowledge should be acquired first before putting alot of money into Bitcoin or any good investment. .
174  Other / Off-topic / Re: The Masks Speak by Ben Garrison on: September 12, 2023, 09:12:55 AM
Face Masks are important but not for criminals and slaves. They should be great privacy tools for the innocent to safely navigate through a world movie scene with many watchers, cameras and other surveillance tools monitoring every single move you make. So, one of the best ways to preserve your privacy in such world is to become anonymous or hide your identity.

I'm sure certain elite who were against mask were mostly worried about the security implications. It seems they don't trust the people they govern with the masks...They used "Covid Hoax" and Herd Immunity as excuse to discourage the masks.

I also use them to protect the nose from toxic air and too much dust.
175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alteration of bitcoin 21M cap: Is it possible, necessary or needless? on: September 11, 2023, 03:44:27 PM
Printing more coins than is necessary is a fiat thing and is a way of weakening the Store of Value feature of Bitcoin and making the stored bitcoins of the Bitcoin Community worth-less. You'll need the members permission to do that and make sure they are aware of the implications of what you are trying to do. Whoever does that will be devaluing users stored bitcoins or robbing them, probably to fund something or pay miners more bitcoins. If you print more money than is necessary you are indirectly stealing from others because the purchasing power of their earn/saved money is weakened.

You only could consider that if Bitcoin is too scarce and hard to find or hard to divide(due to divisiblity issue).

...

The hope is that these models will offer an ethical way to study the earliest stages of human life, a period often fraught with complications.

......

The simple cause of this are disturbances, or what I would call Problems (problem = to become disorderly or out of order or to be wrongly placed) in the internal and external environments.
You need alot of stability or order in the system to enable the micro builders do their job well and produce a healthy human. And it's important that the builders are given a blueprint/plan without mistakes from previous generational errors. This part can be categorized as internal factor while the external includes stuff like radiation, bad foods, unpleasant noise, not doing things morally etc This are external factor that produce problems that are recorded as immutable info in your body database and serve as blueprint for creating the next generation humans
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the reasons behind this picture being used to depict Satoshi? on: September 08, 2023, 04:18:16 PM
That's the image of Satoshi Nakamoto.

Don't say Satoshi Nakamoto is anonymous. Saying he is anonymous is like calling him a liar for revealing Satoshi Nakamoto as his name. He emphasize on honesty in Bitcoin whitepaper.

The right thing to say when you are unsure is "whether or not he is Satoshi I don't know". That is more respectful than saying he isn't Satoshi.

178  Economy / Economics / Re: World economy is now being powered by cryptocurrencies. on: September 07, 2023, 03:33:18 PM
If you understand how things work you'll realize that it's impossible for the World to be powered by True Cryptocurrencies. They are not fiat currencies which are under the control of World governments.

For the World to be powered by cryptocurrencies, the cryptos have to be controlled by World governments or system. And once a cryptocurrency is captured and controlled by the world it no longer qualifies to be called cryptocurrency.. . It becomes false cryptocurrency or fiat currency because it has been hijacked and turned into something else that is contrary to the ideals of true cryptocurrency. The problem with fiat is that its power is centralized and can be easily abused while Cryptocurrency power is decentralized and abused is checked by everyone or holders of the powers.

In regards to the question you asked at the end of your post, the simple answer to that is no true cryptocurrency will be allowed to power the world or its financial sector. It has to be currency they control or they won't allow it.  Ofcourse there are plans by World powers to control Bitcoin before using it or adopt it first in hopes that it will be hijacked and turned into fiat currency in the future but that won't work out for them. Another way they could handle things when they find it hard to capture Bitcoin is to Clone/Create bitcoin-like centralized chain or sidechain they control then call it Bitcoin and get majority to use it

179  Other / Off-topic / Re: Sad story of pregnant woman being killed by Police on: September 07, 2023, 09:20:15 AM
Non-lethal weapons or equipments should be used for cases that don't deserve death, but it seems they are mostly equipped with lethal weapons for such situation.
And police need to start by talking to suspects with less harsh tone which could be increased when they refuse to comply. That could lessen the tendency by the innocent to flee due to fear of being killed.
A guilty suspect will likely want to flee even with less harsh tone while non guilty ones will not

Don't curse, my friend...Not good, though I understand the frustration.

The deleted message was really deep but not everyone would understand. It's unfortunate short posts are not usually valued whether valuable or not. So, we try to bloat certain posts that are meant to be short just to please the reporters and deleters.

My only issue with the deleted post is the word "cycle". It's as if it's saying we are guranteed to have rain which comes in cycle. You know how difficult it's when you realize that no rain blessed regions is immune to drought and certain rainmakers have power to cause rain to fall in regions experiencing draughts.
