1041  Economy / Economics / Re: The Largest Crypto Exchanger in Thailand has been acquired by Commercial Bank on: November 03, 2021, 09:45:01 AM
Part of the purpose of Bitcoin or True Cryptocurrency is to help us depart from the old corrupt, opaque, lawless and centralized system not to hand people back to the system. It's really surprising sometimes how people can be used to defend the system that enslave them. No matter how hard you scream in their ears to prevent them from being charmed or hypnotized and taken back into their slave camps as run away slaves, they wouldn't listen because the meat or shiny things in what is used to trap them are too strong for them to resist

1042  Economy / Economics / Re: [Coinbase] Bitcoin Collateral = FIAT Loans on: November 03, 2021, 09:20:00 AM

Personally I have mixed feelings, Bitcoin is being slowly morphed into traditional banking,
or traditional banking practices are being applied to personal Bitcoin holdings. Of course
nobody is being forced to do this, its a choice, how many of us would be willing to
apply for a FIAT loan while handing over BTC as collateral to Coinbase so they can
keep it safe?

Well, this is part of the reasons I keep emphasizing on having decentralized non-custodial cryptocurrency businesses on Bitcoin Network. I'm not doing this because I hate a particular company, or the other. I'm doing it for the good of Bitcoin and its users. We have to also be very aware of the fact that humans can be easily brainwashed in a way that they nolonger remember that at some point in time they used to have a decentralized cryptocurrency, or things used to be done right. I won't be surprised if that's what certain people are counting on to be able to take over Bitcoin.

It's important to keep telling people to fully control their bitcoins. It will benefit the Network if majority or most of the supply is in the hands of their owners instead of few people or companies. That will help keep Bitcoin decentralized.

Better to use secure companies that enable you control your Bitcoin while using their services. If you want to use Bitcoin as collateral, make sure the Bitcoin is locked and controlled by proper multisig or smartcontract, not controlled by the company/people alone or atall . With this, the Bitcoin can only be released automatically to you when the terms of the contract is fulfilled
1043  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the effects of the G20 Summit on the Crypto Ecosystem on: November 02, 2021, 04:44:53 PM
Well, if they are doing this to encourage clean environment I would support, but claiming it's going to cure the decaying/weakening Earth of her sickness won't sell for me.
The problem Earth is going through is simply due to increasing levels of lawlessness.

If you cross the natural line like murder unborn children, abuse the earth, hate people, eat bad foods etc you are contributing to the decay
1044  Other / Off-topic / Re: How cold has it been? on: November 02, 2021, 04:14:26 PM
The weather where I live is typically cold very early in the morning and goes from warm to hot the rest of the day.    The vegetation seems to enjoy it which is what is important.

I think the weather would be erratic/unpredictable in lots of places whether cold or hot. Not basing this on the climate change theory... Just a simple fact about how the world is designed.
1045  Economy / Economics / Re: $1 Billion Science Fund to Use Blockchain Projects to Extend Human Lifespan on: November 02, 2021, 03:35:08 PM
because of religious doctrines that are passed down from parents, I only believe that God has set our age from birth.

"And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years: and he died."  -Genesis 9:29

"Abraham lived a hundred and seventy-five years."  -Genesis 25:7

....

There are old testament figures in the bible who lived to be 500 to 900 years old, if I'm remembering right.

This was criticized.

Until around 2005 when scientific research was published claiming the upper theoretical limit of human lifespan could be 500+ years old.

(This isn't the exact link I was looking for, but close enough):

Quote
Could humans live to 500 years old? Scientists believe genetic tweaks could significantly extend our lifespan

Living to the ripe old age of 500 might be a possibility if the science shown to extend worms' lives can be applied to humans, scientists have said.

U.S. researchers tweaked two genetic pathways in the tiny lab worm Caenorhabditis elegans and boosted the creature's lifespan by a factor of five.

The research raises the prospect of anti-ageing treatments based on genetic interactions, they said.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2523086/Could-humans-live-500-years-old-Scientists-believe-genetic-tweaks-significantly-extend-lifespan.html

I'm not remembering this perfectly. It was a long time ago. This topic has been on the table for a very long time. Without much interest.

Concerns relating to overpopulation should human life be extended have been an effective deterrent.

It's actually about living in a solid "bubble" or aka protective shields surrounding all living things both physically and spiritual.
No amount of DNA tweaking can make a living thing live so long if the bubble is weak. From experience, bubble helps protect people from getting sick, that could translate to living really old.   But I don't want to live that old in this current world.
1046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If the internet is down in the future on: November 02, 2021, 03:12:35 PM
If the internet will be down in the future, the crypto industry will undoubtedly stop as well.
Is the crypto industry the one thing that is running this world?

I dont get the point why everyone is obsessed with the internet shutting down - seriously speaking, if that would happen, then every service being provided that depends on a working internet will also shut down - there will be total chaos in a country and in such a war like situation, crypto is not the primary concern, but people's lives are. Are you all daft that you dont realize this?

And would a government really want such things to happen? Think logically and rationally. There is a difference between being skeptical and being delusional.

In regards to bolded part, guess that's possible in countries that heavily rely on the internet.
I think a true cryptocurrency shouldn't totally rely on the internet in that manner because the internet isn't really decentralized. A true cryptocurrency shouldn't be based on centralized infrastructure otherwise that can be consider a point of failure for the cryptocurrency.

I think some sort of crypto that is backed by physical assets will continue to operate locally without the internet and could operate like xender or similar apps. This shouldn't be too difficult to create. Infact, existing apps could be modified and used for that purpose.
1047  Other / Off-topic / Re: Consider the fact that there are just Two Kingdoms on Earth on: November 02, 2021, 10:16:44 AM
what you say according to faith and in truth will always come to pass...and your words actually terrifies them. If you are in bondage in the Matrix, don't fight the Words. Believe them, They will break you free. Not a good idea to fight what is way superior to anything even the evil entity has ever seen.

Note that avoiding the truth as a slave to the Matrix changes nothing. All that is required is for those who have been freed from the Matrix is to say the truth or think it in faith. No other false gods can make this possible except the CREATOR whose Power has no limit
1048  Economy / Economics / Re: Fuel prices hitting an eight year high on: November 02, 2021, 10:02:44 AM
Making use of other forms of energy is the only way through which the price can come into control.

Ofcourse, but if the alternatives are not local and abundant in supply, high demand could still cause their prices to increase.
I think focusing more on local energy sources that individuals could easily produce themselves can help in reducing the current and future price increase. That's part of the solution actually
1049  Other / Off-topic / Consider the fact that there are just Two Kingdoms on Earth on: November 02, 2021, 09:22:32 AM
One is the Kingdom of LIGHT and the other is kingdom of darkness.
The CREATOR of Heaven and Earth rule over the Kingdom of Light, while the evil entity rule over the kingdom of darkness, even then, the evil entity can't do anything without the CREATOR allowing it.

Here is something that you may not be aware of:
Once you are broken free from the bad Matrix (kingdom of darkness) and become part of the Kingdom of Light, you will actually be elevated above the kingdom of darkness and you are given power over those controlled by this kingdom including the evil entity that controls it.  Don't be suprised that after this stage(after being broken free) that what you say according to faith and in truth will always come to pass...and your words actually terrifies them. If you are in bondage in the Matrix, don't fight the Words. Believe them, They will break you free. Not a good idea to fight what is way superior to anything even the evil entity has ever seen.

*If you are so afraid of kings/rulers who are under the bondage of the evil entity why not fear the ONE who has power over the entity. Fear HIM more. The fear of HIM is the beginning of wisdom.
1050  Other / Off-topic / Re: Mark Zuckerberg and the new programs he develop on: November 02, 2021, 08:57:57 AM
Only thing I worry about is the use of the tech for wrong purposes.
Can be a tool for deception in the hands of certain people. Imagine faking reality so much that the those already under bondage in spiritual matrix will believe it's the real thing. That's alittle bit close to what I'm worry about.
Things like that would be better developed/used in open-source, decentralized, transparent etc manner
1051  Other / Off-topic / Re: As a society,what can we do to effectively prevent child obesity,overweight? on: October 29, 2021, 04:20:09 PM
Ofcourse... You could compare the food situation to someone selling you a bag full of fake gold mixed few real gold and calling the whole thing a bag of gold and probably charging what they would charge for real bag of gold of thesame weight.

I think it's better to call such food fake/bad foods. They just mess up people's mind and body, and make people who ordinarily should be healthy-looking and smart to become the opposite... It should be completely natural, with no synthetic chemicals/substances and no modification.
Good ones should be consumed right too.
1052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Proof of Stake Blockchains and the Global Push Regarding Climate Change on: October 29, 2021, 03:45:48 PM
Problems should be Solved without creating more problems. PoS (Proof of Stake) is meant to be the solution to perceived PoW (Proof of Work) problems of excessive and inefficient energy usage, but the one am aware of only creates serious problems that compromised on the decentralization and security of a crypto network. With this PoS,  you are required to have certain amount of money which is typically hugh,  before you can run full node and take part in full network consensus... not everyone can afford huge amounts to be able to run full nodes and take part in consensus, this automatically weakens the needed decentralization for a cryptocurrency network and makes it vulnerable to takeover by anti-decentralization  forces. In a well decentralized network/system, majority of Network participants who have valueable contributions to make on the Network should be able to easily run full nodes and contribute to the network which helps to properly decentralize the network and make it difficult to becentralized.
Besides, PoS that requires people to have huge sums of money before they are allowed to take part in Permissionless Public Network is not a right consensus mechanism for such Decentralized Network, worst still, you are required to Prove you own the required amount of money (Proof of Stake) rather than Prove you did the Works right(Proof of Work) before you earn rewards... It's a flawed crypto consensus mechanism and shouldn't even be called that. It's actually shameful when you think about it.
1053  Other / Off-topic / Re: Facebook Plan To Rebrand Name To Meta on: October 29, 2021, 03:00:28 PM
Adopting a new company brand for a well established company is rarely a good idea. Idk, maybe they at facebook don't like their current reputation that much? And maybe for a reason.

The more I watched this video named "Everything Facebook revealed about the Metaverse in 11 minutes"

the more it reminded me of this scene from "The Mitchells vs. the Machines"

https://youtu.be/WYzj6y3BN2U
.....
In the film it didn't end up well, it almost caused the end of human civilization. But that's just a film, right? We'll see what happens in real life.

Nice video. I was actually trying to see how useful this is. I think it's interesting, especially the part about working remotely in a Virtual World... that part calmed me abit. Even though I haven't finished the video, I think there is still the possibility of abuse/misuse just like any other thing humans have ever created.
1054  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should i invest in sport car or in a electric car. on: October 29, 2021, 10:59:22 AM
What kind of investment are you referring to, do you want to invest in the building of the car, buy the car company stocks or buy the car itself?
Depends on why you want to invest. If you're anticipating a future price increase or you want to invest due to their potential usefulness in the future,  I would simply ask what will sport car do for you that the electric car can't? Maybe affordability and the ease of refueling your car compare to electric car.
I'd probably go for affordable and reliable/quality electric car that can easily be recharge and last long on a single charge. Such car could be really popular with the masses.
1055  Other / Off-topic / Re: YouTube channels hacked and rebranded for live-streaming crypto scams on: October 29, 2021, 10:30:37 AM
Important lesson from this:

* Owners of youtube channels should be careful who they make deals with, it could be baits by hackers to takeover their accounts.

* Always verify Channels that represent certain crypto companies/personalities are not fake channels.

* If a crypto giveaway, gift or deal is too good to be true, it probably is fake or a trap.

* If the Coin Price tracking Company was actually hacked and they know nothing about it, you should be careful giving out your sensitive information to sites like that next time because they may likely be hacked constantly without knowing anything about it.
1056  Economy / Economics / Re: $1 Billion Science Fund to Use Blockchain Projects to Extend Human Lifespan on: October 29, 2021, 09:41:21 AM
Well the fact that ICH and WHO has made this clear there should not be any research associated with DNA modification or any modification to biological matter which can cause threat to human species makes me think whether this will continue until the end or not.

It's not possible to entend life beyond what has been predetermined by the CREATOR. I guess the ancients like the Pharoahs thought thesame but were decieved.
In a typical setting where people are decieved, the humans will be guaranteed they will live very long or forever on earth but when they die, they are probably replaced with their digital copies or familiar spirits, then societies where those people are from begin to think/believe they heard from their ancestors or saw them when actually what they saw are not their ancestors but familiar spirits or digital holograms, assuming the technology becomes possible.
1057  Other / Off-topic / Re: Facebook Plan To Rebrand Name To Meta on: October 29, 2021, 09:17:55 AM
So, this is about changing the name of the Holding Company (which include Facebook, Instagram, Whatapp etc) to Meta rather than changing or rebranding Facebook name.
I guess they are doing the name changing to suit the kind of Virtual World they will "evolve" into in the future which is called Metaverse

In regards to the question, It really depends on whether he(owner) is doing that to distract people from the alleged PR Crisis, which I don't know much about.
1058  Economy / Economics / Re: Will circular economy work ? on: October 28, 2021, 05:05:04 PM
there are enough people that buy the brand new one as well, it is quite expensive and for some reason all over the world we get to see so many new iphone 13's get sold as soon as it comes out. Which is a proof that if you can't convince people to not buy the brand new one each time it comes out, then you can't make circular economy work neither.
I agree that we cannot convince most people for re-using all day to day things which is specifically true for the case of electronic goods; people love to use the latest versions for social status reasons. If we go this way then I guess we must need to first convince electronic good manufactured for creating more sustainable model which may last for at least 3 to 5 years which again will help people not to go for latest versions on yearly basis (in between manufactures must stop releasing yearly new versions). Overall, when most people agree and work for re-using then only circular economy will be possible.

They should also not end support for old tech like you see with certain software companies. The idea that everyone must "evolve" together to something new and leave the old behind is contributing to the problem.
You will be surprised what people can do with the old if you allow & encourage them to make it better and useful
1059  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wont the amount of bitcoin in circulation vanish? on: October 28, 2021, 04:38:03 PM
Well, it would have been better if people sold to invest in things that are beneficial to Bitcoin. For example, you sell to buy something from people that accept Bitcoin, or use the Bitcoin to buy from them directly. If you need to buy expensive things, better to buy those that earn you more Bitcoin and do not rely on the centralized systems to operate...more like independent businesses.
I think this is better done in peer-to-peer manner on decentralized and transparent platforms.

If everyone is contributing to Bitcoin and not just benefitting from it, we could end up creating robust self-sustaining economy for Bitcoin, as it should be.
*You earn Bitcoin as independent human and also pay independent businesses/people.

1060  Other / Off-topic / Re: How darkmarket admins get caught on: October 28, 2021, 03:36:26 PM
Tried to understand exactly what the darkmarket is (whether they're purely Tor based markets), the definition I got on the internet wasn't very helpful.
I think it's better to avoid such markets if they actually sell dangerous goods and services. Such markets may have been allowed to trap people , blackmail or put people into problems. I guess the most dangerous people thrive there while the ordinary people are easily caught.

You could instead set up a transparent decentralized marketplaces with crypto as currency, encourage Safe Anonymous transactions and allow only things that are moral
