321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is prohibited for use as payment on the island of Bali, Indonesia on: May 30, 2023, 03:03:14 PM
Well, it's their system. They are free to choose what to or what not to allow. We hardly encourage people to rely on the system they control for long-term Bitcoin/crypto usage as it's not sustainable.

Better to do decentralized p2p Bitcoin transactions with people who are completely independent of the system and do not engage in immoral/illegal businesses
322  Economy / Economics / Re: Logic of life on: May 30, 2023, 09:36:03 AM
The logic of life is that you can't earn more than you know,
Any amount you are earning today is 80% as a limit of what you know.

The richest man on earth is earning whatever amount he is earning due to the advantage of  what he knows or  can do.

So, before you can move from earning $100 dollar monthly to $1000 per month,
One of the major thing you must scale up is your knowledge.

So ask yourself, what should I know that can make me ×2 my monthly income?

Seek knowledge always.

*Actually, the truth is the more you use your knowledge (or gifts) for the good of society/people the more good reward you earn.
*The more positive/good effect your solutions to problems have on society/people the more reward you are given.
*The more faultless the solutions are the more good rewards you are given.

If You are given reward you don't deserve, it will be wasted/misused because you won't be knowledgeable or smart enough to use it well or keep it safe. Everyone definitely get or reap what he/she deserves or sow
323  Economy / Economics / Re: If they have the solution, why are banks still failing? on: May 29, 2023, 10:42:30 AM

..............

I have always seen bad news about the cryptocurrency industry making headlines in national and international newspapers. The government and bankers criticize the industry and portray the banks as the only remedy to the financial problems of the world. SVB recorded six straight quarterly losses, why didn't these financial gurus fix the bank? Yet they claim to be the only solution.

The irony of this👆 is that Bitcoin was created due to the crisis in their centralized and opaque system. Many years later they want Bitcoin which stands on its own and has never been bailed out by any government to become like them.
Part of the solutions to the banking sector is to become like Bitcoin/cryptocurrency by building within or ontop of it, and according to its principles. That could even help them realize how little or insignificant they are compared to the Bitcoin Network/System. It's more than mere industry, it's a Nation on its own, independent of other Nations, self governed by fair rules without much issues.
324  Economy / Economics / Re: For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance on: May 26, 2023, 10:49:17 AM
That part of the scripture is actually about becoming profitable with the gift our CREATOR has given you. Better still, using the talents, knowledge or resources that have been given you to produce goods things for the benefit of society.

If You are not productive with the gifts they will be taken away. If you are productive more will be given.

Not a good idea to use the quote for the culture or standard of the world. Don't forget it's a dead world that can hardly produce any good thing or do good.. They need the true light to see and do right.
The quote is meant for the Israelites or Christains.

* The World's culture isn't really fair. Small businesses that use their gift well will likely not get more gift unlike in the Kingdom of Light. They get more blessings or gifts as they continue to do right and grow
325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Fiat - the Difference That no One Talks About on: May 25, 2023, 05:41:42 PM
Op actually exposed what is wrong with the fiat system which I typically call evil system partly due to it's opaque or non-transparent nature which is synonymous with darkness/night he or she erroneously tried to equate with transparent Bitcoin system.

In regards to debt based fiat system you say is the reason fiat put into circulation, Bitcoin doesn't need to function in that manner. It's model after gold which is mined with energy/electricity and put into circulation. The miners don't need to give up their house to own bitcoins. They use electricity to mine bitcoins which become theirs rather than borrowed. So they don't need to return any resource that's worth roughly the amount of electricity expended to mine the bitcoins. Just like gold people use energy to mine bitcoins which become theirs and can be used for the exchange of goods and services. Miners don't need to owe a bank somewhere or become debtors to own Bitcoins. Fiat debt based system is actually part of what is fundamentally wrong with it. Bitcoin system is not debt based. Whatever you decide to borrow is between you and your lender. It's not tied to the system like fiat

The Bitcoin system is quite advanced with inbuilt features to protect members . It already has the so called built in mechanism you are referring to. It's a basic smart-contract which can be used to enforce a contract or agreement between lender and debtor. You don't need banks for that. The smart-contract works inplace of banks.

You do not seem to understands Bitcoin really well. And your writeup generally doesn't really make much sense. I got some headache trying to understand it. Sorry for the harsh words but it's true.
326  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Should we have a two, or even three, tier fee structure? on: May 25, 2023, 10:02:30 AM
Should people who effectively clog the blockchain pay a financial penalty. If smaller transactions ( smaller in size, and not in value), were charged a low efficiency fee, and larger ones had to pay quadruple ( say ) fees, then there would be a disincentive to submit so much rubbish on the blockchain. How could this be implemented? Would it require two mempools, or just approval by the miners?

Sounds a bit unnecessary. Just cut out the middleman and block off the spam transactions in the first place. Problem solved. I think otherwise it would just make people weigh their return profit over their transaction cost loss and spam the blockchain anyway. NFTers are going to scam people for thousands if not hundreds of thousands per NFT. Would a higher transaction fee make them think twice? I don't think it would. Worst case scenario it would only give miners the impression that spam transactions are more rewarding than regular ones. Then those spam transactions turn into priority transactions.

I think they should be able to properly define what spam is in order to identify and reject them.
Spam in Bitcoin context is simply Irrelevant & unwanted transactions that come in quick succession or in multiple amount in a given time. A transaction has to be relevant to the purpose of the Blockchain to be accepted otherwise it may be rejected alone or must be rejected if found to be spam.

Blockchain is purposefully designed for financial transactions or light data.
Heavy NFT or other heavy stuff could be allowed once in a while on a Blockchain but rejected when they became common/frequent.
327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STAGNATION OF BITCOIN PRICE FOR WEEKS on: May 24, 2023, 03:16:34 PM
Bitcoin trading at the current price has nothing to do with what you mentioned. They are a drop in the ocean of what possibly could move the price.
The current market situation is actually a reflection of what Bitcoin was set to trade...which is between 25,000  and +30,000. From now onward (LORD Willing) it will be crossing 30,000 again and never drop below that until it hits new highs.
328  Other / Off-topic / Re: The Bull charges backward before rushing forward in "full force" on: May 24, 2023, 02:59:57 PM
As we are about to reach the end of this current bull market, let's move the price above +30,000, precisely what is in my mind. Once you get there wait a bit for us to cross the red sea.

This is impossible without GOD. All Glory be to HIM alone.

Let's 30,000 becomes the new support, then hit a new high before we end this bullrun.
This is impossible without GOD. All Glory be to HIM alone.

This movement should start from now onward.

All Glory be to the CREATOR of the Universe
329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pizza day reflection, what would it be like to build a city from scratch with btc on: May 24, 2023, 10:35:42 AM
Such city will need to be compatible with the Bitcoin ideals in order to be a success. So, I'm thinking of something close to libertarian society , or perhaps a community with less powerful center with people owning their own water sources in form of private borehole/wells, electricity sources inform of private generators etc. If having companies becomes necessary for water, electricity or things like that then each member of the community will need to own a stake in the companies and contribute to their future growth. The companies won't be allowed to build any stationary facility. Their facilities should be modular facilities contributed by stakeholders within a given standard and they should be easy to move around when necessary
330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The unforseen and likely occurrence in the Bitcoin space on: May 23, 2023, 03:06:43 PM
Good day everyone, base on your interaction with the crypto space , in 10 to 20 years to come, what are the unforseen situation that may be exposed to the Crypto space and what are the right measure that can help curtailed this situation.

Your little contribution can go a long way to save the bitcoins space from  attackers (hackers) who are also working tirelessly to build a sophisticated Technology to break in and cause damage.

We are in a world of continuous advancement, so we should not dwell on the past and current success of this technology and security but further strengthen the system by been ahead of likely future occurrence.

Well, between now and then (10 years) most cryptocurrencies will be crushed, captured, or become part of the fiat system.
Don't worry too much about Bitcoin & few other decentralized cryptocurrencies as they will be well defended and will withstand anything the World throws at them.
There will be fierce and very violent storms ahead but Bitcoin is in Good HAND and is built to withstand them just like the Biblical Ark withstood the great flood & was used to preserve lives and values.
331  Economy / Economics / Re: When will we stop living for the weekend? Escaping the 9-5 life. on: May 23, 2023, 09:23:32 AM
Just do the right kind of works, the ones you enjoy & love no matter the pay and you wouldn't feel that way anymore. Doing such works would be like entrainment or having fun that you may never need a pay time off except for relaxation or rest. Weekend and night rest should be enough time for proper rest.

If you love and enjoy your job you will kind of be addicted to it to such an extent of suffering withdrawal symptoms when you stop working for some days.

332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: obsolete bitcoin investment advices [change needed] on: May 22, 2023, 05:15:40 PM
Investors need to know How to invest, How much to invest, When to invest, etc.
On how to invest, that's probably why they are advised to DYOR.

In regards to how much to invest, we typically advise people to "invest what they can afford to risk".... *what you can afford to lose* should be reserved for gamblers not Bitcoin investors as it's quite rare to lose all your investment to price fluctuations. The risk is in losing part of your investment or not growing it at all.
Just use the amount of money you wouldn't be too bothered about when things aren't going your way.

Finally, it's important to know when to invest. Invest when you are certain that price will go up & stay above your investment entry price long enough. It's important to know the right time to enter and probably the right time to exit the market, when you need to.  You need someone who can predict the market accurately to guide you on this. Such people are quite very few and are most likely Prophets who depend on our CREATOR for such rare knowledge. You can identify them by their consistency and unwillingness to take the credit for their prediction accuracies. They instead give the Credit to the CREATOR of the Universe.

333  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear And Bull Market? on: May 19, 2023, 04:28:21 PM
What is the real difference between bull and bear market and how can one utilize them to make some good profits?

Bull market is market controlled by Bull while bear market is market controlled by bear.
You know which is in control by how much it moved (compared to the other) after a reversal from its lows or highs. You become certain the Bull or bear is in control when the bullish or bearish scale is tilted upward or downward (from the reversal) long enough by its weight while hitting new highs/lows.

If not sure, just buy the lows and wait for highs where you may sell for profits
334  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is chat gpt destroying communities? on: May 19, 2023, 10:39:33 AM
I see a lot posts and replies being drafted using ai bots on many platforms like reddit, discord and quora. Do you think this is a bad sign for the future?
It's about control & replacement just like with the robots.
But that wouldn't be necessary if the world isn't getting dumber.  When the natural light becomes so dime, the bearer looks for artificial light for help. The one who creates & gives the artificial designs it to show things from its own perspective. So, the artificial light users will think like him otherwise they will be replaced. Hope you understand where this is going
335  Economy / Economics / Re: Kraken, UK trade body derides lawmaker description of crypto as ‘gambling’ on: May 18, 2023, 04:53:18 PM
Just replace the word "gambling" with "very risky" to see whether they are correct. Gambling and very risky are basically thesame thing. Gambling would mean that the risk of failure is very high But this doesn't seem to be the case for Bitcoin which has been operating smoothly for over 10years with very little human intervention. I wonder what government regulated system can boast of that. Besides, I haven't read much about people losing their Bitcoin due to the failure of the network/system which has never been regulated by any government.  I also haven't read of anyone losing all his/her Bitcoin assets due to price fluctuations. The risk is minimal even for the newbies and almost little to zero for those who have mastered it.
So, True Cryptocurrency like Bitcoin is actually way safer than what they currently regulate. I wonder what will become of things they regulate if they become "unregulated" like Bitcoin
336  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to teach a child to save? on: May 18, 2023, 09:55:13 AM
They should simply be taught to use the money for things that benefit society/others and themselves. When it comes to spending on themselves, they should spend more on good things they need rather than what they don't need.

You could also teach them to gradually grow whatever amount/gift they recieve by investing them in profitable businesses they don't necessarily have to be involved in.
337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what is the solution to traffic congestion on the bitcoin network? on: May 17, 2023, 05:17:11 PM
Recently fees skyrocketed on the bitcoin network. If we ever want to have bitcoin be more than a meme investment, and to be an actual currency, fees need to be low, and transaction times need to be faster.

What is the solution? More people need to mine? Bigger blocks? Blocks generated more often?

We need some kind of fully decentralized Side-chains or Multi-Chain auxiliary Network with token/coin that mimics Bitcoin price. The Network has to be compatible/interoperable with the Bitcoin System and built according to Bitcoin ideals... Building according to Bitcoin ideals would be like building in a rock, this should keep things as secure as the Bitcoin Network itself.  People could then move their heavy transactions to the Multi-chain Network, lock their bitcioins in multisig accounts or smart-contracts to access equivalent amount of tokens to do all kinds of possible transactions with one another. Once they are done,  their final Bitcoin balances (probably calculated by the smart-contracts that contain their locked bitcoins) are sent to their Bitcoin addresses

He's better off starting small as a beginner until he's experienced enough to handle higher amount of Bitcoin. Or he could learn first or get someone trustworthy and experienced in Bitcoin for guidance if he chooses to start big.

I hope he doesn't give up now. He may try again with small amount or learn how to use Bitcoin safely before buying more. I think he will succeed through a qualified guardian or through necessary knowledge.

340  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is coffee in the morning a habit or an addiction? on: May 16, 2023, 08:22:21 AM
In the modern world, every day I meet people who go to the subway in the morning, in transport with a cup of coffee. It has become popular how to brush your teeth. I wonder if this is a habit of people or an addiction, or maybe society influences you so much that you have to take coffee in the morning?

I think many regular coffee consumers consume coffee due to the benefits they derive from it. Some say it makes the drinkers feel energetic, high, alerted, helps in concentration, etc. These benefits could be necessary to increase the productivity of people during work. And it's important to start one's day with any good thing that helps boost productivity without abusing it.

Coffee consumption becomes an addiction if the consumers can't do without it such that they suffer withdrawal symptoms when they suddenly try to stop consuming it.
