I have downloaded the official Bitcoin Gold Core Client, and it is running fine...

where you download it?

From the offiical website, it just went live:

https://bitcoingold.org/downloads/

i have donwloaded direct on ghithub .. but i need a node list for add ... where can find node list?

I just used this to get going working just fine 78.193.221.106

Do you need to download the whole bitcoin chain too, or only since the hard fork?

You can use the -bootstrap option, and use the 'connect=' option pointing to your regular bitcoin client.

EPIC FAIL LAUNCH!!

Premine greedy devs, lots of problems at launch. Why would anyone mine or buy this garbage?

I don't agree with that. Launch was proper and premine is normal. Coin development, infrastructure and promotion is not for free. Do you believe BTC has no premine? Get real.

Personally I like BTG very much because it brings back the idea of decentralization. It means a lot more that few miners complaining in this thread can realize.
Decentralization is essential to trust the coin and make it less vulnerable. Besides, it will bring a lot of people from zec/eth so enjoy lower diff there Wink

Your assessment of the decentralized mining is completely wrong. While I agree that bitcoin classic is too centralized, especially in low-energy cost countries. Bitcoin cash strikes the best balance and another fork of the bitcoin chain should not be advices. Also we do need big miners behind the currency so non technology investors will participate.

Tl;dr thank you but no thank you

Do I use the same current blockchain I run for Bitcoin so 3 wallets(btg, bch, btc) can all open up on one chain or do I need to copy each chain into separate folders?
