801  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you sell your Bitcoin at $100,000 or what? on: December 29, 2017, 10:23:38 AM
I don't have much of bitcoin to sell it below $100,000 - and will probably do this one year after.
Still have some doubts.. Maybe $200,000 will be a better point?
Please give an advice, your opinion is important!!

PS. It's not a joke. Please be realistic while estimating..
Gonna bring up this topic close to X-Mas 2018.

Forecasts at the end of 2018 are around 55k $. At 100k $ we will wait for a while. I am afraid that the beginning of 2018 may be weak for BTC and may drop below 10k $.

803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best CPU for mining? on: December 28, 2017, 10:55:36 AM
In near future I planed to mining coins. I do not know anything about that. For begin please tell me what is the best processor for that job. Thanks! Smiley
Since you posted it here in Bitcoin discussion, I assume that you are interested in mining Bitcoin because you didn't stated what cryptocurrency you want to mine. Mining Bitcoin using CPU is not efficient anymore even using the latest/best processor out there because it is very slow and can't produce enough hash rate to compete with other miners, and may also damage your computer. Maybe in other coins you can make profit from CPU mining but in Bitcoin forget about it and if you really want to get involved in Bitcoin mining and make profit from it, you have to spend huge amount of money in more dedicated mining hardware like ASIC specifically antminer s9 or avalon 741.

The only thing that pays is to dig an altcoin and replace it with BTC. I'm going to try on this ...

804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you use BTC as a digital currency for paying online ? on: December 28, 2017, 10:36:21 AM
For me, BTC is now helpful in buying things that I do use on a daily basis. I do not have enough BTC to save. At the beginning I wanted to feel the possibility of BTC.
805  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Are Faucets Useful Now? on: December 27, 2017, 11:00:54 PM
With the bitcoin value sky rocketing, have faucets become useful and worth the time spent now?
And not only bitcoin faucets but altcoin faucets too, I think with such high value of every coin in terms of dollars, faucets can no longer be considered as a wastage of time.
What do you think?

It's better to spend time on campaigns. We have much better ways to collect coins than faucets.
806  Other / Archival / Re: Other than me, who else don't have any bitcoin here? on: December 27, 2017, 10:57:18 PM
I  don't even have 1 satoshi on my wallet, mwahahaha

How about you? In case you have more than 1 bitcoin then just don't mention the number but if you have less than 1 which is in satoshi then mention the numbers.

1 BTC is really a lot. A colleague is right. A lot of people who started with cryptocurrency will be in the same situation. 1 ETH is already a lot Smiley.
807  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be hacked? on: December 27, 2017, 09:49:48 PM
You do not have to hack BTC. There are also other threats to bitcoin and other cryptocurrency owners. For example, at the end of November, an application for tracking cryptocurrency rates called Crypto Monitor appeared in the official Google Play store. It contains malicious software that checks if the application of any of the largest Polish banks is installed on the phone, and then sends fake notifications, captures text messages and generally spies. So if you're interested in cryptocurrencies, they can rob you of real money. Apparently in Poland, the left application attracted a thousand people.
808  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have You Been Scammed? on: December 27, 2017, 09:36:03 PM
Opening the page, where the first thing that catches the eye is a big picture of the dollar, a bag of money, gold, etc. - know that the hypnosis process is just beginning. (Why are pictures?) Because instead of the big picture they can be smaller, blinking, colorful - the most important to make them look normal, but subconsciously eye-catching. This is the easiest way to gain attention, i.e. the manipulator in this way increases the chance that you will stay on the page longer and you will be more interesting.
The second issue to be considered is the content, sophisticated way of creating sentences, appropriate word formulation. One of the tricks is to create questioning sentences, examples:

"Have you missed the success of Bitcoin?"

"Would you like to earn more?"

"Invest only 50 cents a day and become a financially independent person"

"A new cryptocurrency better than Bitcoin, you want to make money on it?"

Query sentences are very tricky even though they seem normal, so at the moment of reading the question, answers appear automatically in our head - we often do not realize this process, but manipulators are aware of it. In our brain, a delicate impression of conversation with someone is created, which in turn makes the manipulator approach us. All the more so if the answer is written right after the question, the aim of which is to reach the maximum number of people.

"Would you like to earn more? Surely yes, you are worth it! "

An interesting thing to pay attention to in the case of such texts is the use of wordings meaning "us". So the author writes in such a way as if he expressed your thoughts for you - describing "your" shared thoughts.

"Would you like to earn more? Definitely yes, we will do it together "

It is an illusion of a conversation with someone closer than an unknown person with no face, only words we read.
We also consider:

"I will help you earn", "With me you will learn to earn", "I know / I have a program that you can earn" etc.

The above-mentioned examples are so-called text manipulation, works, but there are even better ways.
809  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am i late to buy bitcoin now ?? on: December 27, 2017, 09:15:04 PM
It is still a good moment. The price next year will be 3-4x higher. You have money, invest.
810  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is going to crash again? on: December 27, 2017, 08:48:09 PM
I hear 10K is the new floor

The PROPHET of Bitcoin said that when BTC was at 19K

You can not predict it. The price is still unstable. True, we will know everything after the new year.

811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Are Now Used in Crimes on: December 27, 2017, 08:35:29 PM
According to a study conducted at a British school, more than half of the still active websites available in the dark web contains illegal content. Researchers reviewed over 300,000 pages, of which 5,200 are still updated and alive. Over 2,700 of these have been classified as illegal because of the content or the possibility of obtaining information, goods or services through them that could be used to break the law.

The vast majority of them were bitcoins, the main or only method of payment. The most popular commodity for which we will pay BTC is, of course, drugs. Often much more expensive than obtained independently on the street, but as stated in the report: it is a purchase in white gloves. Interestingly, the research also found offers of hacker groups that, for the equivalent of USD 2,500, promised to break the desired anonymity of the chosen user and provide us with his full personal details.
812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is changing the world. on: December 27, 2017, 08:28:33 PM
Initially, the virtual currency seemed just another interesting "invention" of the Internet. This was mainly indicated by very low bitcoin quotations when it debuted on the MtGox stock exchange. It cost only 0.063 dollars a piece. But it lasted for a short time. Bitcoin in some periods was up to 1,400 per cent. Every year. It has also broken into one of the largest and most recognizable virtual currency in the world, which even more powerful financial institutions are increasingly counting on.

Bitcoin is a purely abstract concept. It is basically a string of dozens of characters hiding the encrypted code. This currency can not be touched or physically seen. In a simplified way, it can be said that it is a product of a gigantic mathematical operation, which is performed by a specially designed computer program. This currency has no material form, and yet it can be passed on and paid for services and products.

This is a phenomenon.
813  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: December 27, 2017, 08:22:58 PM
2017 is a good year for Bitcoin because its price is still increasing. Another reason why 2017 is another good year for bitcoin is it become more popular, even in dank memes I noticed a Bitcoin reference. Many people become interested in Bitcoin this year.
2017 was one of the lucky year for bitcoin because in this year bitcoin achieved a lot of its target’s a lot of countries and some rich companies have join bitcoin and some of them make bitcoin legal which is very good for bitcoin and in this year bitcoin is going to leave 2017 with good memories because its price is on the highest position which I never see before and I wish that next year bitcoin will be more strong and stable with high price.

The price is shrinking because on a lot of people people bought gifts for BTC. True, the price at the end of the year is record-breaking. Keep it up. I hope that the next year will be better.
814  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin so expensive? on: December 27, 2017, 08:13:59 PM
becuase the demand is so high and the supply is so low its just like vice verca

That's one thing. The second thing is investors. The more companies you will be willing to invest. Now, by the holiday price has fallen because a lot of people have been selling BTC.
815  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin offline transaction like fiat money? on: December 27, 2017, 07:59:13 PM
no it is impossible to transfer bitcoin offline. you can create a transaction offline, sign it and everything (that is how cold storage works) but eventually to "transfer" you need to broadcast that signed transaction over the peer to peer network.

it is like asking "if there was no internet/phone connection in the shop, can i still use my credit card?". you obviously can not. the pos machine needs to connect to the bank servers and check your balance and transfer your money so that you can make the purchase.

I agree, but that does not mean that it will not be possible in the future. As if wallet offline recorded transactions? Something like checks.
816  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin so expensive? on: December 25, 2017, 10:11:22 PM
Bitcoin is so expensive if it will be converted to my country's currency it will cost hundred of thousands.
Why bitcoin worth that much even its only a cryptocurrency can someone give me an idea.

A better term is that it is valuable and not expensive. It is a kind of asset. Like securities. czemy is so much worth? He was the first and thanks to this he has a strong position.

818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may not be number one for long on: December 25, 2017, 09:57:22 PM
ETH has a lot of work to do this. The plus is their number. 6x as much as BTC. However, the price of the entire capital is 69kkk $. BTC 228kkk $. This is a huge difference.
819  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret about bitcoin on: December 24, 2017, 08:07:44 AM
In 2011 my friend kicked BTC. He did not know it very much. It was a shame to spend 3k $ on the equipment. Now he is rich and I regret Sad It was not until BTC started to be interested this year, when the price was already quite high.
820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in 2018 on: December 22, 2017, 08:33:11 PM
The futures markets may have caused some issues for us in the short term, but long term I think will provide some stability to the coin.  Provided the transaction fee issue is addressed I'm pretty bullish for BTC in 2018.
Bitcoin will do much better in 2018 because the dramatic price change in Bitcoin will lure more investors to the currency system.

You can not be sure. According to me, the price will drop to 5k $ after the new year. Now most people sell and do not buy. Therefore, the price will continue to fall.
