I made a video trying to show what the future of bitcoin will look like. Since the altcoin market in totally blowing up upwards, I'm getting a bit scared that it will go down again soon. It's not a healthy growth, is it? So, for me a safe harbour of wealth and stability is bitcoin, that's why I keep up the weight at ~30% in my portfolio. Personally, if I'm in a coffee shop or any store with some people, I pull out my wallet and subtly show them my Xapo debit card. Then they get curious on what kind of card is that since it doesnt look like the usual Mastercard or creditcard. Then I explain it from there on. What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.
Actually, explaining bitcoin to a teenager and children is very difficult. However, you can explain it slowly and step by step to make it understandable. So if i put the Ledger in my computer and with the wallet on my pc i sent it to the wallet on the Ledger usb then they the coins are gone from my computer and stored on the usb?
the coin or bitcoin is not a physical thing like fiat to transfer from one place to another. a bitcoin wallet is a place to keep they keys. these keys are used to spend bitcoin, bitcoin which exists in form of transaction outputs stored on the blockchain and blockchain is held by every person around the world who is running a full node client. so in short you keep the keys on Ledger or paper wallet, etc and then use that key for spending which is known as creating a transaction and signing it. A couple days ago I transfered enough from my bank account to buy 1 Bit coin. While waiting for the $ to make it from the bank to the exchange I had $75.00 invested so could use it to practice with. Keep in mind that I had no experience with bit coin trading and my past day trading did not go well.
Today I saw that SC (Siacoin) was above 10% and volume was above 10,000. It was also very active pumping up and down. I did four buy and sell trades, not aiming for much more than 5% profit on each one and increased my $75.00 to $91.00. It was a great leaning experience. Also very humbling because on the first trade I made a mistake and lucked out.

That's great experience, do that again to make more profit. Many people can make profit on first trade but not for long, sometimes not disciplines and too greedy become their big mistake. I suggest stop trade for today and start again next day, enjoy your profit because maybe you'll have different experience tomorrow. Learning by doing is the best way to become a good trader, develop your skill with another altcoin or currency with another situation. Hope you'll get another profit & good luck. My first day of trading was very worst and I do not want it happen again so I study all the things about how become a good and smart trader. As far as I know in my country there are no restaurants who accept Bitcoin. As far as I know there are some cafes and bakeries but that is also something for a start. But during the tourist season lot of tourists are asking for the places where they can pay for the food or drink with Bitcoin, so this will have to change in the future.
Accepting bitcoin in restaurant is a nice idea to all bitcoin users. But I think there are no restaurants who accept bitcoin as payment of their costumer. I think in the coming future it will be accepted as money when you buying something in store, restaurants or any kind of commercial establishment. I hope this idea would happen in the future. |

I would have waited till it hits 50k$. Because 50k$ is a highly viable and realistic expectation for bitcoin. 21M Supply x 50k$/btc = 1.050.000.000.000$ market cap for bitcoin. 50k$will probably happen before every coin gets mined so we can expect the market cap around 900billion $. Which is nearly as big as APPLE.
I can easily tell bitcoin has the potential to become (at least) as big as APPLE, so i would definitely wait.
If I have 10 btc in my online wallet I will it hold and wait more time to sell it.Having 10 btc in your wallet is nice because you can use it in your business. Also I prefer it in trading to get some gain more profit. If I have 10 btc I will invest in any in any investment sites to get some income. But the thing I would do I have 10 btc is to hold because I think in the future the value of bitcoin will increase. |

If you are asking what are the features to be a good investor then you should read some inspirational stories of successful people who are now billionaires. And I can that they do have similarities, they have courage and they are not scared with the risk that they are going to take. Because as long as they know what they are doing with that investment then can be successful with it. Making money from money is a good idea. You need an enough capital to earn money from money and investing will help you to gain more money from money but it need time to wait to gain that money. I guess bitcoin is best way to earn money from money. |
