881  Economy / Economics / Re: How Long Crypto market will take to recover? on: September 29, 2018, 02:09:31 PM
We all know this year is one of the worst year of crypto, market is dead and new investors are in fear to enter,  My portfolio is 75% down as compare to January. How long this market will take time to recover?. I am stucked in holding.
It will take a long time but after that I know that there is a big improvement in crypto. Crypto is facing a lot of triumphs it will be difficult at first but I know it can surpass it because I truly believe in crypto. Well just like you I am also stucked in holding because I know its the only way to have a better future.
882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold On for Dear Life on: September 29, 2018, 01:29:16 PM
Hold On for Dear Life = Bitcoin's strategy to hold by moving a number of assets into a Bitcoin wallet - to stay safe until it's decided to use it or sell it.
Investors who put their money in digital currencies like Bitcoin must be patient to face the fact that the latest trends show a decline in cryptocurrency values. Even so, this does not necessarily make Bitcoin owners panic and rashly release all of its assets in digital currency.

Increasing and decreasing markets are reasonable because they prove that the market has many fans and the market is very active. Some people cannot tolerate the rise and fall of the value of Bitcoin. "If it makes you see the roof at night for no reason, it's better not to have it at all." that's what I think.

Undeniably, digital currency is the future. You have to prepare it for years, we have seen how much the initial price of Bitcoin was launched, until now.

The following is a graph that shows bitcoin prices from 2012 to 2017

I will still hold the coins I have, and still trust in Bitcoin.

Yes I think the same way too. Holding will be the best for each of us, if you want a better future then holding is the answer especially now that the price isnt that good. Maybe bitcoin will not change the world but it may change you life for better and that is one of the best trait of holding.
883  Economy / Economics / Re: How did Crypto help you out? on: September 28, 2018, 08:09:55 PM
This question is especially for those who have been into crypto for a long time. How did cryptocurrency help you, most specifically financially? Did you earn more? Gain more investment? I do have a friend who wants to get into crypto but he does not have a lot of savings in his bank account or any major investment. I told him to save more before getting into crypto because they still have mortgage and car loan to pay. Do you think crypto will help him out to?
Crypto help me in my financials because I earn enough money to provide the things that I need and I can say that it has a huge impact on my life. Of course it may help him out to with your help because he's a beginner who need some guidance and support.
884  Economy / Economics / Re: What i believe will come on: September 28, 2018, 03:04:34 PM
The Future will be great and we might live in a world where everything will be Crypto. We are going to be our own bank, and manege our finance ourselves, without a bank account

i Truly Believe bank will disappear completely because they do not act in the interest of people . they created money out of thin air and enslave people with debt, and credit.

The fiat system will no longer exist with the system base on debt, developed countries are technically in bankruptcy a nation cannot be sustainable with a system base on debt.
The crypto revolution is something that will be an astonishing accomplishment and replace the power of printing money from central power. this new generation will not use fiat money anymore and will have tokens in many wallets from the decentralized world

the world will not be the same anymore and everyone on the planet will have the same opportunity to participate in the global Economy.

I dont think that banks will disappear , because even if bitcoin is popular there are still many people who thinks that bitcoin is a scam. But I hope that someday they will understand bitcoin and get interested on investing. And maybe in that day they will regret that they didnt invest before.

https://www.livebitcoinnews.com/4-in-10-americans-will-never-invest-in-bitcoin-says-latest-crypto-study/

I've known some few friends who are into forex and stock investments. When they've learned that I engage myself into crypto trading and investments they discouraged me due to bitcoin's price volatility and unpredictable fluctuations. All I can say to them is that I only invest an amount that I can surely afford to lose and taking huge risks will definitely compensate you good returns as well. I bumped into this article saying that 4 in 10 Americans will never invest in bitcoin, which is somewhat realistic but still history can really tell that bitcoin has changed lots of millennials who took the risk and profited when bitcoin value skyrocketed to almost $20k last year.

So with this article it shows that there is still high percentage of Americans that is willing to take risks to invest in bitcoin just to make some good profit in the near future. What are your thoughts regarding this one? Share me your thoughts.
I agree with you , if we really want to get the profit we want then we have to risk . We must risk. Its the only choice to achieve your goal or to be successful. Everyone who is living their lives to the fullest have sacrifice and risk just to achieve their dreams so why not us?
886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At this time buy and hold bitcoin smile in future on: September 28, 2018, 01:28:16 PM
I think this is the right time for getting a good profit in the future. I want to give to advise that it is a chance for the investor, now buy bitcoin and hold for some time and you know what to do you can sale your bitcoin when the price is high.
I agree with this , me myself thinks that this is the best thing we need to do. At this time many people used to panic selling. Its a good time to buy and hold bitcoin. We can achieve our desired profit if we choose to hold and wait patiently
887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Panic sellers, please head for the exit (and don't come back) on: September 28, 2018, 12:42:53 PM
Dear Panic Sellers,

If the news about Google Ads and Facebook, as well as bubble-bursting warnings from "respectable" institutions such as universities, economists, banks, opinion makers, investors and governments have convinced you to sell your coins,

If you let yourself be influenced by the messages and actions from these corporations and governments,

You have not understood a single thing about Satoshi's libertarian dream of decentralization and liberty and cannot cope with the responsibility that comes with these liberties. You were only hoping for some quick profit to sell for fiat... Now that you're losing dollars, you are crying all the way... well... to the bank.

I hope you got out completely and never will return, because I am convinced you are as big a threat to Satoshi's dream as the corporations and law-makers that convinced you to panic sell.

PS: To my fellow believers: HODL.  Smiley
Panic sellers dont believe in bitcoin thats why they choose to panic than to calm themselves. They didnt choose to risk and wait because they think that it can lead to loss of their money. Its nice to see that there is some people who still believe and hold their bitcoin because its nice and worth the wait.
888  Economy / Economics / Re: Does engaging with bitcoins put you at risk? on: September 23, 2018, 05:04:29 PM
We, as physically and intellectually healthy individuals, strive and survive to achieve our dreams, establish our roles in the society and fulfill our needs and wants. But in order to do this, we are also required to be financially healthy. The lingering fact is that money is not achievable as a single candy you can buy in the store. Sometimes, people risk their lives and reputation just to get a handful. Bitcoins are not officially a currency that you can just see in a certain country, that are being utilized and used. So, is dealing with bitcoins and other things related to it also puts us in a risky gamble?
If you really want to achieve what you want then risk. Sometimes we may think that risk can lead into dissapointment but try to be positive. Risking may help us to make wise decision for ourselves. It can also lead into higher benefits.
889  Economy / Economics / Re: DO NOT SELL! JUST HODL - You've not loss any money if you haven't sold. on: September 23, 2018, 03:34:26 PM
Bitcoin dipped to 7500$ and i think now it is danger zone could go to 3000$-4000$ again.
Good chance for newcomers, sorry for those who bought bitcoin at 18,000$ an 11,000$ Cheesy

What do you think? How low bitcoin can go?

Just hodl it
This is the best thing to do now , my friends provoke me to sell my bitcoin and I dont know what to do and then I suddenly realize that I may regret it if I didnt hold it. There is a bigger chance that bitcoin price will rise so why sell it? Well its up to us but I prefer to hold.
890  Economy / Economics / Re: Friends reactions to crypto currencies? on: September 23, 2018, 02:53:52 PM
I was questioned on crypto currencies legalization. I explained the facts happening around. Few received it with convincing reactions and few just ignored it. I really felt bad for the guys who did not care about crypto currencies as I really know the fruitfulness? I happily taught few others about crypto currencies. What was your friends expression when you introduced bitcoin to them?
My friends thinks that crypto is nothing and it just wasting my time and effort. But I tell them the benefits and opportunities that they can get from bitcoin and that makes them realize that bitcoin is not what they actually think about it.
891  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do with the current market? on: September 23, 2018, 02:08:37 PM

Looking at the current market, many people are disappointed in the market price, bitcoin prices stomping at the $ 7000 level, altcoin prices are falling deeply. Recent good news, however, shows that the market continues to grow and has great potential in the future. What would you do this time: Buy bitcoin, buy altcoin or do nothing?
This time I think it would be better for me if I buy more bitcoin because the price is cheap and I will grab this opportunity. I will keep my coins amd hold it until the price becomes good so I can earn may desired profit.
892  Economy / Economics / Re: Asians are the most bitcoin holders in the world. on: September 23, 2018, 01:22:58 PM
bitcoin was born in Asia and the majority of users are also Asians. Is it true that the majority of bitcoin holders are Asians. anyone can tell me
Maybe? But usually countries from asia are still in doubt in accepting bitcoin. Some of people from asia still dont know what bitcoin is and how it is manage. But if this true then okay they hold for their own good and its nice to see if ever that asian people are interested in bitcoin.
893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS IT BAD TO CHOOSE BITCOIN AND BITCOINTLAK FORUM OVER MY GRADUATION CEREMONY? on: September 22, 2018, 05:58:14 PM
Fellow commrades,
It just happened that my graduation ceremony out of college was some few weeks ago but yet I did not attend this ceremony because i needed to watch over my investments in cryptocurrency and also engage in activities of this noble forum. My parents think i am a SCAMMER right now because i am always with my laptop and chatting online. I wish i could explain things to them further but it seems they have already taken side just like the haters of the crypto community out there. But come to think of it guys crypto is helping me a lot and this is where my investments are not some white collar job so was it wrong for me to have stayed home and watched over my investments in the crypto community? Please help because my conscience is really making me feel guilty now but I know i did the right thing.

Pictures of friends can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1623048977762477&set=t.100001522407361&type=3&theater

Yes it is , because studying is one of your priority. In fact you can use bitcoin when you have extra time. You cant bring back the time when you graduate while you can just monitor bitcoin anytime. Well its up to you but I hope you realize your priorities because your parents work hard just for you to graduate.
894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DONT INVEST IN BTC IF YOU CAN'T OR AFRAID OF TAKING RISK on: September 22, 2018, 04:05:00 PM
This life is full of risks and indeed we are all taking part of it. No one knows Satoshi Nakamoto but people have invested in BTC. In our education we even take risk considering the fact that after school you might not get work.

Over the past months people have been complaining about the price of BTC and I think we should all know something very important. If you are a kind of person who is afraid to take risk. I saw some post talking of anxiety about btc investment and was like if you  can't take risks just leave the crypto world cos you might end up getting  Hypertension Grin.

Check this post out guys- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4706131.0
                                      https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4469252.0

Hope I am right guys? Any comments and suggestions.
This is right , people nowadays wants to earn huge profit but they dont want to take any risk. So tell me how can they achieve what they want if they are afraid on taking risk? we must think that even if there is no assurance on what will happen atleast we tried and sometimes it will lead to higher benefits.
895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dealing with Bitcoin or Crypto haters. on: September 22, 2018, 02:34:52 PM
Here's how I have been able to change people's opinion from being haters of Bitcoin to thinking about buying some and even some actually buying some.

I follow these 3 steps/rules that I made:

1. Don't get aggressive:

A lot of bitcoin denier get VERY aggressive about how bitcoin is a scam, don't get aggressive. If they are too aggressive and mad, just change the subject for the moment. No need to waste time.

2. Make them doubt their convictions.

Make them doubt that bitcoin is a scam or doomed to fail. A couple of examples that I use are:

      - This is comparable to when people wouldn't want to use their credit cards online because they were scared of fraud.

      - Bitcoin is far from reaching it's full potential, mass adoption takes a lot of time. This is comparable to when Amazon just sold books or Google was nothing compared to Yahoo.. remember Yahoo? (laughs)

      - Crypto currencies are the next steps in the evolution of payment : Barter -> Precious Metals -> Paper Money -> Plastic Cards -> Digital Money

3. Mention the Coinbase $10 when you buy $100 in Bitcoin and then let it simmer...

Let them think about it, they will so their research or ask around. Most will come back to you to get your code for the referral bonus.

Do you have other arguments that you use? I'd love to know.

ETH: 0xe822Dc108cb78C9137BF2D92429449B97F1415E0

Bitcoin haters are toxics so if you cant deal with them on something then just dont mind them. I will let bitcoin prove itself that it can recover from this deep fall. I think it will be difficult to change their minds about bitcoin.
896  Other / Archival / Re: The Founder of Bitcoin on: September 22, 2018, 01:03:02 PM
Many believed that the inventor of Bitcoin wants to remain anonymous to avoid legal consequences as what happened during 2007 about E-Gold, one of the first digital money (Bernard, 2017). On the other hand, I think it would be better if the founder of Bitcoin will reveal his identity since many countries recognized the essence of this cryptocurrency.

If this might happen, it will contribute for more development of digital currency and regulations in Bitcoin procedures. Also, the acknowledgement must be given for the person who invented the most efficient digital currency in our society.

What are your thoughts?
Satoshi Nakamoto wants some privacy and we need to understand his decision. Do you think it will help bitcoin if he reveal his identity? In fact why cant we just be thankful to him? No matter who he is , he give a huge impact on our lives.
897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen if Bitcoin gets official permission from the government...??? on: September 21, 2018, 05:42:01 PM
Bitcoin is an independent Cryptocurrency that no other third party takes advantage of transactions from two sides. This is a peer to peer transaction conducted by sellers and buyers only. Cryptocurrency transactions do not need to be identified or verified by the recipient of the funds when the funds are sent, that is what makes many people choose to use bitcoin.

Does the government mix in managing transactions for each user?

If the government mixes in managing transactions, will they take advantage of every transaction Huh

What is your opinion.?
I think the number of bitcoin investors will increase if this happens why? Because people thinks that anything related to government is much safer like banks. Of course there is a chance that they take advantage on it.
898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin become centralized sometime in the future? on: September 21, 2018, 04:59:47 PM
As Bitcoin mining is partially controlled by Chinese miners, I have a feeling that sometime in the near future, Bitcoin can become centralized if no solution against this is proposed.

If BTC could manage to bring a solution towards mining centralization by preventing mining pools with the most hashrate to effectively gain control of the network, then it would aim to become more decentralized over the years.

As mining difficulty increases and new ASIC hardware gets developed, it would make it less possible for any average user to mine Bitcoin, thus making it more centralized each day.

Nevertheless, I would like to know your opinion about this, as if BTC becomes centralized, it might cause it to decrease in value, and most of all, violate the principles that it was created for.  Smiley
This is possible , no one knows but in my opinion yes. But I know that many of us that if that happens it will be the end of bitcoin. It will take a long time process before this happens. If bitcoin was controlled by government there will be a lot of changes that will happen.
899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN accepted for Airline fare and School fee on: September 21, 2018, 04:10:35 PM
I'm a Filipina and there's a lot of posts posted on social media that our local airline,  Philippine Airlines and STI school now accepts Bitcoin. This news will create a stir and this will help spread information that Bitcoin is not scam at all. I know in the future there will be more businesses and companies will accept Bitcoin too.

What's your view on this? Does your country accept Bitcoin too?
Wow , why didnt I know this? Anyway im a filipina too and im hoping that some of local stores from Philipinnes accept bitcoin in paying bills. In that way many people will get interested on investing in bitcoin.
900  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DO PEOPLE STILL HAVE CONFIDENCE IN BITCOIN? on: September 21, 2018, 03:25:54 PM
Why are many disturbed about the  drop in the price of bitcoin  Cool. Come on guys, this is the not the time to give up on this amazing digital currency. Although this year has been a very volatile year for bitcoin, but one thing has always remained whenever this amazing digital cryptocurrency goes down, it bounces back much stronger than it was before. This is hope that keeps most crypto enthusiasts like myself who are resilient and have compelled us to develop a strong faith in this amazing cryptocurrency called bitcoin. Please this is not the time to give up on this amazing coin.  Roll Eyes
People continue on supporting bitcoin because they know the benefits they can get from bitcoin. Even if bitcoin is falling down on the market people still have the confidence because they know bitcoin will be fine by the end of this year.
