Share mo naman on: May 11, 2017, 12:08:44 PM
What do you mean?

Heard of home based job sa mga call center companies? I forgot the name of some of the companies but may account sila doon na puwede gawin sa bahay. I have a friend na working from home with that kind of job iyon nga lang live siya so basically voice iyon.

Search lang and goodluck. Malawak ang internet world. Smiley
1443  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Pokemon GO on: May 10, 2017, 05:11:24 AM

1445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One of many reasons why I love bitcoin on: May 08, 2017, 12:39:50 PM
this is one of the many transactions that I received, this was from some small exchange that I was trading there for fun and to learn more about how to use API in my bot and I cashed out all my balance worth $7.48.

and this is my cold storage, which has been taking deposits ever since 2014 Cool:

I love bitcoin because you use it in any kind of transaction like paying bills. Shopping online and buy the things that you want in online market without hassle.Bitcoins is very precious like gold because it has a value that you can buy anything.
1446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin digital gold or digital cash? on: May 08, 2017, 11:49:39 AM
It depends on how everyone as an individual makes use of Bitcoin. I personally see and use it more as something that can be seen as Gold. I am not really interested in using my coins for spending purposes. I use it as a store of value, where my main motive is to keep a large portion of my wealth outside the banking and governmental system. At the same time, the volatile nature of Bitcoin lends itself perfectly for investment/trading purposes, which is also what I am using Bitcoin for. For me the right term is indeed digital Gold.
I think bitcoin is digital cash because you need a wallet to store your bitcoin and if bitcoin is digital gold how can you store it.Some people say that bitcoin is a electronic or digital money.
1447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people use/hold bitcoin in 2016 on: May 08, 2017, 10:47:55 AM
Im interested to know how many people are actually now involved in the bitcoin world, Is there anyway to find out a rough idea of the user base so that we can come to a conclusion on what kind of adoption we are currently at? It seems difficult to gauge since this forum alone has several duplicate accounts from the same people.

. /r/bitcoin has 180k subs to it so would it be safe to assume if we included all miners, users holders and whoever else that we are still at under 1 million users? If this is the case then we still have a long way to go.

Does anyone have any more accurate guesses or way to determine the market?
I think there are lot of people who use bitcoin, because the bitcoin is commonly used in different country so that i think there are lot of people who use it in any kind of transaction and bitcoin are easy to use.
1448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: May 08, 2017, 09:40:36 AM
As we enter 2017, Bitcoin begins with a fresh start making it worth nearly $1000 per coin. Users, banks, and even governments are becoming more interested into Bitcoin, and its underlying technology called the Blockchain.

Now, as we progress into making Bitcoin more scalable and efficient than ever, I would like to know what are your thoughts for the pioneer cryptocurrency in 2017?

If all goes well for Bitcoin this year, it might increase its value more than $1000, as well as become closer to being used as a mainstream currency. What do you think?  Smiley
My thoughts about bitcoin this 2o17 the value of bitcoin will increase and you can use it different kind of transactions like you can pay bills, you can buy the things in online market easily.
1449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: May 08, 2017, 02:03:53 AM
Issuing Banks are supporting new Program Managers that are entering the Bitcoin space, see Shift Payments program issued by MCB out of New York.  One line of thought is comparable consumer products; landline telephony.  There was a dramatic shift of consumers from landlines to mobile 15 years ago.  Eventually a new demographic emerged that skipped land lines completely.  In the same thought line with Bitcoin globally supported, and smart phones continuing to bridge financial service gaps, "self banking" is a reality to end consumers (non innovators).  Brick and mortar financial institutions are on the decline...  Small banks will use this opportunity to grab marketshare by playing within CFPB and OCC recommendations of OFAC and CIP.  Larger bank entities will not want to lose their market share.

Just look at the job opportunities on Ladder for example, Senior Vice President of Cryptocurrency Development.  The banks are posturing for acceptance.  Fidelity, Chase, etc... nobody is going to go in front of their Board of Directors to say we missed the boat.

This is bigger than customer deposits at your nearest Wells Fargo.

Time will tell.

EDIT:  Im in the US and grammar.
I don’t think so because the value of bitcoins is always increasing so that the interest on the bank will also increase. In fact some bank accepts the bitcoin but I think there are exact amount of bitcoin will accept.
1450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning Bitcoins on: May 06, 2017, 05:11:14 AM
I am fascinated by Cryptos, do you think it's feasible that I can actually earn bitcoin without investing fiat. Your thoughts?
Yes you can. But its same like earning fiat than, or harder actually.
You have to work hard and earn it, if you have skills, you can provide your services and earn bitcoin. If you have something to sell, you can sell it for bitcoin.
But if you think you'll only accumulate with micro earnings and signature campaigns and other similar stuff online, then you're earning will be very slow. You'll be spending year(s) even accumulating your first bitcoin with its current price.
So suit yourself, buy if you can, and if you cannot or don't want to, then work hard and smart.
There are many ways to earn bitcoins like invest your bitcoins in investment and just wait. You can also earn in trading trade your bitcoins in market. Lastly join in any signature campaign so that you can earn bitcoins easily.
1451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: May 05, 2017, 12:05:34 PM
Bitcoin is something radically new. Nothing like Bitcoin has been possible until now. I would go so far as to consider it sui generis; "in its own class".  This makes it important to understand what Bitcoin actually is before we try to describe it to others.

We're getting a good handle on the code, and of course on Bitcoin's function and utility, but what words should we use to describe Bitcoin itself? There has been some debate in other threads [mostly my doing] over how it is like/not like money, cash, dollars, etc. I'd like to start this thread by focusing on the term "money", and play Devil's avocate by asking for your best arguments that Bitcoin IS money.

My legal dictionary states "In usual and ordinary acceptation it [money] means gold, silver, or paper money, used as circulating medium of exchange, and does not embrace notes, bonds, evidences of debt, or other personal or real estate." [cites omitted]

Wikipedia says "Money is any object that is generally accepted as payment for goods and services and repayment of debts in a given country or socio-economic context. The main functions of money are distinguished as: a medium of exchange; a unit of account; a store of value; and, occasionally, a standard of deferred payment." [cited omitted]

Webster's Online Dictionary defines money as:
    • 1. The most common medium of exchange; functions as legal tender; "we tried to collect the money he owed us".
    • 2. Wealth reckoned in terms of money; "all his money is in real estate".
    • 3. The official currency issued by a government or national bank; "he changed his money into francs".
    • 4. A piece of metal, as gold, silver, copper, etc., coined, or stamped, and issued by the sovereign authority as a medium of exchange in financial transactions between citizens and with government; also, any number of such pieces; coin.
    • 5. Any written or stamped promise, certificate, or order, as a government note, a bank note, a certificate of deposit, etc., which is payable in standard coined money and is lawfully current in lieu of it; in a comprehensive sense, any currency usually and lawfully employed in buying and selling.
    • 6. In general, wealth; property; as, he has much money in land, or in stocks; to make, or lose, money.
    [links omitted]
    [/list]

I maintain that per these definitions, Bitcoin cannot possibly be described as "money". And further, I think that those who do describe Bitcoin as "money" are doing this community a disservice.

But that is just my point of view. Are there any that can convincingly argue otherwise, that Bitcoin IS money?

I think bitcoin is money because you can but the things that you want in online market.Bitcoins are commonly use in many transaction like business, investing, and trading so I think the bitcoins is money.
    1452  Economy / Economics / Re: how i start a bussines with BTC on: May 05, 2017, 06:39:49 AM
Hi guys Smiley i want to ask you and if you have personal experiences on how i can start a bussines using BTC?

the exact same way you start a business with USD, EUR, JPY, CNY, RUR,...!

bitcoin is also money but in a different form.

for starting a business, you first come up with a plan, an idea for the business then plan more about it.
then start thinking about funds, you either have it yourself or you ask some others around you to become your partner or invest in it.
then if it is a local business like a bitcoin-coffee-shop, you find a place and rent it or if you have the money buy it.
if it is online, you start hiring people to do different things, such as programming your site, doing the security, either implement receiving bitcoin payment yourself or sign up with something like bitpay.
    then you start advertising...
    then profit(?)
For me starting business is nice because your capital will be doubled in some way.Using BTC in business will help you to gain more profit because the value of btc will depends on the market.
1453  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: May 04, 2017, 12:47:57 PM
Well i think you should do trading with your 2.5btc so that you can make profit from it and it will grow weekly and soon you will have lots of money.

What kind of trading? I don't know too much about it.

I think he is talking about day trading, which means you speculate on bitcoin's value on the very short term. I wouldn't advise doing that cuz it's a gamble really.

However you can read crypto news and speculate on different altcoins. When a certain project is about to release an important product if you buy just before it's likely that the price of that coins will go up.

For example recently MAID developers said they will release a MVP ( minimum viable product) within a week so if you buy now with your 2.5 BTC there is a good chance that your coins will be worth more in a week, the important thing to remember is not to be greedy and always get out with your profit before the price crashes back down.
I think as much as I can to get more bitcoins and me deposit it in investments sites to gain bitcoins even though you need more time to wait but it’s a good chance to save my bitcoins for my future.
1454  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin User Poll #1 - Age - how young are you? on: May 04, 2017, 12:28:27 PM
37 here hehe, I wish I learned about bitcoin earlier. I wish I got a thousand of it while it was a few cents before.

I think this is the same regret of every bitcoiner here Tongue

    Yeah, right!?

Hindsight is tough to reconcile. But as I remember it, back when BTC was trading at $10 or $100 it seemed so much more difficult to acquire (outside of mining). Back then you had to wire money to a random site to be able to get it over to Mt Gox or the Blockchain. Of course now the effort seems totally worth it but back then it seemed pointless.
Am 36 and from Africa. I hear about bitcoin for the past three years and since then, try to fashion out how to get it, for in my heart I believe since the day I had about it that is going to be a precious something in future, but my limitations then, was were to buy it without bank transfer, knowledge on were to store it and who will buy them from me if I want to sells it. I was able to make millions of satochi today rendering services online and I am very ok by it. From the part of the world I come from, you cannot get payment from services you rendered online through PayPal and that render my efforts uselessness, but  i can appreciate my efforts now getting payment for my services through bitcoin.
I am 17 and from philippines. My classmates helps me how to use bitcoins and how to earn bitcoins easily. I think bitcoins will help me to buy the things that I want and I will use it for business. For me bitcoins is very precious because you use it as money in online market.
1455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: May 04, 2017, 12:05:48 PM
Welcome to Bitcoin and to the Forum!

The questions you're asking are great ones. However, they're also questions that you can find answers to REALLY easily on this forum or Google. I'd encourage you to do some reading here and then come up with some more specific questions.

I can help get you started with some simple answers.

Why would I invest in bitcoin? All sorts of reasons ranging from pure curiosity to love of new technology to investment diversification. Bitcoin is used as currency to buy things and as a store of value, i.e., a place to house your savings with hopes of value appreciation or hedging against the depreciation of stocks or savings held in fiat currency. One example often used is that of Cyprus. Are you familiar with the country of Cyprus and it's severe monetary crisis from a few years back? It was so bad that the Cyprus government controlled how much money their citizens could take out of their banks. Think about that. That government telling you that you can't access your very own money! How scary is that? Bitcoin offers an alternative. No government (currently) can seize control of your bitcoin, this represents safety and security.

What's the difference between bitcoin and dollars? Bitcoin isn't regulated by any government. It isn't created "out of thin air" as fiat currency is. There will only ever be a finite amount of bitcoin, which controls it's value. Once all bitcoin is mined there will be 21 million in existence, that's it. No one can ever create more (as is done every year with fiat currency). When fiat currency is created by central banks they reduce the value of the existing currency in the market, which results in inflation of prices. This is why the price of every day things (that haven't changed in 50 years, like groceries or utilities) have gone up in price over time. There's a lot of other differences, but it's better for you to read up on them.

Why would I gamble with bitcoin? I don't, but if you want to you can gamble for significantly smaller portions of money (like cents as opposed to dollars or tens of dollars). And you can do it from the convenience of your computer.

Here are a few links for you to explore:

Feel free to respond with other questions. I think you'll get better response if you educate yourself a bit first and then come back with more specific questions.

Have you bought any bitcoin yet? Do you have a wallet yet? (If you don't, PM me and I'll set you up and give you some bitcoin)

    Good luck to you!
Bitcoins is electronic or digital kind of money while real money is made from paper.Bitcoins don't have exact value like real money and the value of bitcoins will increase or decrease depends on the market.
1456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][QAU] QUANTUM PROJECT - Connecting markets on: May 04, 2017, 10:04:13 AM
Quantum project has no connection to qtum. We started the project last year and have been developing the system ever since under the name of Quantum project. After the qtum came online, we were thinking about changing our project name, but decided to go with the original name at the end. This decision might hurt our reputation in the short run, but we believe it will not affect our business in the long term.

Quantum project is not a regular crypto project that promises future development in exchange to investors’ funds. We have already developed the trading and arbitraging systems and are already using them. We wanted to take our operations to the next level and decided to start this project. That is why we have no roadmap listed here. We are starting an already developed system and only need funds to efficiently make markets.

We are only accepting bitcoins because it makes distribution system more transparent as there is no fluctuation between different currencies. We have no preference on what protocol to use for the issuance of our tokens. At the moment the best option that works for us is Ethereum.
Quantum project is very nice and they developed there system to make more funds that needs to construct a markets. The Quantum project promise that they develop their project for the future development in exchange to investor's funds.

Bitcoin is destroyed because China owns it?
Does it matter if most miners are in the USA or now China?

Agreed we know that there are so many big farm miner in china but we can't just say the china control the mining system because there are also many big company miner's in other count.
1460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 100 Ways To Earn Bitcoin on: April 29, 2017, 05:54:56 AM
    "11. Predictions"? How it works?

Perhaps you should differentiate the first spot "trading" in different options because each of them are very different and I have realized that a successful experience in altcoin trading, for example, can't guarantee a similar performance in Forex trading, which is my preferred option to get bitcoins.

Yeah i guess it also trading or something like buying a stock thensell it when the price become high. I guess it mean predictions but it is also trading you need investments for sure.
