I have been compiling a guide (for everyone and my team) on how to protect yourself from online scammers here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3415026.msg35714276#msg35714276

Its very detailed which is helpful for everyone especially for those people who's still doesn't have enough understanding on how they can secured themselves from scammers. We need to be very attentive and aware because we can find scammers everywhere that is the reason why sometimes we need to do our own research before making decision. Thank you for this, it enlighten me.
663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: characteristics of fraudulent projects on: September 23, 2019, 02:57:31 PM
I feel that all criteria that you have listed can help to detect a scam project, but the real problem is that big scammers are acting like professionals and it is extremely hard to mention any of these by their attitude. However, even such projects are stealing money, so we need a better way to detect them.
Indeed, its difficult to find which is not the hoax or the better one between them because you can be deceive by their words. Some of us had some trust issue regarding about some stuffs like this, and that is the reason why we need to be cautious and attentive because they are everywhere. They take advantage on a person they think is fool enough to fall for their tricks.
664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if SOUTH KOREA SHUTTINGDOWN BTC??? on: September 23, 2019, 01:35:08 PM
This is still a 'what if' so no one knows what the outcome will be, mind you i don't pray for such to happen because i know how helpful korea has helped crypto, they have better adoption rates than that of Europe countries.
Indeed its still unpredictable, but we need to be cautious every time and prepare ourselves if that happens. Now, its good if we stay positive because it won't help if we overthink it. We know that bitcoin had face some issues before and it was able to overcome it, bitcoin has the potential and ability to pass it.
665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Regret In Changing A Bet Have You Experienced on: September 22, 2019, 07:31:39 AM
Well.... It's just a part of the game! And although we regret because of our wrong choices, we should know that it could have been the other way around too, you might have choosen the other option and then if you lose, you would regret more because of not following your intuitions! Hence, just going with the intuitions and acceptance that win and loss are part of it might lessen the regret. And it's not the players fault, no one knows what will be the result of a game till it ends Wink
Indeed, that is the reason why I prepare myself for the unimaginable outcomes of my plans and choices because you can't even trust your own prediction. Besides we are still having fun despite of losing, but it depends if you acknowledged it. That is gambling, there is no guarantee that you will always win sometimes you have to lose to improve yourself and your tactics.
666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: German Government adopting blockchain strategy on: September 22, 2019, 05:00:54 AM
Another nation to adopt blockchain will have a huge impact to all the crypto users as it will help us to grow bigger and bigger even if we are doing it one step at a time.

Other countries will surely think it over and over before they are going to follow it, if they can gain something from it then there is no reason for them that they will not adopt it.
You're right, they will surely accept it if they can get benefits from it. If it can be beneficial to the both country and people, but there is no still assurance that they are going to support  or acquired it. People have different mindset and perspective, maybe its possible but it will be difficult because most of them don't have enough understanding about crypto.
667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Match 365 soccer prediction online. on: September 21, 2019, 02:07:30 PM
I haven't used this specific app but sometime ago I used to download a lot of this kind app and what they had in common was that they had a ton of annoying ads and almost 0 predictions.I think that is the reason why many people have given only 1 star in the last few days.
I'm actually not familiar with it but there is something about it that makes me curious but because of what you have said, I think I need to take it back. Well because if its not doing its purpose, what is the other reason to use it right? If it has some bad reviews and feedback from other people then probably it means that there is something wrong about it.
668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: JPMorgan Metals Desk Was a Criminal Enterprise says U.S. on: September 21, 2019, 12:31:40 PM
Why would he not be anti-bitcoin, when it is glaring that everything he has been doing is a scam which bitcoin will surely block when people start using bitcoin and also, he wants to get famous by being an anti bitcoin so that he can shill his own project that he will use to defraud people.

JP Morgan has always been a criminal which I have always known through his actions, and I really believe that the believe of people in bitcoin is really making things quite difficult for him in his illegal business deals, which is why is actually fighting against the bitcoin and it is a good thing that he has been exposed, all those fame he built by castigating bitcoin will really be a thing of the past now as people would not more pay attention to him.
Indeed, well they think that hating bitcoin might help them get some benefits but they don't even think that they are just making their situation worst. Do they actually think that hating bitcoin has a huge impact? maybe it is but bitcoin is able to face problems in the past years and I know that it can handle any challenges. People nowadays choose to do something bad but its okay because no matter what they do, they have to suffer and face the consequences.
669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Books On Cryptocurrency on: September 21, 2019, 10:28:48 AM
My personal recommendations:

If you want to learn about Bitcoin's technical aspects:

Andreas Antonopoulos - Mastering Bitcoin
Kalle Rosenbaum - Grokking Bitcoin
Jimmy Song - Programming Bitcoin

If you're more interested in the economics of Bitcoin:

Saifedean Ammous - The Bitcoin Standard

For a short, overall introduction to Bitcoin:

The Little Bitcoin Book (Multiple authors)
I can't wait to check these out! i'm interested about books about bitcoin because I know that it can help me by improving my knowledge and it can enlighten me for a lot of things. Some of us are still confused especially newbies, most of them are still searching for some site that can give them enough understanding but now they can easily learn it by reading some books. Its a fun way of learning something new.
670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking some trusted bitcoin sports betting site. on: September 20, 2019, 02:02:45 PM
you should try www.winbet555.com  very good platform, with good OdDs  Cheesy
Well you're a newbie and we can't really trust a gambling site unless it has positive feedbacks and reviews. Nowadays a lot of people are using it just to promote their site without even providing enough information. I don't underestimate it but i'm looking forward to check it, just making sure and cautious so I can easily avoid falling into some scam sites again.
671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Online Casino has the Most Fun Games? Recommendations? on: September 20, 2019, 01:30:43 PM

I don't know what casino games might fit your criteria to be considered as "fun" games for you.

We have different preferences in the first place and I doubt you will really test and check all the games mentioned here.

You can see the set of games offered by those crypto casinos if you will browse it directly on their sites. No need to register just to check what games they offered. In most of the cases, it should be under "Casinos" tab or "Casino Games" or something along those lines. For what are those casinos, the list is just one search away.
Indeed, in fact we have different gaming needs and that is the reason why we are the only one who can tell if its a wonderful game and if it fulfill our needs and what we are expecting. Well actually i'm playing different gambling sites and play different casino games just to satisfy myself during my free time.
672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are to be blame on: September 20, 2019, 03:19:15 AM
If you put it in a whole context, I think scammers are not the only one to blame, maybe we should also blame ourselves for not doing enough to prevent on not becoming a victim of these kinds of deceitful acts though I also think that these experiences will give us valuable lessons to make us more successful in this industry.
I agree with you, because if we are just being careful then we are not going to fall into scam and besides we have to face the consequences of our actions. We need to accept that we are making some mistakes and we have to learn from it. Its really important to have some knowledge because it can help us to make the right decisions for ourselves.
673  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Any Landlords in the UK Accepting Bitcoin\CryptoCurrencies for Rent Payments on: September 19, 2019, 02:11:49 PM
There are actually landlords who are accepting bitcoin as form of payment for rentals. I have heard that somewhere in London’s Willesden Junction there is a property developer who is willing to accept bitcoin as payment for rentals. The name of the property developer is "The Collective" and according to them bitcoin payments is a way for them to cater international clients and demands. I cannot give the full details but if you are really interested you can search it on google and it will appear.
No wonder why it was accepted, bitcoin is indeed has the potential to give opportunities and benefits to us. Its amazing when they finally acquired on using bitcoin, looking forward to see more information about it and news like this because it can affect bitcoin positively.  If the owner has enough knowledge about bitcoin and on using it, then they can work it properly to get the benefits that they wanted.

675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen after cryptocurrency on: September 19, 2019, 01:22:34 PM
Money changed its shape through the history. As from non-monetary exchange to the need of having money. Fast forward to our current banknotes which are in my opinion slowly dying with bitcoin taking over. Many discussions are being held if bitcoin can be the primary currency in the world. Let's assume it can be. Everything has an end so what do you think will come after bitcoin? What will money look like hundreds of years from now? I predict its gonna be digital of course but I'm interested if its going to be a cryptocurrency or something else.

Honestly, who can tell? We might just stop at cryptocurrencies. We might invent something even better. In the far future, we might not even need money. It can all get very sci-fi when you think about such things right now. Any guess that we could make right now is probably limited by the way we think in this day and age.
You're right, how can we possibly answer that if there are no assurance of the possible things that might happen. Bitcoin has faced a lot of problems and I don't think that it will end easily, it was able to give benefits and opportunities to us so if ever there is something new I still don't think it will change people's perspective. Well we have different thoughts about this and it depends on us if we are going to believe that kind of prediction.
676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nigerian crypto educator returns $80k in bitcoin recieve by mistake. on: September 19, 2019, 12:49:15 PM
Well done, Keith Mali Chung! many will follow his good deed.

@muslol67, what's the relation of your post to the topic?
Indeed, its because he did the right thing. That is the kind of people we need to respect because of their honesty and nice behavior, it can be the reason why people will adore him. We can really underestimate people on a country without knowing what they can do, we can't judge it just because it was reported negatively.
677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoins have been around from the start on: September 18, 2019, 02:58:09 PM
If i am right shitcoins have been in existence since the earlier days of coins like bitcoin and litecoin, some coins came into crypto space as early as 2011 and they vanished into thing air, failed project or scam maybe, but now that crypto is been heard of all around the globe so what do you expect? scammers will invade of cos but these won't stop good projects from been born even when 90percent of projects are failing, my advice is just be sure of what you are investing on, make sure they have what it takes and have it at the back of your mind that its still a risk you've taken, anything can happen
You're right, and now it is difficult for us to identify the best and trusted one. People especially newbies must know how to be careful nowadays because scammers will do anything just to get the benefits they wanted. We need to be careful like whenever we are making decisions on investing because we can't predict the possible things that might happen and we need to think in precisely way so we will not regret it.
678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Pishing Scam Goes Wrong on: September 18, 2019, 12:55:46 PM
Its very surprising how some people can just decide to give a try to something they knew anything about,i guess that's why they keep falling for this kind of cheap tricks, same thing is happening to newbies on this forum, they don't care about learning first and they want to make quick money which makes them do lots of mistakes before they start learning
Its because newbies are still lack of knowledge and they need some guidance, those scammers should face the consequences because its was their choice in the first place. They are just putting themselves into some sort of trouble, people nowadays must be aware in this kind of scam to be prepared and be able to avoid it because scammers are everywhere.
