1181  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: December 18, 2013, 12:03:04 PM

Together forever, brothers!
1182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / PSA: News and new accounts on: December 18, 2013, 11:57:40 AM
My last thread demonstrated my point beautifully, but I just want to be absolutely clear here:  This forum (and r/bitcoin) is being trolled by a horde of new accounts posting essentially the same things and linking to the same obscure "sources".  Somebody or some group is taking advantage of the language barrier between the East and West.  It worked.

What's happened around here is similar to the SA mob in 2011, just applied to market manipulation instead of merely to troll.
1183  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 18, 2013, 11:32:42 AM
Who is still in the green at these prices? And who made a huge loss?

If I go out of the green, then it's bad.
1184  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 18, 2013, 11:27:13 AM
sorry to those who sold at that bottom

we're not there yet.

I sincerely think that a significant proportion of new accounts created in the last week or so were strategically created to profit off of what was happening in China.  What's been going on around here with all the poorly worded news posts, with links to the same thing (over and over), just smells like a tactical maneuver by somebody.  It feels like the SA mob in 2011, which is what I've been trying to demonstrate with my recent shitposts.  The force is strong with the noobs, though.  So, here we are again.
1185  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 18, 2013, 11:23:17 AM
Ask yourself one question.   What do you think people on the East Coast of US will do when they wake up?   Say WOW those are cheap coins.   Or, panic in the streets?

I live on the East Coast.  I just woke up.  And......[shrug]....I've gotta go to work early today.
1186  Economy / Speculation / Re: It happened. You cant deposit in BTC china & OkCoin through banks now. on: December 18, 2013, 04:49:46 AM
SELL.
Right Now.

If you cant deposit through banks, basically most speculators would retreat. This is not  about 3rd party payments company, this is about banks. We may expect a bigger sell off later.

And it means the gov is more serious than we think, this may kill the exchanges in china in the long run.

It's just a hint for you guys to be prepared. If you made a profit by this message, then it's not in vain.

This is the other warning thread I made before the last sell off:

Jokes on you, I already sold all my bitcoins at the top of the June 2011 bubble because it was obvious even then that this whole thing would totally fall apart once china completely bans bitcoin, as we now know it has from numerous legit sources.
1187  Economy / Speculation / Re: It happened. You cant deposit in BTC china & OkCoin through banks now. on: December 18, 2013, 04:39:20 AM
Dude, I totally beat you to this horrible factual news.  I've been posting proof and sources since yesterday.
1188  Other / Off-topic / Re: Alert: Bad news, from sources! 嚇人的話 <---Proof on: December 18, 2013, 04:28:25 AM
In all seriousness, there actually hasn't been ANY bad news from China yet, at all.  "News" so far:

China doesn't consider Bitcoin a currency and doesn't allow financial institutions to treat it as such.  Uhhh....duh?!  Was anybody with any clue whatsoever actually expecting them to?!?!

China isn't allowing payment processors to handle Bitcoin transactions.  Uhhh....duh?!  You know what else they don't allow payment processors to handle?  Gold and Silver.

All news so far from the Chinese government so far have actually been encouraging, not the other way around.

Both these China news stories that "crashed" the market were no more than clever Chinese knowing if they dumped right at that time, people in other countries would panic and start selling as well, then the Chinese could sweep in and double their bitcoins by buying back when it dropped in half.

All you people panicking are being played, 2014 is going to be a huge year for Bitcoin.

Shhhhh, I'm teaching here.
1189  Other / Off-topic / Re: Alert: Bad news, from sources! 嚇人的話 <---Proof on: December 18, 2013, 04:10:59 AM
Enough with the FUD already, it's getting tiring and you're cluttering up the forum...

This is not clutter, this is frightening truth, which is further confirmed here at the official PBOC website!  This is amazing!  I can't believe it's all coming to an end.
1190  Other / Off-topic / Re: Alert: Bad news, from sources! 嚇人的話 <---Proof on: December 18, 2013, 04:01:52 AM
dafuq

I'm just posting what everyone else has been posting around here for the past 48 hours, just in a more coherent form so that everyone can clearly see the proof and sensibly understand why they should sell all of the their bitcoins now.
1191  Other / Off-topic / [FUD] Alert: Bad news, from sources! 嚇人的話 <---Proof on: December 18, 2013, 03:57:46 AM
We all know that some really awful news has been fully confirmed here by the Chinese Ministry of Source Confirmation at the PBOC.   Officially, the facts are as follows (I'll provide with sources where possible, google the rest for proof):

(1) Bitcoin cannot be bought and sold.  This is absolutely true in China as of 48 hours ago.  See the section titled "壞事嚇得互聯網賺錢"
(2) China plans an international committee to prevent all banks, worldwide, from interacting with the word "bitcoin".  This was also confirmed by some twitters.  Unfortunately, they were quickly deleted, but the head of Paypal confirmed this 2 hours ago here.
(3) Satoshi appears to have been captured.
(4) China has plans to shut bitcoin off, not just in China, but worldwide.  I can't find the link for this one, but it's a chinese website called "Sinai" or "Sinu" or "Sina" or something like that.  Just google it, you'll find solid proof.

It looks like this is the end of bitcoin.  If you can sell and get your money out, you probably should.  Quarkcoin is probably a safe investment for now.
1192  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 17, 2013, 06:25:03 PM
It is going up in the short-term only to go even lower by next week or so. We are eventually headed to the $400-$500 level - maybe slightly lower.

Probably much, much lower, now that the absolute worst has been confirmed by sources and by official PBOC statements.  Get out now.
1193  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: China Bitcoin exchangers banned on: December 17, 2013, 06:22:21 PM
the complete forum is full of noobs that predicts the end of bitcoin.

i say: welcome noobs  Tongue !

Yes, I am new on this forum so you may call me noob Smiley

A "noob" like me is coming with facts : http://www.forbes.com/sites/kashmirhill/2013/12/17/bitcoin-crashes-as-china-cracks-down-further-on-use/

I didn't say that Bitcoin will die. I am just saying that the Bitcoin chinese exchangers will be closed within 30 days.

It's much worse than that, as you can see from this official statement from the PBOC.  They have declared bitcoin illegal and intend on blocking all bitcoin transactions with the Great Firewall of China.  The exchanges must shutdown, and they intend to work to get all banks worldwide, and all 3rd party payment processors to ban all transactions to bitcoin companies or exchanges.  Sources on twitter and coindesk have confirmed this.  Some tweets have, unfortunately been deleted.
1194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China does or doesn't hate Bitcoin ? on: December 17, 2013, 05:37:40 PM
China is "now cracking down harder" not just on Bitcoin but most other digital currencies, including Litecoin. "PBOC does not like it, does not want it to become another speculative bubble here. Tough to fight the PBOC,"

It's confirmed.  I'm reading the ruling on the PBOC website right now.

Can you post a URL link to what you're reading?

Here it is.

Quick translation of a few sentences from sources:  "Flow of state currency into bitcoin must be controlled and eventually stopped.  After the New Year all bitcoin transactions in China will be suspended.  We, at the PBoC, do not like bitcoin.  We do not want it to become another speculative bubble here.  It will be tough to fight us."

Other news sources will be referencing this official release soon.  Looks like we're headed for another leg down after this authentic report.

Are you sure that is the correct link? I didn't see what you wrote.

Yep, that's the right one.  I checked it with sources.  Also, it was confirmed on twitter.  Can't find the link now, I think it was deleted.  But sources confirmed it, so it's definitely true.
1195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 17, 2013, 05:34:57 PM
get ready to panic buy on bitstamp  Grin

Looks good, Chinas at a wall but buying and a bit of resistance at btce but getting through it Smiley

I wouldn't be shocked if China had a lot of selling pressure compared to other countries for quite a while now, if they really do have to get out of BTC and withdraw.
Did you even read the article

Why would anyone do that when they can just sell everything instead?
1196  Other / Off-topic / Re: This Just In: Chinese President Rumored to be replacing Yuan with Bitcoin on: December 17, 2013, 05:32:42 PM
I heard the Illuminati blackmailed the President of China to tank exchange rates so the Bilderburg Group could buy enough coins to 51% attack Area 51 and free Zaphod Beeblebrox from his carbonite prison.

Link from the PBOC website in Chinese or GTFO.
1197  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will it hit $1000 again? on: December 17, 2013, 05:30:29 PM
Bitcoin probably won't hit $1000 again because of sources.

Wait a minute, just wait a goddam minute, I think I'm getting some bad news from sources...

I love looking for patterns.  Most of the time im off the mark somewhat.  But i look all the same!

Just got off the phone with the Ministry of Sources of the PBOC.  They confirmed that the rumors of the past 24 hours are in fact false.  That being said, it's not good for bitcoin.  They will be adopting Quarkcoin as the official currency of China.
