41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How fast can one achieve Crypto millionaire status with meme coin? on: February 17, 2024, 04:43:23 PM
Depends on how well you would ride the tide. We all know that meme tokens are so volatile and won't continuously and consistently increase. Most of times, its market price only increases due to whale manipulation and when there is an uprise price direction with major tokens. This only means that earning huge profit from it won't be easily achieved even if you will increase your capital 'coz the bigger your capital is, the larger your loss could occur as well. You could more achieve this by major token buy low and sell high strategy. Major tokens such as Bitcoin and Ethereum are ones having biggest chances for a price increase over other coins.
~snip~. The recent one I found and still considering is Dogwifhat WIF recently listed on Bitget, Raydium and other cex probably or what do you all think? Can we truly become Millionaires with meme coins?

Well, meme coin uptrend won't last long unlike Bitcoin or another altcoins, mostly meme coins full of manipulation and become exit liquidity in the end. Someone may become a millionaire just in few days with meme coin by investing in the correct one but it's very rare, we should know the risk because it can give you tons of money and it can vanish your money in a day. If you think meme coin that you just found is good with a strong community just invest in there for a short term don't for the long term because most meme coin will fall down when the hype ends.
Yes, most of the time increase is not reaching 10% or above, and decline always follows. Also, it will still depend on your risk tolerance and amount you will invest. If you are just using below $1k, then it will be a long run to reach such desired profit. Short term investments are ones which could generate bigger profit however, those are the ones which cause larger loss as well.
42  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The person who can’t control emotions in gambling will never earn money from it on: February 16, 2024, 07:59:04 PM
I don't agree with the winning percentage by controlling emotions, what I have personally experienced is, maintaining emotional control in online casinos so as not to waste more money, winning has nothing to do with controlling emotions, but if we control our emotions and are not greedy of course we will get results if we win, the mistake is that many people only think that gambling is a profitable place
Gambling indeed is profitable, but only if you are lucky and can manage your bankroll on times you would be winning. Let's say you won a huge amount and decided to re-use it in gambling due to assumptions of earning more. It won't be a bad thing to do if things will be managed properly especially with the amount you are again to bet. If you are betting big due to your winnings, then expect no less than losing all of those profit eventually. Emotions are just a factor to consider in gambling but as we all know, nothing would change with the outcome if you're destined to lose on those bets. Losing is of course normal but if you won't be losing that much of an amount you won't be in a bigger problem. We may all lose but the amount we would be losing will never be the same 'coz it depends on how well you handle risks in this industry and your financial capacity.
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Repeating mistakes on casino games in gambling site on: February 16, 2024, 06:19:56 PM
Most mistakes in gambling happens because gamblers gambles so many times in a week, they get attached to gambling like it's daily job, what OP said about making mistakes when you stay away from gambling is wrong, you make less mistakes when you are not too attached to gambling.

The casinos even want gamblers to get so attached to gambling, this is one sure way they gamblers will keep coming back, and they will make more money this way.

If you are a smart gambler you must not get used to gambling, have fun gambling but don't expect money flow from gambling, you are just sitting on a time bomb, when the time is up you will likely lose everything or get addicted.
I understand your perspective and agree on some aspects. Gambling becomes a daily habit for many, which is dangerous. The idea that quitting gambling will make you make more mistakes is false. Simply put, less attachment means less risk. Casinos thrive on this bond. Model of business? Keep coming back. Its psychology and opportunism, not rocket science. They play gamblers, not the table. Smart gambling - what an oxymoron. To accept this idea, we must gamble for enjoyment without expecting reward. Expecting to succeed is like waiting for a bus at a train station. Fun, not money, is the goal.
Both players and gambling providers are having benefit of the activity. Did someone force us to gamble? Nope, just our initiative on why we are still engaging in this activity despite of the risk and awareness that losing will always be part of the game. They are just with the business perspective of accommodating the demand from the gamblers and that's just how business works. They are not playing gamblers, and instead, gamblers are the ones who 'play' with their fortune. It is normal to expect for rewards in gambling, what's not is to expect unrealistic amount from gambling such as ideologies of becoming rich in an instant. I'm also a believer that gambling should just be enjoyed to kill time but we just cannot stop the drive to do so since that's how gambling is perceived by many people ever since. Just at least manage the temptation of going or crossing the line of the amount you can afford to engage in this industry.
44  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not everyone deserves to hear of your winning in gambling. on: February 16, 2024, 08:12:16 AM
Be careful who and where you talk about your success in gambling, you may just be encouraging an addicted gambler to continue.

I'm not sure anyone is truly successful at gambling. What often happens is that we lose and then win, lose again, win again, lose again, win again, it's like a repeating cycle. For gamblers, losing and winning are normal things, and I believe that when someone gets a big win, there must be a big loss behind it.

So actually there is no problem sharing the winnings, in fact usually someone asks for a tip if someone shares the winnings so they prefer to keep quiet so that no one asks for a tip.  Cheesy
Its an endless cycle and this is something that we should really be that thinking about and this is something that we should really be treating up this way on which there's really those winning moments but with those loses are even more. It would really be just that common that there would really be those people who would really be boasting out their winnings into public as if they are really that true winners
on this space and someone who do really just that making those simple reactions on which we know that as a human being then it would really be just that normal on having those reactions.
We do really mean that much but its not our fault if we do make out some inspirations into other people since its their decisions on how they do play. You arent forcing them and this is why
i dont see such issues.
It should really not be a problem. The message of sharing your winnings is just a gesture of celebrating that once in a lifetime opportunity and everyone should have a freedom of doing so. It is the receiver who is responsible of interpreting and to give meaning of it whether he would take it as bragging or welcoming him to borrow or be hopeful of a tip or whatever comes to his mind; it is just subjective. We shoul not discredit  other people of something which made them happy just because we are not having the same experience. It would be an inspiration to rightful ears but a negative thing for people who are envious and toxic. It is not meant to attract bad people to force you getting it, no one would want such thing and adjustment should not he made by the winner himself just because of threats around. It also depends on the intention of the player and for sure most of us, if not all, are already in the right age and mind, to know when to speak of your profit or not. Just a commonsense I guess.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be very careful and attentive when selling your bitcoins on: February 15, 2024, 07:06:09 PM
Some lessons in life are indeed expensive. There were stories which are somehow alike with this one such as with investors accidentally selling their holdings mistakenly, with the numbers for example they were planning to sell it at $50k then unconsciously overlooking the numbers at $5k. Things cannot be reversed once the transaction has already been filled and it does make sense for such thing. Another is with sending to other addresses and not checking the characters on the recipient  wallet. Bottomline is to be careful if something is precious to you and if you don't wat anything inaccurate to happen into it.

No matter how we look at it, the seller is at fault. Not only with selling but also with buying. There are instances sellers were able to buy at their unwanted market price due to sudden 'refresh' with exchange's home page. Either instance it is, we are the only ones responsible of our actions.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STOP telling people how much Bitcoin you have on: February 15, 2024, 06:05:03 PM
Yeah telling people how much Bitcoin and other assets we have is a suicide. I mean you are just putting yourself and your family at risk. Giving people and idea how much wealth we have you are just giving them a hint and you make yourself and your family a target.
Of course no outsider will know how much bitcoins I have in my wallet except me and my family. Kidnapping is more likely, especially if outsiders know. But one thing is very important if family members know about bitcoins in my wallet then in case of any accident my family members can easily retrieve my left bitcoins and spend them in future for family needs.
Actually it is just unnecessary to do so unless asked by people on the same industry if that one is closed to you. You won't for sure just mention about it out of nowhere 'coz that would be bragging ad irrelevant with them. I do understand the risk of attracting bad people but if they don't know that much then how come they would be having interest of this technology? And if they are also into this industry then it depends on how you will perceive that person; you cannot hide intentions. As much as possible it would be better not to talk about how much you are having, and for sure it won't be a norma thing to just mention it out of nowhere.

Like with some of my friends. They know that I am having investments in crypto industry hut they never insisted knowing particular numbers and won't be having the initiative to do it as well. Even with family members, instances would be different. It is either they become interested of it as well or it will be an excuse for them to borrow money from you. So what's the need to do so?
47  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Difference between afford to lose and can't afford to lose. on: February 15, 2024, 04:32:29 PM
When you are depending on someone for assistance because you want to gamble it means that you are risking what you can not afford to lose. Why because you don't have the money to gamble but someone have to give it to you before you can stake.
But when you have jobs that pays you money so well and you are gambling it means you are risking what you can afford to lose. Why because ones you lose your job will give you another money.

However, many people would say even if you have jobs but you are staking higher it also means you are gambling with what you can not afford to lose. Moreover it's true and I have to dauth but I have a feeling that ones someone that have a good paying job is staking more than what he can afford to lose, there is no different between addiction there.

You are portraying it in a wrong way. Even I am taking a loan but I have the capability to pay it back easily then I can still afford to lose that money.
So taking loan does not directly mean that we cannot afford to lose it. Sometimes we don't the money handy and we do take up micro loans for processing the transaction.
The whole concept about affording to lose relies on one's capability to continue living a normal life while losing the money.
If the amount you lose create hiccups in your life then you cannot afford to lose that money.
Not just because you can pay it, means you can afford it. It's not only like that. Affording something is being ale to pay it without any regrets or any negative feeling. Imagine taking a loan and losing the amount, then will still be required of paying it. Won't you feel bad? If you can really afford it why would you be needing to take a loan?  If you have $100k in your annual savings and would want to purchase a car worth $95k, would you buy it? There will be a side that you will, but also a side that you won't because you will consider the length of time you needed to accumulate such amount. And this is already something you will be able to use unlike with gambling loss that you will  no longer have possession of it.

Therefore, for me, as to how I understand affordability of something; I really take the ideology of having the value 5x over before I use a certain amount. In such way I wil have enough margin of my wealth to not stress about it even fafter consumption of purchase of a certain thing or activity.
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What contributes to a casual gambler becoming an addicted gambler? on: February 15, 2024, 03:19:28 PM
People generally addict to something when they want themselves to get distracted from one thing and we usually call it as escapism.

Let's assume someone who gamble responsibly for very long time in their life but recently they have been struggling in their life whether it's personal or financial issues or just not satisfied with current nature of living may see gambling as one because it's just give an immersive experience once someone gets deep into it and the money factor is the key of falling into addiction as well.
Sometimes it is satisfaction.
For me, the thing that makes gambling addictive is the feeling when you win against being thrilled, somewhat related to how adrenaline works, and this is evident with other addictions in particular with vices. Another drive is frustration. If you are in profit there will be greed in most instances to play more but that won't make you addicted into this activity. You'd play more if you are in huge loss or debt in worse case scenario. The drive to get back with loss will continuosly push you to gamble without realizing that the situation is just getting worse and that you are losing more, since we don't have control of the outcome. If you are losing, then you will, and what more if you are just doing it with compulsion nd just having requital as your primary reason to do so. However, knowing what causes this and that, won't do things. We have to focus more on its very root which is the amount we would engage in gambling. If it is just enough or under your bankroll's tolerance, then you won't have such drive.
49  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why in some religion gambling is forbidden? on: February 14, 2024, 05:13:00 PM
The idea of taking something from other people and deceiving ideologies are what making it a bad thing with religious beliefs. However if we would observe, practices aren't that strict with some religions although it would be against their 'belief', and that's just us being humans by the way. If you are taking it seriously, then it's on you and we just cannot force each of the member or people who are having the same belief.
This question I think should be addressed to a priest or an Imam. They will provide teachings which will not mean to modern people.  But each person has a relationship with their gods and it's up to the god whether he honors them or not, it's their relationship with the god.

If people religiously follow the scriptures, they might just miss the fun. But obviously, people know gambling is prohibited by their pastors but we could just read the scriptures later on Sunday.

I guess it is more dependent with the receiver than with who will convey the message. The message or teachings will be always the same and it is up to you as a listener if you will be consistent of applying those things in your life. Same thing with cursing which is evident to most of the people. There will always be a reason behind whether it is valid or not to majority, on why they still commit such act even if it is mentioned with most of the Bibles in every religion, not to mention moral values.
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most challenges faced by gamblers on online casino platforms? on: February 14, 2024, 04:43:44 PM
Good list, but I only encountered a few from the list; delays with transactions and winnings being held by the gambling provider. Well, inconvenience won't be aided consistently and I'm fine with it as long as frequency of instances aren't that much or is still tolerable. No gambling site is perfect and we all have the choice whether to move from one to another if it doesn't meet our preferences as a gambler. Online transactions inside and outside this industry have inconveniences as well so it is not that much of a surprise for me.
The casino does not like too successful players and tries to create as many obstacles as possible when such a player requests a withdrawal. Often it is written in the agreement that the account can be blocked without explanation, which the online casino successfully takes advantage of. And KYC does not allow you to have multiple accounts.
I doubt that it's the reason for mentioned challenges. Technology itself has its own limitations right? If they would do that on purpose then how wil they make players to stay in the platform for them to make money. They might get profit from doing so but that will only last for a short period of time due to being infamous of such feat.
51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler lost what he couldn't afford to lost and broke his TV after game Lost on: February 14, 2024, 10:19:35 AM
Now he has two problems; loss and tv.
To be frustrated is a normal response to loss since it is an unwanted outcome. Makes sense to say why we need to avoid losing that much and to avoid such feeling. Basically, if you will lose a tolerable amount, you won't feel such way. Why would you be betting amounts outside your financial capacity even if it is a fact that losing will always be a part of chances. Unless you are assured of the outcome, tht is the only instance it will be reasonable to do so, however there's no such thing right? You are engaging to gambling and you should take not of that. The only thing that will determine winning is luck. You can indeed increase your chance of winning by means of strategies however nothing is guaranteed. If you are into sports, this is aso evident. Familiar with underdogs winning against the favored teams or players? That's the logic.
52  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction causes loss on: February 14, 2024, 08:14:50 AM
What will be your suggestion for my friend to recover from the gambling addiction.
Loss is a normal thing to happen and take place given that we are all just 'gambling', and that simply means that we have no assurance of the winning outcome. It is either you lose or win; this is how gambling works. If the outcome resulted to a losing bet then the only thing you could do is to either play again to get back with that amount or to just accept things and move on. In his case, it is better to just accept and learn from it. Chasing profit or recovery of loss will just more likely result to bigger problem. We always have a choice whether to continue or stop already no matter what circumstances there are. He should focus more with how wil he be able to pay his debt with salary, little by little. What matters in this instance is to slowly pay everything 'til it's finished, then move forward. It might seem hopeless at this point for him which makes him frustrated of gambling but that's the only way possible than to continue taking the risk. Never wait or even put yourself to a situation you don't know how to resolve 'coz another problem will just arise.

As his friend, you could only give him advices but it will depend on him whether he would listen or not. You may advise seeking professional help to have him assessed. We are the one to start a problem therefore, it would be us to end it as well.
53  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Anyone +18 Play Gamble? on: February 12, 2024, 11:51:03 PM
If it is sports betting, then I will say anyone can easily make a prediction on games and all that is needed is just the funds to stake the bets with, and at that, they tend to make something good out of it if the luck is on their side.

If it is just to be able to bet then yes, no experience is needed other than the tutorial concerning deposits, stakes, and withdrawing of your funds. But if it concerns winning the bet in sports betting then experience is a mist. Why? 'coz if it is too easy with sports betting aren't we all supposed to be rich by now? Why are there gamblers losing tons of money in the first place? Also I don't get the point if you are just betting for profit  when it comes with sports betting 'coz if that's the case you are just wasting your hours of playing. Either you move to other gambling games which has a more simple core value or idea to come up with positive outcome, then you are free to do so. But if you want to succeed in it, then you'll need more such as getting experience for the better.

Does gambling needs experience or anyone +18, even the inexperienced one can also play? Though playing gamble has a limited age grade or age bracket and the accepted is from  +18 years and there are some casinos hall at the door post, it is written clearly that it is only people of +18 can play. But what about the inexperienced ones, are they allowed to play gamble as well? Or they are also restricted to have the fun? In my observation, there are two elements to participate in gambling. One, you must above 18 years in my country and secondly you must have an experience to play, so I want to know if inexperienced people can also play gamble.

Anyone can gamble as long as they are of the right age with experience or without you can still play gambling. It's not in their rules that if you don't have experience you can't play, that's where all gamblers start, with no experience. When you enter the casino, the guards will not ask you if you have any experience before they let you in. Anyone can gamble as long as you are in the right frame of mind, age etc. Gambling is dangerous so be careful about wasting money.
It is the gambler who would suffer from consequences if he chooses to do gambling in such way. Experience is an immeasurable variable to a gambler. Anyone can start gambling and experience both losing and eating however, not all gamblers are winning big therefore you should ne careful of your bets. Think of how many people became so frustrated on different gambling games and that's simply an example that despite of the enjoyment other gamblers are experiencing, as a gambler you aare also prone of losing money.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A student investing in bitcoin? on: February 12, 2024, 10:14:32 PM
Currently I am a part time teacher in a private college along with my studies, I work very hard to support my university life and my own expenses. I deposit some money at the end of the month. Now having interest to invest in this bitcoin I want to invest here. Should I invest my savings in Bitcoin?
Should? You are free not to do so especially if you have doubts of it. You already said things; that there are people surrounding you who gained benefit from investing to Bitcoin and that instance caught your interest to do the same thing, right? Well there's nothing wrong with being curious of something and for wanting to earn more than what you have with your monthly salary, through investment but be sure to do your own research about it. You said you are a part time teacher and with that I assume that you know how to deal with things first before actually engaging into it. Same thing with whether should you put all of your savings into it. You are also supporting your own expenses, therefore going all out shouldn't be an option. If you really plan to invest then never be too greedy and invest only a portion of what you have so that if there are unwanted things to happen with the investment you chose, you wouldn't be in huge problem. Always manage the risk on everything that you will do.

No matter how good the potential is, for a investment, create your own margin with the risk involved. You are primarily asking questions why you should invest and that simply means you do not fully understand things yet. So what's the need to invest everything right from the start? Investments project profit over time but nothing is guaranteed. If you can afford losing everything of your savings, as a worse case scenario, then do put all of it.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the largest meme coin ever? on: February 12, 2024, 05:59:21 PM
Dogecoin continue to be the largest oldest and the most popular meme coin with the most developed ecosystem.
DOGE and SHIBA are more likely ones to be on top of other meme tokens. Large token supply, wide scale popularity, and demand will simply indicate how powerful these tokens became, from doubts on its audiences. The market value of these memetokens indeed fluctuate big, and in an instant which displays how big meme tokens, are, to handle. Volatility is way bigger than with other coins in this industry such as with Bitcoin and Ethereum. Well, it would be difficult to some investors of these tokens, to understand how manipulation and demand works for every cryptocurrency. Happened that meme tokens are just having their spotlight at this point. I am also great in fun as a fan of this industry, but to those who would be so frustrated of how its market behave, they might have another perspective of the story.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Struggle now to invest in Bitcoin for a bright future. on: February 12, 2024, 04:50:50 PM
Investing is considering us preparing our future and I really appreciate those students who think about investing earlier despite of their situation. Indeed, it was a struggle for us to start especially if we only had a small income but if we really care about our future, we should have to do it. Perhaps, it was only hard at the start but in the later part when we already adjusted our spending habits, that seemed too easy. We don't need to make an excuse because we don't have money but instead, we think about how to grow our income so we have an excess money for this.

One thing about Bitcoin is that you don't need a huge capital to start investment rather you can start investing with 10$ weekly or monthly, whichever option suits you. There are many examples available where people keep investing small amount of fiat in Bitcoin and with time that small amount has grown to give good ROI.
Despite the fact that Bitcoin price has gone up to 48k$, investing in bitcoin is still profitable provided you have patience to keep investing for long term.
It doesn't matter how much you will invest, what's important is to invest an amount if you are seeking profit however, also manage your expectations. High risk, means high rewards and the opposite will go to smaller amount. As we all know, what creates conflict with bitcoin investment is our assumptions as investors. If you are only capable of investing small amounts but hoping for huge returns. Bitcoin has been proven to be a good investment or sometimes better with gold for a shorter period of time due to its high market price volatility. It may not assure high market price increase in an instant but due to the hype and popularity it is creating, we cannot doubt things especially when it comes to its potential. More people are getting interested with this blockchain technology. Future is bright indeed, but always prioritize managing the risk in this industry.
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where Do You Want To Go To If You Win $2 million On Lottery on: February 12, 2024, 03:54:12 PM
I'd probably take a rest for a few weeks with that amount to be able to think of the most efficient way to make use of the reward. I would probably avoid playing more right after winning 'coz everyone is prone of greed. Such thing is normal; money is just a powerful drive to each and everyone of us especially to those who are losing often. I would even understand those who will be fond of wanting for more. However, as we all know, not being greedy is the best thing to do to avoid turing your profit into a huge loss and of course regrets. This is not to close the doors from playing but at least calm yourself down first. The least thing we should do on such instance is to not let our emotions take over our gambling activities or to play for us. It is also a decent amount to start something profitable such as investment or a business that would make your rewards bigger over time.
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Changing initial option and losing the bet on: February 12, 2024, 03:04:42 PM
As a gambler and I do participate on physical gambling, at times this scenario often happens to me. After doing my analysis, checked statistics on games, I have selected option I want to play but when I get to gambling center I will have a thought of changing option or adding  a game  to the initial option I selected and this most time will cost losing the bet.

These acts has cost me from losing bet many times, as a gambler share your thoughts on this and have you been in a similar situation.

I also had this problem many times while I was betting through lotto clubs many year ago.I only learned a simply lesson from this, which is to never change your mind no matter what whispers come to your mind you should always stick loyal to your first decision as that is what usually will not make you have any regrets no matter the outcome because you didn't change anything.I think everyone should do that,to not have any regrets later.

Well, one thing I've learned from gambling is to either stick with your game or to not play at all or just take a break from gambling for that day. If I would be moving to casino games, it would be boring unlike with sportsbetting which I enjoy the most. I do get the idea of taking the risk but if I won't enjoy it as the usual, then gambling experience won't be the same. Either game you play, there will always be a risk involved so my edge is to choose what game will I enjoy doing so if I lose then I won't be too frustrated and full of regrets.

With changing of mind when betting, things are just normal. After all, we are all just guessing the outcome no matter how you analyze the game. You won't have the assurance of winning. Eitherway, you'd have a tendency to lose. It is okay to hesitate sometimes but once bets are placed, just watch how will it go since it would be a waste of time thinking of 'what ifs'.
59  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to manage gambling winnings on: February 12, 2024, 02:02:11 PM
Your opinion is absolutely correct, when we want to start gambling and our beliefs are still in doubt then we should gamble using only a small amount of money, then when we win we need to pay attention that we need to save some of our winnings. daily needs and don't think that when we gamble again using a lot of money, we will win again, even though the success is still in doubt.
It is better to play according to a small budget. If we lose we don't feel like we have lost much and when we win, even though the result is not much, we have to be able to accept it.

Gambling is different, some require using a fairly large budget and some can use a small budget, but whether small or large the budget for gambling is the same, it is clear that defeat dominates, it is rare to win in gambling. but what you say is true, we have to gamble with a small budget, because even with a small budget, there is still a chance of winning, but there is still a chance of losing with the possibility of losing.

In my opinion, there are rarely wins that can be obtained, this is the right reason for managing gambling winnings, many wins are in vain because there are gamblers who win at gambling but they waste their winnings, by continuing gambling and also by increasing the amount of their bet because they are still want to get bigger wins. So that in the end what will most likely happen is defeat and the loss of the victory that has been obtained. In my opinion, when you win at gambling, the best choice is to cash it in and leave gambling to enjoy the win, and if you still want to gamble, it's better to gamble again another day, don't continue gambling when you've won.

What you say is true, basically winning is very rare and difficult to get, only lucky people get it, therefore gambling with small bets will prevent us from experiencing big risks when defeat comes and if we win, manage it. our money to be used for useful and useful things. The important thing in our life is good and correct steps.
I agree with you, when you win, it is better to immediately leave the gambling place, so that we are not tempted and attracted again by the tricks in the casino.
There are always options in every situation as we all know.
If you are betting small amounts, and is not willing to take that much of the risk then expect nothing less than winning small rewards or not winning at all. On the other hand, you may engage with parlay bets and sides, wherein you could bet small and win big but with higher risks. I tend to engage with parlays since you'll just more likely lose, then why not maximize it using small bets? If you lose then it won't be too frustrating and if you're lucky enough then you'd be rewarded big.

When it comes with quitting, for me if you really find joy with gambling then you don't have to completely quit and run with your profit. Money is money and it will eventually be all consumed. You may consider taking a pause and still continue once you are ready. Gambling is only bad if you will be driven by your emotions but if you manage things well, then it would be still fine doing so.

Horse racing, because unlike most sports pari mutuel/pool betting is available in most countries. So you can look on websites on which horse local gamblers are betting and if you think they're more  efficient or they've more informations than the bookmaker you can bet on the favorite horse they've picked.
But there are still gambling sites wherein you can bet on such sport unlike with other sports mentioned by other users. Some have mentioned that as long as the game is offered by gambling providers then for sure there's a hype into it or that game is simply popular but not as widely as with others such as basketball, boxing, and football. Maybe culture plays a key role here as well as availability of the sports to be played. What I mean is establishments of such sport. For example is football in my country. There are only a few football fields in my country which makes sense why it is not as popular as with Basketball, and I think it has the same logic with gambling sites on choosing the sports they will offer; most of the time, they'd go with larger fanbase to get profit of course given that it is business they are running.
As a Filipino, I think it's billiards, snooker and pool would be my underrated pick because I think that it deserves the spotlight the same as basketball and we need a new legend to follow the footsteps of Efren "Bata" Reyes, this is the one sport that I think the Filipinos would be able to get even more recognized than basketball, no need for height requirement, just being really good with your eyes and control in your strikes with your cue and you're good to go plus there's already an underground or should I say a quiet but big group of billiard fans already in the country, the only thing that we need to do is to nurture it like how my country nurtures it's basketball players.
Underrated with other countries but if it is hype and popularity then for sure it does have with that country. However, betting happened to be occuring through peer to peer in most instances with billiards. The idea behind it I guess is the leagues and tournaments conducting with this sport. Leagues are most of the time are not wide scale which ai think is a factor in this example.
