901  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Stay Lowkey lang tayo on: June 25, 2023, 03:33:14 PM

902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How useful is Bitcoin to the youth? on: June 25, 2023, 02:20:33 PM
When I started as a student, I thought at first it's not true at all that I could earn from it so I studied it online from resources such as Youtube or such like this forums. It was hard to start without funds bvut I found out that I could actually earn here without putting money. It's actually useful as you can get extra money without asking funds from your parents at all. You could also support yourself especially if there's needed things you need to buy. It's like a hobby as a student to learn plus learning Bitcoin it's like learning extra subjects that could help you in the future.
903  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's imagine you were the president of your country, How would your Economic on: June 25, 2023, 01:41:11 PM
Bruh i don't know anything about running a country or what, but hearing from your current president responding to the fact increasing rate of the inflation "it's not true, it only risen a little" like bro, every people in this country would be affected from it. It just shows the difference between a rich person running a country to a regular citizen who's concern about the issue of the economy. Maybe if I were a president, I would literally study everything that have a connection to the improvement of the country including the economic status of my country. We can't even hear a news about the president and no action at all lmao.
904  Economy / Economics / Re: Why you should use spare money to invest on: June 25, 2023, 12:58:33 PM
It is good to investment with spare money as people do say, so that when there is price decrease or incurread loss it won't be  a much burden or on you. But the question remains, Is there anything like spare money?

To me there aren't spare money anywhere because every funds has value it add to human life, and this is by solving a particular problem that such amount can settle. It is important to note that their is risk in everything but if you know that you are not out for such risk, that's when the spare money comes to play but mind you, I insist that there is nothing like spare money despite that many people believe that this really exist.

Spare money could be considered spare money when you have extra money that you have after paying all your needs such as bills, foods and even your wants. And despite of all the payments you did, you found yourself still have a extra money, which is enough for you to invest. If you think you can afford to lose that money or like you can risk it then you can call it spare money as you won't need to think about it despite of the situation. You can stake it as you can win or lose in investing depends on your knowledge about investment, which is better than holding it, still saving is good especially for emegency purposes. 50/50 it then it would be good.
905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Having no money to invest in Bitcoin is even better on: June 25, 2023, 12:21:37 PM
Those who don't have money, have all the time to keep learning and reading stuff online about Bitcoin and the crypto space, they have no reason to be in any hurry and it seems they are the ones that avoid the unnecessary dramas in the crypto space because they took their time to learn first.
I can relate here, it's because also you only have time and don't have enough money for it.
That's why I am very proud of those people who start with nothing, especially in cryptocurrency, because in some cases you can have Bitcoins in many ways, like working something and earning Bitcoin, you just need time and dedication. Back in the days, I can say, it's much more easy to earn some Bitcoins.

If you don't have yet the money to invest, why not invest your time to learn for yourself right? Because once you learned Bitcoin you can actually find ways to earn it without even needing some funds. Where you can start from small cuz if you're good enough to make it huge, then you've really learned from your studies about Bitcoin. For me the best way as a student, you can do working student and those funds you could use it for investment, don't be distracted from buying all unnecessary things for you to be financially freedom in the future.
906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Become Currency of Nations in 10-15 Years on: June 25, 2023, 11:24:32 AM
Whales never buy all-in at once. They have a strategy which allows them to acquire Bitcoins worth of millions without you realizing they did, even if they wanted to buy Bitcoin at the current market price, they will as they know their buying's will surely drive the price up of the Bitcoin, so nothing wrong with that too.  I would love if my country accepts Bitcoin or mostly all the crypto payments however I think companies like Apple and Google should be the one integrating it directly to our phones.

Exactly, every whales has group which have a plan to manipulate the market for their own benefits. One thing you can do in this situation is to take advantage of the current situation as they trying to influence the market. It's either join the ride or watch them pump.

In my country, there's a digital app that everyone use for every transactions. With that being popular they are already implementing luttle by little to introduce crypto as they start at investments.
907  Economy / Economics / Re: Fast Transportation Makes Economic Turnover Faster on: June 25, 2023, 08:24:56 AM
This is one of the problem in my country, which affect a lot of people jobs, business and etc. Due to traffic for everyone's transportation, it causes them to be late and get fired from some special occasion or lose big opportunities. My thought about this is that people much prefer to buy a private vehicle it's like if there's 10 people owning a car than transporting them in one bus. It could lessen the traffic as those 10 people would fit in one vehicle. It's actually convenient to have their own car but it would cause a lot of traffic.
908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold Bitcoin VS Hold Gold on: June 25, 2023, 07:55:42 AM
It's still depends on the people prefer ability in these two since it's actually a different investment. Gold is already a good investment even back in the days, meaning it's a good idea to invest here for a long period of time or long term investment. While in Bitcoin where there's a volatility involved where people could take advantage from it in long term or short. So I still prefer Bitcoin if I would like invest in just flip peofit.
909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying cheap is best formula on: June 24, 2023, 02:54:43 PM
To be honest, the cheapest price was at the end of 2022 around the $15k price level, but yes, that was when everyone was screaming because the prices were going down more extreme than usual so not many saw an opportunity at that time. I would probably get close to 90% return on investment today if I had bought back then.

Anyone who has a good understanding of how Bitcoin works knows that investing in other cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, is risky.  Which a bitcoin investor must accept. And investing in Bitcoin carries high risks as well.  So is the possibility of higher profits is also soo big. So if you want to achieve something big, you must take risks

I don't really agree with what you're saying, first of all we need to clarify that when you decide to buy Bitcoin it's not an investment where you have to expect an economic return, because if this is what you expect you should look elsewhere.  The only wealth that Bitcoin can give you is financial freedom, keep that in mind.

In depending on the references of each, I think in this context there is nothing wrong, but you have to see which boat you are using in using bitcoin. I think there's nothing wrong with seeing bitcoin as a source of profit and there's nothing wrong with thinking about bitcoin as a hedge or financial freedom, I think it's all true but depending on where you look at it so it's not debatable.

Yes, it really depends on how a person describe Bitcoin based on their perspective and experiences. If they profited a lot in Bitcoin and called it as a source of profit and some planning to have a long term investment from it so in the future they could have a financial freedom. Bitcoin could really gives a lot of opportunity to the people on how they manage it. But let's not sugar coat it and be biased on Bitcoin there would be a risk involved and won't avoid the losses in the process.
910  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people stay poor? on: June 24, 2023, 10:37:21 AM
I have always wanted to ask this question is it that there is no opportunity or they do not want to get rich
Mate please more to this I am confused here.
I think all humans are destined to be able to have whatever they want, so no one wants to stay poor, because poverty obviously will not be able to meet the desired needs. but to be able to meet all the desired needs, something is needed that can make all of that fulfilled, namely by working or trading. then by wanting to work or trade, it is certain that poverty will stay away, without any intention to do that, don't expect poverty to stay away. why do people remain poor as you ask, because they are lazy by not wanting to work or trade, because laziness will continue to be with the poor situation.
Then you haven't meet some weird people, there are some tribes that don't give a heck about what someone can achieve in their life time if they do this or do that, they will tell you that they are happy and you will see it all on their faces, even you that want the best life and many good things in life won't be as happy as they are.

You can buy someone a car and they will tell you they don't need it, they will tell you they only want to eat and sleep well, I have traveled to some part of the country where they don't want lots of money, they said it attractive anger, envy, bad intent and others, they see money as the tool that get ride of the real happiness.

Which is true, most of the people in the urban area where are mostly influenced by money for you to survive have those emotions you've mentioned which caused by the money. If you've been raised to a community where all you needs are run by the nature and all you need to do is live, then for sure money wouldn't matter for them. You can't call them poor as they don't have the greed for money since they are already contented on how they are living with the nature which is I find peaceful.
911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think it's still wrong selling properties for Bitcoin? on: June 24, 2023, 09:44:29 AM
I still think it depends on the situation of a person since in my case, I would never sell my properties just to invest some money for Bitcoin. I actually having a passive income by just making my properties rental and by those income can be used for investing in Bitcoin or buy another property. If the person have a property but doesn't have enough money to provide for making such rental thing and it's only way to make use of it is to sell, then it's okay. But for sure It would be risky to sell your property to invest in such volatile state of crypto.
912  Economy / Speculation / Re: Take advantage of the price fall. on: June 24, 2023, 06:13:11 AM
Obviously if anyone can afford, they should take advantage of the price drop. Think of it as a discount. When the price falls, invest as much as you can, and if the price goes further down, invest more. This way, you will be maximizing your profit when the price of the coins starts to recover. But you need to make sure you are investing in the right coin. As long as you are investing in good coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and other well known altcoins (I would still recommend only bitcoin), the chances are the price will go up. Alsoyeah, only invest what you are willing to lose. Money that you won't be needing in next few years.

It's the common move to buy low and sell high especially for the beginners. That's why some people use Bitcoin's volatility to their advantage where if the price goes down they could just simply buy since it's more cheap so when the time it increases it's value, they would profit from it. Bitcoin is actually a good coin to invest with, but there's also other alternatives as you've mentioned and people could invest from it depends on their suitabiliy and convenience. Still Bitcoin still consider the best to invest with since it's the root of almost all of the alternative coins. Just use spare funds for investing so you won't be thinking too much whenever you're about to lose the money at stake.
913  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pinas magkakaroon ng stable coin on: June 23, 2023, 05:39:37 PM
914  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We All Know, The halving time will be full of drama on: June 23, 2023, 05:29:24 PM
The market has always been full of drama. It's not like there's drama when the halving is near and the same would subside as the halving has taken place. This is not true. FUD comes and goes all the time. It's not dependent on the halving.

As for the SEC and its filing of charges against Binance and CZ, not only is it totally unrelated to the upcoming halving, it is also not intended to cause a market dump. Neither is it done to scare anybody about Bitcoin so that they would be able to buy it at a cheap price. This is also not true.

You might want to read the interesting opinion of d5000 on this.

True, FUD is always present even without the halving happens. With FUD presents most informations that are roaming to the internet should be always consider as fake or just a speculation. Halving might happen without some issues happening is just the nature of the crpyto to be unpredictable where you might relate all happenings to the current market situation.
915  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic problem, why is fiat difficult to hold. on: June 23, 2023, 04:45:48 PM
The real problem is to make the money work. Earning and saving at least something does not seem too difficult and almost everyone can do it if they wish, but further actions with money cause difficulties. Often, the saved capital is too small for serious investments, and even more so in order to distribute it in different directions.

In addition, the fear of losing everything stops them from doing anything, or people decide to give money to the bank for a deposit, which is also not much better than just keep fiat, since inflation will eat up the purchasing power of money.

We are not taught how to handle money, if you learn it yourself, then you will have a chance to achieve something in this life, if not, then even those small fiat savings that you can save will lose their value.

I agree with you. These days you have to think about how to make money work. Otherwise inflation will devalue your capital. The problem is that there are fewer and fewer good ways to invest money safely. There are risks and restrictions everywhere.

Holding or saving money is actually good especially in a case of emergency, but of course in investing there's always a risk involved if you don't take that risk your money will remain the same which couldn't be good when inflation hits. If you don't make your money work for you then there's nothing wrong about that, still having a passive income is much better. We don't need to be scared to risk our money if we already have the knowledge how to make our money work for us. Just do your own research and if you already build up your decision then good luck it's a win and win situation since you could gather experiences from your losses.
916  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop stressing kids with bitcoin on: June 23, 2023, 04:27:43 PM
Children love to lean new things and that's why the world today is modernized, how will you feel if your younger ones teach their parents or tell them about Bitcoin that will be great right? So I don't see anything wrong with teaching or telling children about Bitcoin.
If I own a school today I will approve a Bitcoin subject in my school.
With the rate at which the number of Bitcoin users is increasing day by day, it seems that we will soon see that Bitcoin will be written on the pages of books. But for this, Bitcoin must be legalized in almost all countries. Bitcoin is still banned in many countries. But even after the ban, people in those countries are using bitcoin and trying to change their own destiny with bitcoin. I think they have managed to change their own destiny with bitcoin.
But for me, it doesn't need to be written on the books, people found it already in the internet. And with the current trend that we are living more on the internet and computer, that was easier for us to access and learn Bitcoin. What we just need is time and someone who would have the passion to educate those who wanted to learn.

And talking about teaching this is kids, I hope we get the point that Bitcoin is suitable only for those who are capable enough to learn where kids are not.
Let them have time to play and enjoy learning in school rather than feeding them with this stressful Bitcoin investment.

It would still be better to start from the book since it teaches the basic knowledge even at the known schools they suggest students to study some books for them to understand easily some topics that are too difficult to understand. Which can be apply to understanding Bitcoin. You can just simply give them the book and let them study and understand it in their own phase, so after they are odne you could just simply teach them the new trends that couldn't be seen to books. That's not actually stressful for them as they understand it without pressure if they have questions then they could ask you.
917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Disappearance of cash and bitcoin as an alternative? on: June 23, 2023, 04:12:03 PM
This is actually a good thread, but as of now I think it would be impossible for Bitcoin to take over to current currencies right now since most countries are depended on it. But I already found some countries that their fiat money doesn't even have value or worthless that they make it use as a toilet paper. You could be called as millionaire and poor at the same time. With this maybe Bitcoin could be a good alternative as the country aren't dependent to fiat money. Only thing they need to think of is how they could implement it when Bitcoin is a decentralized system to the country.
918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Having no money to invest in Bitcoin is even better on: June 23, 2023, 04:06:03 PM
I've studied most Bitcoin investors, those who have money to invest are the ones going around looking for someone to teach them how to invest, the first thing they want to learn is how to use the exchange to make purchases using Fiat on the exchange, they are always in hurry, they have no time.

Those who don't have money, have all the time to keep learning and reading stuff online about Bitcoin and the crypto space, they have no reason to be in any hurry and it seems they are the ones that avoid the unnecessary dramas in the crypto space because they took their time to learn first.

Do not walk away from Bitcoin investment because you don't have the money, it's even better not to have money because you will have the patience to learn more about everything, and when the money comes, you will be able to avoid many dramas.

I don't think that learning about Bitcoin investment is necessary for those who have no money and for those who hardly fulfil their humanly needs. But, if someone has enough money, and still they are only learning about Bitcoin investment, and aren't taking any proper step to invest in it then they will never invest in it because of the fear of loss. The fear of loss is created in the minds of the people who don't trust Bitcoin as a profitable investment, and those people will never be able to invest in Bitcoin because of that fear.

If someone has enough money for investing in Bitcoin then they only need a week or two to learn about Bitcoin and its market before investing the money into it. Waiting for longer than a year or two isn't a good thing for a Bitcoin investment because the price of Bitcoin can go high anytime and the ones who miss it when its price is low will regret that why they didn't invested in it when it's price was already low.

It doesn't necessary but people find Bitcoin has some opportunities that could give to a person despite their current status, let's say some rich people having a lot of money and finding things where they could invest their money, then they tried to study Bitcoin for their money to work passively. While for people doesn't even have assets to enter in this industry, won't even think on studying Bitcoin as they don't know how to execute it without having experiences since it would be impossible for them to gain experiences without losing money that they couldn't even afford to lose. But still it's open to every one to learn so it wouldn't be hurt to study incase they have the money.
919  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will World Economic Depression Affect Bitcoin? on: June 22, 2023, 05:22:52 AM
During a great economic depression, bitcoin should get positive impact on its price. When the government issued instruments start failing, Bitcoin is something that people can rely on because they can't be controlled by government. That's definitely my own prediction. But I believe the sentiment of the common people will be very positive towards a decentralised asset like Bitcoin during a economic turmoil.

I hope the world will not get into such depression because the financial systems are now more resilient towards such things. But it's good to keep on hoarding bitcoins just in case.
During an economic depression, people are striving for survival; thus, investing in Bitcoin isn't their first priority. As you may have noticed, we're already in a state of financial depression; the war against Ukraine is still going strong, which is hurting the economy on a worldwide scale, while inflation is still through the roof. And how has Bitcoin performed over the past two years? Certainly not that great, as you may have noticed. It's still more than 50% below the latest ATH, and while that isn't as bad as it sounds, the market is far from recovering, even though it's showing some positive signs.

True even investors in Bitcoin might sell some of their assets for them to have funds for their needs like food or essential requirements. It's actually good to invest when there's a case like this where there's an economic downfall so when in times of need you can sell and have some money. The worst scenario is when there's a high rate of inflation while the income of a person still remains the same so it would be a survival every day as your salary is only sufficient for your needs. Bitcoin for sure would have been negatively impacted by this issue, but some people take advantage of its downfall and will try to invest in it so that when it recovers they could also earn.
920  Economy / Economics / Re: The cost of living is trying to kill the living on: June 22, 2023, 03:40:06 AM
The cost of living shouldn't kill the living please. The living should find a way to rise above the cost of living. The living should grow their own vegetables and rear theor own animals if need be. The living should find a smart way to reduce their cost. With reality now, the living shouldn't be competing for the latest car, clothes, electronic gadget. The living shouldn't take out a loan at this time. Bitcoin freedom for the living.
The cost of living shouldn't kill the living - wow' that's very easy for you to say depending on your disposition and socioeconomic privilege's. If you're privileged to have access to land to grow veges, rear animals etc, not so many out there are open to such opportunity and that's sad for such people. So at times we shouldn't express alternatives based on our own perspective we should try to think outside our convenience. Maybe then, we can really give an objective suggestions.

Exactly, it just shows how different people's perspectives on this issue and it shows the privileges people respond Smiley .  If you already have the materials needed for you to have a proper living and even save your budget, if they don't have the privileges like connections, power, and wealth, then they could just simply live without killing themselves. Opportunities for these people are limited but of course, they find ways to escape this hell where they live every day feels like surviving. I just think that if they don't have the opportunity then their life could change if someone could give them the opportunity they need. When it comes to this it would be better to take both places before suggesting.
