201  Other / Politics & Society / #ReleaseTheMemo on: January 23, 2018, 02:46:36 AM
Everyone thinks #ReleaseTheMemo is Partisan, but it is not. It is part of a Larger, Historical, Problem within the FBI and CIA. We have all heard "Conspiracy Theories" about "Them", but sometimes there really are people in rooms filled with Cigar Smoke (metaphorically).

Call your Congress person and tell them you want to know what your tax Dollars are paying for the FBI to do

Flast v. Cohen, 392 U.S. 83 (1968)

The "Intelligence Community" uses more Cryptography and Dark Web Applications than anyone in the World, that is why they didn't care what Hillary was doing, they do the same thing all the time.

They used to put like a News Paper or something at your house, with a Clock on the third page with the Hands pointing to the time you were supposed to go sit on the Bench.

Now they use the same Apps they try to tell you not to use because they are for ISIS.

These are articles about the NSA's Program called PRISM, where they use Google, Facebook, Yahoo, etc servers to collect information about you:

If you want to submit a FOIA (Freedom of Information Act request in order to get record from the NSA about you) here is how to do that. The Privacy Act Request is the Normal one to use (the 3rd one here) but you can file both. The top is a sample letter so that you have a template.

Include facts and damages in your claim. Your administrative claim must include the exact amount of money damages you are claiming, as well as enough facts about your case to allow the federal agency to investigate the merits of your claim. Using a SF 95 form will help ensure that you've included all of the necessary information.

The agency has six months to respond. Once your claim is submitted, the federal agency has six months to rule on it. In some cases, the federal agency may "admit" your claim (that is, agree that your claim is valid) and agree to pay you some or all of the money damages you demanded, and you may not need to go to court.

You then have six months to file a lawsuit. If the federal agency rejects your claim or refuses to pay all the money damages you demanded, you have six months from the date on which the decision is mailed to you to file a lawsuit. Again, file your lawsuit as soon as possible after receiving this decision to avoid any chance of having your lawsuit dismissed as untimely.

You don't have to sue until the agency rules on your claim. If the federal agency fails to rule on your administrative claim within six months, you have the choice of either awaiting the agency's decision or going ahead with your lawsuit. As long as the federal agency is still considering your claim, there is no time limit for you to file a law suit in federal court; the six-month time limit only begins to run once the agency has ruled on your claim.

Once you have gone through the procedures listed above -- a process known as "exhausting your administrative remedies" -- you are eligible to file a lawsuit in court to pursue money damages from the government.

Government Agents must be held to a higher standard than other citizens due to the fact that they are acting under Color of Law Bivens v. Six Unknown Named Agents, 403 U.S. 388 (1971)
Color of Law
The act of a state officer, regardless of whether or not the act is within the limits of his or her authority, is considered an act under color of law if the officer purports to be conducting himself or herself in the course of official duties. Under the civil rights act of 1871 (42 U.S.C.A. Section 1983), color of law is synonymous with State Action, which is conduct by an officer that bears a sufficiently close nexus to a state so that the action is treated as though it is by the state.

Types of Police misconduct include false confession, false arrest, false evidence, false imprisonment, intimidation, police brutality, police corruption, racial profiling, surveillance abuse, witness tampering, and off-duty misconduct.
Others include:
1. Noble Cause corruption, where an officer believes that a good outcome justifies his bad behavior.
2. Selective Enforcement, allowing friends, family and other officers to break the law.
3. Abuse of Power, using the badge to get in to places you would otherwise not be invited or allowed, discounts, etc.
4. Police Perjury, blatant lying under oath and/or to other authorities to cover wrongdoing.
5. Violation by Officers of police procedural policy.
Laws intended to protect against abuse of authority include the 4th Amendment to the Constitution, which prohibits unreasonable searches and seizures; the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, which includes due process and equal protection clauses; the Civil Rights Act of 1871; and the Federal Tort Claims Act.

Noble Cause corruption:
Corruption caused by the adherence to a teleological ethical system (ex: By their fruits you shall know them; pulling over anyone with larger rims on their car), suggesting that the person "will utilize unethical, and sometimes illegal, means to obtain a desired result," a result which appears to benefit the greater good.

202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA - Thousands of Wallets Compromised and Funds Stolen on: January 23, 2018, 02:01:51 AM
People want to say "$15,000,000" and sure, maybe that isn't a lot to a lot of people when it is a conglomerate of people coming together, because Bitcoin was Free at first, and then $0.01, and then $0.50 and then $1.00 and $5.00 and $30.00 and $100.00 and $500.00 and $1000.00 and now $18,000.00 and $15,000,000 doesn't sound like much with so many people.

But a lot of that was probably people who wanted IOTA to be the next Ethereum. Who were waiting for it to go to $100 and $1000 each, and it just got stolen at $3.00 each. And when everyone says "$15,000,000", is that before or after the 13% Price drop?

IOTA should do something to fix this if they haven't started, they shouldn't just say those people are SOL. You can't earn IOTA, they are all out there already, so anyone that lost them can't go mine more or post somewhere to earn more, they have to buy them at $2.50 each if they want them, and they just lost a big investment so everyone can't really do that.

Dear colleagues,

100.27 IOTA are stolen from my wallet.

Shaligram was launched alongside Temple Coin, but over 150 have mined it and it has only existed for like 2 days, so I thought I would post it as a Standalone coin as well so that people can easily find it to Mine it, but if there is no one replying to you at any point here, the Temple Coin thread is our main thread.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2791745.0

The Mining Pool will have Instructions for Newbies soon, we are not affiliated with Hash4Life, but they listed our Coin and will list any other PoW coins we make.

Shaligram is a PoW Scrypt with 10 Minute Blocks and 50 Coins per Block

Shaligram was 1% Premined, then 2 Blockchains were created from the first 2 Nodes, and the Premine went to a wallet that no one seems to have, so we might find out who has it in the future, but as far as we know, 1% of the Market is gone. You can read the Temple Coin Shaligram combo thread to read where that happened in real time.

Shaligram has a total of 80,808,081 Coins

205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] GOVERNMENT... FINANCED... CRYPTOCURRENCY on: January 23, 2018, 01:22:06 AM
First, you have probably heard the phrase, “There’s an app for that”. In just a few years it is believed by pretty much the entire Tech community (anyone who knows about this discussion) that instead of “There’s an app for that” anyone with a Smartphone will be saying “There’s a bot for that”.

Everyone should look up "Bazillion Beings" and check out STEEM/Steemit Bots, this is how Robots will earn everyone money in the Future. Stop worrying about robots taking your job.

https://steemit.com/bots/@personz/a-new-voter-bot-newer-smarter-freer
https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@steemitprime/steemit-bot-2017-increase-upvote-and-follower-100-working
https://steemit.com/steemit/@cerebralace/how-to-use-the-steemit-voting-bots
https://steemit.com/steemit/@hoschitrooper/bots-bots-and-bots
https://steemit.com/steem/@heimindanger/don-t-use-vote-selling-bots-use-promoted-instead-a-bot-that-upvotes-you-when-you-burn-money
https://steemit.com/guide/@bitcoinparadise/do-you-want-to-run-you-own-voting-bot

How about as we start getting the Steemit Clones and everything out, we make them more and more Bot Friendly. And we create threads like this, where we can all talk about creating Bots that will vote on each others posts. Maybe we can even create a Bot that reads a thread, and looks for usernames in the thread, then if you hook up your account to the Bot, it just votes on everyone in the Thread automatically for you. And does it for anyone who uses the Bot, so everyone is getting everyone's votes.

Here is an example of a Steemit Fork
https://github.com/Someguy123/understeem

You have probably heard of various bots, and when you think of a bot the first thing you probably think of is a Roomba, or some kind of Cooking or Cleaning bot, or Drones, or Drone cars, or something like that. But bots do not have to be physical; you are probably asked regularly by your computer “Are you a robot?” or it will tell you to “Prove you are not a robot”. An example of these kinds of bots are chat bots, or Siri, or bots that are used to keep Wikipedia from being vandalized, or bots that act as Personal Assistants by responding to emails and allowing people to ask to set up meetings with you, or bots that are used by gamers to have their character do things over and over so they don’t have to sit there and do it; there are all kinds of non-physical bots. And Bazillion Beings is a company in Armenia that is bringing those bots to everyone. Right now if you want a bot, you have to first off know that that kind of bots exists somehow. If you want a bot that acts as a Personal Assistant, you have to be able to type in Google “Personal Assistant bot”, but, without having read this post, you may not have even know that you could just go and do that. Then you have to pick one, and maybe get a virus, and then figure it out. Same if you are gamer or anyone else who wants a bot. Bazillion Beings is creating an app that hosts bots, so you don’t have to know about any certain kind of bot, and you don’t have to worry about viruses, and you don’t have to even really know much at all. All you will have to know how to do is use the app store, and click things in an app. And these bots will create/find blogs, create/find webpages, create/find playlists, create/find backgrounds, and it will find places in your area that you may be interested in going to, and it will find people you might want to meet, and it will find other bots that you might want to download. And as it learns about you it gets smarter and other people can download it, and then you can download other people’s and mix their best features together to create a new bot, then you can release that bot and other people can download your bot. And as the bots do the work they do, they will be earning Cryptocurrencies, and therefor earning you money; and you actually earn money on bots that are created from your bot by other people. And they even plan on having them be so curious, that they ask you questions about what kind of food and drinks and everything pair well together, so that it can suggest places for you based on their actual menu and what you like.

So what this Company is doing is not something that is already happening, this is something that is going to change what it means to own a Smartphone.  And the most important part of this company is not that it is using a  Cryptocurrency, that is an afterthought, which is why they are treating  it like one. The main point of this company is that they are making Bots  available to everyone, for use by everyone, in a way that Bots have  never been made available before. Never before in the history of Bots  has it been possible for someone who hardly knows how to use a computer,  to simply pick up their phone, download and app, pick a bot, and earn  money from it. And further, it has never been possible for that person  to also, with a few clicks on the app, to create a new Bot, and release  it into the world for everyone they know on Facebook and Twitter, so  that other people that hardly know how to use computers can also use and  create Bots and earn money from them.

So I think this is an amazing step, and I want to add something that I think will help this whole movement.

206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] GOVERNMENT... FINANCED... CRYPTOCURRENCY on: January 23, 2018, 01:15:55 AM
Just as an example, how has Bitcointalk not implemented some kind of Steemit type Blockchain yet? That makes no sense. Everyone should be earning a Cryptocurrency for posting here. In 100 years there won't be a Major Website for anything without a Cryptocurrency, because joining a website will be your job.

So even people that can't make Cryptocurrencies, and can't figure out how to mine Cryptocurrencies, can just log on to a Website and earn some Cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin has value because you could use it on the Silk Road, so people were like "I want some" and started going to MoneyGram and WesternUnion to send money to websites like MtGox.

Venezuela is Silk Road 2.0 now.

I am not going to take Credit for this, but in the past 2 months I started getting really loud about telling people to make Town Coins, and Company Coins, and Country Coins. And right after I create Temple Coin, Kodak announces that they are going to launch (not have, going to launch) a Currency.

And now, Venezuala is making a Currency.

This is exactly what I needed to happen and have been telling people to do.

Nice, a step in the right direction.

For your sake I hope that is sarcasm because if it isn't that is a slippery slope my friend. First off OP I don't know why you want this to happen that puzzles me too but all in all this is bad, bad, and more bad. We don't need private blockchains, this is not what blockchain was made for  Angry.

Your idea of Decentralization is backwards.

Bitcoin is not Decentralized. It is Centralized around a Pipeline from the College called MIT in the United States, to Companies like IBM in Silicon Valley.

Facebook is not Decentralized. Bitcoin is not Decentralized. Nothing is Decentralized because it is Human Nature for people with like minds to congregate together. And in that is the Decentralization. Each Community, Town, Tribe, State, Country, Band, Politician, TV Station and Fast Food Company will have their own Coins. And so will every Website, like Steemit, but for Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.

Then we all come together to trade, and we are all trading our own Currencies that are backed by our Communities. Then we come and Trade with Bitcoiners, and Ethereum Holders, etc.

To say that Bitcoin is more Decentralized than what I just explained, is just not true. Bitcoin is Centralized around a small group of MIT people.

This is expected from U.S because if most of the countries supported this project U.S will be forced to fully approve a cryptocurrency to purchase a commodity that they need badly.Lets hope middle east countries will fully support this coin,so U.S wont have any chance to reverse the scene of cryptocurrency's developments.

I thought it was going to start with individual Towns in the US, with Millennials spreading them; then I thought Companies would start doing it, maybe Google eventually. Then I thought maybe a Town would use a Blockchain for their DMV system or for their Library search engine...

But no, a Country is creating a Cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin doesn't stand a chance, except that it was the first one and will have value as the "First Ancient Digital Coin".

But this is the beginning of the rest of Cryptocurrency.

The Day they launch will be the True First Day of Cryptocurrency. Everything before Venezuela's Cryptocurrency was only getting ready for the Day Venezuela made a Cryptocurrency.

Supposedly Telegram is launching an ICO, but there is no Website yet, and any website should be considered a scam for now, this one has a video and says to consider them rumors; not official
https://icodrops.com/telegram-ico-ton/

This is the future of Currency, when Google has a Coin, then your neighbor will start a Coin for his T-Shirt shop, and your Mayor will want a Coin for your Town, and McDonalds will be giving you mining instructions instead of Monopoly pieces, and then we move into the Future.

All of you people making random Coins, like PotCoin or NextCoin or Hyper or any of these Pointless Coins that have no purpose. One day maybe a person with a purpose will use your Blockchains and Fork it or Clone it, but you are nothing but a Programmer.

The Future of Coins is not surrounded by Programmers, it is simply supplied by them.

Santa Clara County v. Southern Pacific Railroad Company, 118 US 394 (1886)
Before argument, Mr. Chief Justice Waite said: "The court does not wish to hear argument on the question whether the provision in the Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution, which forbids a State to deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws, applies to these corporations. We are all of the opinion that it does."

Citizens United v. Federal Election Comm'n 558 U.S. _ (2010)
Corporations and unions may establish a political action committee (PAC) for express advocacy or electioneering communications purposes. 2 U. S. C. §441b(b)(2). In McConnell v. Federal Election Comm’n, 540 U. S. 93, 203–209, this Court upheld limits on electioneering communications in a facial challenge, relying on the holding in Austin v. Michigan Chamber of Commerce, 494 U. S. 652, that political speech may be banned based on the speaker’s corporate identity.

Burwell v. Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc. 573 U.S. _ (2014)
"The Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993 (RFRA) prohibits the “Government [from] substantially burden[ing] a person’s exercise of religion even if the burden results from a rule of general applicability” unless the Government “demonstrates that application of the burden to the person—(1) is in furtherance of a compelling governmental interest; and (2) is the least restrictive means of furthering that compelling governmental interest.” 42 U. S. C. §§2000bb–1(a), (b). As amended by the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act of 2000 (RLUIPA), RFRA covers “any exercise of religion, whether or not compelled by, or central to, a system of religious belief.” §2000cc–5(7)(A)."

215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Countries' Strict regulation and Ban will kill Cryptocurrencies? on: January 22, 2018, 11:26:50 PM
Chinese people just invested in Bitcoin when they were $100-$1000 and got it where it is, it is not dependent on China.

And there are going to be people moving to other Countries if they own Bitcoins.

Like when all the Capitalists left Russia, and now there are a bunch of non-Communist Russians in America.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Countries' Strict regulation and Ban will kill Cryptocurrencies? on: January 22, 2018, 11:25:02 PM
I think yes, if the government implemented a serious penalty for the one that break the law, we will see a huge falling in crypto, with the banning of mining and exchanges, a lot of people will not interested in crypto anymore because it's difficult to cash out and with a lower transaction volume the price will fall down

China isn't going to kill Cryptocurrencies, lol.

I know a lot of people think that somehow there are people in China keeping Bitcoin afloat, and that it wouldn't exist without their backing, but that is simply not true. And that is just Bitcoin, there are tons of other Currencies.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Countries' Strict regulation and Ban will kill Cryptocurrencies? on: January 22, 2018, 11:16:39 PM
For example, what wording would even be used to Ban Coins, they could ban Bitcoin. And that would be simple enough, banning "Bitcoin", but if they were to ban "Digital Currencies" that would include World of Warcraft Gold, or any other In-Game Currency that pre-existed Bitcoin or that was made after Bitcoin, which wouldn't make sense.

Then, if they banned "Blockchain Technologies" that would hurt the Financial Technology Community, as Banks and Companies like IBM and Kodak are getting into Blockchain. And they are not trying to Ban Legal Corporate use. They may Regulate Corporate use of Blockchains though, but they can't keep it out of the hands of everyone else if they are going to let Corporations use them.

So they would have to get really specific. They could ban SHA Algorithms, and then they would have to define SHA Algorithms, or they could ban CryptoNight Protocol, and they would have to define CryptoNight Protocol. But they won't do that until we can clearly identify which Blockchains are being used for Crime, then they can start doing that and it all make sense.

219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Countries' Strict regulation and Ban will kill Cryptocurrencies? on: January 22, 2018, 11:04:54 PM
No, Government regulation only makes people want to use Cryptocurrencies more.

And the Genie is out of the bottle already. Banning Cryptocurrencies is like banning LAN connections or hacking. It's too late to try to do something like that now that so many people know about it.

All they can do is try to keep up. Like with Drugs. There are thousands of drugs that are legal, not even prescription, because they don't want everyone to know about them, or they don't know about them.
