Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin wallet transaction pending about a week what is next step If it fails

I have experienced it too, it takes almost a week for my transaction to confirm. I know it's all about the block size and miners fee. For block size I can understand it, but to add more fee to get my transaction faster is nonsense for me. If the fee is almost same like using PayPal, it's not good anymore for bitcoin.
P.s. : your topic is not about altcoins, maybe you can move this thread to the right place.
Yes its my mistake in bitcointalk home page i created the topic but it took the topic to altcoin how i can move this to right place

Currently, transaction confirmation time of BTC is quite long compared to before, but usually takes about 3 days (the slowest). I have not had any transactions pending up to 7 days! It may be because the transfer fee is too low and the transaction is small. Can you let people know your transaction?
Its about 10000 sathoshi and again one more 6000 sathoshi i know its very small ammount but about a week still pending so i have posted here

Thanks for giving official nic link . Here my question is that safe to keep bitcoin in indian wallet like zebpay or unocoin ?? What I suggest you whenever you think to store Bitcoins, keep them in wallets whose private keys are owned by you which makes you the true owner of your money. Whereas in case of Unocoin and Zebpay, you are just representative of your money. Real bitcoin lies with company. So let say these companies remain honest forever but still there is a possibility that you lose bitcoin when companies hacked on whole. Exactly even i am trying to transfer from unocoin wallet to my original blockchain wallet but its showing very good amount of transaction charges. Now i feel i have done wrong thing

Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Whats the revenue model for Faucet Sites and apps apart form advertisement

I used some sites to earn satoshi like freebitco.in it seems like very legit and also its referral system works fine . I barely see advertisement in this sites But these sites already given huge payout How these sites make revenue apart from advertisement
They make money from transaction fees and from mining. I wouldn`t say that freebitco.in is a faucet site. It`s a bitcoin gambling site. And yes, freebitco.in is legit indeed. In your answer you said they earning from Mining also. Again your saying its not faucet site could you elaborate please They have several methods to generate income to distribute to users. They started out with gambling and advertisements and now they added a mining operation that generate income too... They use all of this to pay themselves and also to pay their faucet users. People can also "bank" money with them and they get interest on those deposits. { they use this money to fund their hardware and overheads to expand the mining operation } Thanks its better explanation so they are using all the possibilities in one site and also giving back to their user its really good concept

Freebitco.in are an exception to most other faucets because they make their money by giving people incentives not to withdraw and instead throw away their money (saving up with a few measly satoshi to finance their dice game which they make far more than 4% profit on, having the dice game, etc). Since faucets are paying such tiny amounts people can lose money through the opportunity to earn an amount that's actually meaningful, even if the chance is pretty low.
Its good explanation but also confusion in this part (saving up with a few measly satoshi to finance their dice game which they make far more than 4% profit on, having the dice game, etc )
