1421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ethereum or zcash for long term? on: June 13, 2017, 11:05:42 AM
Ethereum is having good potentiality because its supply not declared i guess its unlimited. You can see lots of ICO is happening based on ERC20 token distribution like many more in future so i definitely vote for ether.
1422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How far do you think ETH will go? on: June 13, 2017, 11:03:35 AM
I put in about $100 into ETH yesterday and plan on putting another $100 in today. Last I checked, it was around $3 per ETH and now it's at $19 which is absolutely great.

How many of you have invested in ETH and how far do you think it will go in the next couple of years?
Ether will go until it pumps then it may drop bit . But its having huge potentiality after its ERC20 token distribution . Ether is the revolutionary model i think ether will grow even it stops pumping.

1427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many ICO - new scam scheme? on: June 12, 2017, 12:52:03 PM
I have just noticed that there are too many ICO around and most of the projects are similar to each other. As you can see, we both have monaco ICO and token card ICO. DO you think that it is worth to invest in ICO? I have a strong feeling that there are many people abusing the ICO in order to build a new kind of MLM scheme. People will lose their money once the coin get on some exchange.
Recently i participated in one campaign and i was closely watching that ICO move. Soon in main ANN thread there was lots of scam accusation happened that guy could not able to solve finally he dint do the ICO .
1428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a mess. ETH is a freight train. on: June 12, 2017, 12:48:44 PM

1429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: June 12, 2017, 12:36:11 PM
The biggest disadvantage is sending huge amount of money from one country to another i think its  making every countries government goes to loss.Bitcoin is associated with some scam like ransomware even though there is no actual involvement with bitcoin but the ransomware guy accept the money in the form of bitcoin
1430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may not be number one for long on: June 12, 2017, 09:16:31 AM
I thought for sure it would take until the end of 2018 but it looks like this summer ethereum might pass it up. With the turmoil around BTC potential splitting, it might be very soon. IMO this is healthy, we will always value bitcoin for being the one that started it all, but it's time for a more dynamic and adaptable currency to take the lead.
I think you came to this assumption because of recent growth in ethereum . But its in one direction its rising once it starts to fall like happened with bitcoin almost near 350 $ to 400$ last year . Could you think the same happens with ether it will survive or again it takes launch like bitcoin
1431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best site to buy and hold waves on: June 12, 2017, 07:15:52 AM
Bittrex is the best site for buying and selling waves. And most of the people here love bittrex. It is fast and convenient. The withdraw only takes about 5 to 10 minutes. You can make a huge withdraw without any delay. Poloniex is suck. Always want to scam people money and delay in payment
Is there a possibility of buying using my credit card how about giving credit card details in this site is there any security issue because i dint do any transaction like buying altcoin through currency all i have done using bitcoin i had

You can't buy with CC you need to first figure out how to get BTC then move your bitcion to Bittrexx then buy waves. Why did you pick Waves? What is your logic behind it that you think the price will go up? And what's your target price in 1 year?
am having eye on 2 coins for this year one is waves and another litecoin as coinbase chief architect joined litecoin team . May litecoin reach upto 100$ . Waves am comparing with ether how it gone from 3 $ to 350 $ i was keep on watching could not able to buy . So same thing happening on waves again its my intention there is no proper proof

1437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if dogecoin value goes 1$??? on: June 10, 2017, 03:53:00 PM
Sorry to break your dream but it ain't going to happened, like you said the developer had left and doge doesn't has anything that makes it different from other alt coin, it is almost near to impossible that doge going to reach 1$ and I even doubt it can reach 0.1$, I think it is a downhill for doge, better move to other alt coin to invest
Purpose of thread still dint understand please look into Clement Kaliyar comment in this thread about speculation dead dogecoin its really informative. I am aware that the market capitalisation by distributing billions of coins so that it wont reach 1$ or even 1 cent . But what makes dogecoin move on and any future enhancement result on this thread much appreciated
1438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if dogecoin value goes 1$??? on: June 10, 2017, 01:50:45 PM
I know that dogecoin dev's left project long before and it was considered dead . But even its having market cap of 36,97,14,195 according coincap result .Is there any way of reaching at least 0.1 $ ? . If any highly influential please reply
There are some misunderstanding regarding the project i think, the huge market cap is simply because of the unlimited amount of coins dogecoin has and developers are not dead as there was a network upgrade to DIP-0420 and a request to signal for UAJS and that is when the price started increasing and the community is still active.
Wow thats the real good answer and meets the purpose of the thread created its really informative . Even i want to break speculation about doge .I will take this point seriously. Still some more legit information welcome .

1440  Local / India / Re: HELP- Investing on BTC and want to know someting on: June 10, 2017, 12:02:58 PM
Don't be a jerk pay your taxes, most probably your income from Bitcoin will be exempted if its not too much.

Right now the Indian taxation for bitcoin is definitely murky but that does not mean you aren't liable to pay any tax on your profit from Bitcoin. I am expecting DABFI to get officials to push for circular guiding everyone on how we go about the taxation on income from Bitcoin or someone to dispute its taxation in court.

Bitcoin is a software according to laws led by CBDT for now.

In your case you won't have to pay any tax until you sell your bitcoins. When and at what rate you sell your bitcoins is what will decide how much tax shall be paid by you under which head.

If you trade regularly and make profits:
Profit will be treated as Income under Profits and Gains from Business or Profession.
More taxes are attracted if Income fall under this head and your income is above 100K INR (Service tax, GST, Education cess, TDS, list goes on)
Better hire an expert if you trade regularly and make a lot. Not many are sure if their income falls under this head.

If you sell you bitcoins within 12 months of purchase:
Profit will be treated as Income from other sources.

Bitcoin as an asset:
India Accounting Standard 26 Issued by ICAI - Clearly mention software an an intangible asset in point 5 of scope. Hence profits from bitcoin CAN be classified as Capital gains.

If you sell you bitcoins after 12 months but within 36 months of purchase:
Bitcoins can be treated as Intangible asset.
Profit will be treated as Income from Capital Gains (Short term).

If you sell you bitcoins after 36 months of purchase:
Bitcoins can be treated as Intangible asset.
Profit will be treated as Income from Capital Gains (Long term).

This profit will be added to your total taxable income, which then be used to calculate your net tax to be paid.

On the other hand if you wanna be a jerk and not pay your taxes, make all the deals in cash, leave no evidence behind and hope IT dept doesn't knock at your door and you shall be fine.

Enough information about Indian Taxation on Bitcoin is available on this forum but its in bits and pieces. I might make a single topic guiding everyone on Bitcoin taxation in India if I feel the need for it.

Disclaimer: We don't have clear regulations on Bitcoin yet the laws will have to be interpreted in order to fit Bitcoin money into our system and interpretation will be different from person to person. Some interpretation will be more correct than other. I will gladly accept if someone could dispute my above classification by mentioning sections/clauses from IT Act. The court or CBDT will have the final say anyways.
It is really worth information and i appreciate your effort to explain the topic . But again here it looks like telling about trade like based on capital investment. How about earnings by giving services and like signatures . where there will not be any inflow only earnings then How it will be calculated
