1362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (serious ethereum blockchain issues) this is why you keep altcoins on exchanges! on: June 21, 2017, 11:25:55 AM
i just realized that bittrex (the exchange that always use) have disabled all ethereum deposits and withdrawals with the warning about Blockchain congestion detected under it.

and meanwhile the price is dropping fast and hard.

this is not exactly the best practice but for all the altcoins, specially those known to have serious problems such as ethereum, it is best to always keep them on exchanges to dump them fast and always cash out the BTC or USD to cold storage.

to all you who have your deposits stuck and are losing money, you have my sympathy.

edit: i can see other exchanges have done the same. Coinbase is saying "investigating..." (https://status.coinbase.com/) and i have heard that poloniex has also been experiencing issues.
Its really informative after seeing your thread i started looking into market price and started read about ethereum article . And also true to keep altcoin in exchanges instead of blockchain wallets.
1363  Economy / Micro Earnings / Micro Earning websites affected because of high transaction fees?? on: June 21, 2017, 08:48:40 AM
As far my knowledge there is lots of sites are getting business because of bitcoin like faucets ,PTC , and games which will be having huge payout of small micro earnings to the customer. Is these websites and apps affected because of high transaction charges??
1364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: June 21, 2017, 08:07:54 AM
Everyone wanted higher bitcoin price and we achieved this but another problem become transaction fees. When bitcoin's price was low, we had to pay also low fee and now when it rised, we have to pay high fee in bitcoins and plus that high fee is more higher with current price. Is this fair? The higher the price, the more money miners have with bitcoin exchange.
To my mind when price becomes high, we have to pay low fee and when it becomes low, than fee has to be high. To my mind it had to be done like this from the begining.

Bitcoin transaction fee's so far is not being fair actually, but we community of bitcoin can't do anything from it.
Depending on the exchange like in yobit each withdrawal transaction was 0.0015BTC, while in bittrex was 0.001BTC something like that.

Why do you think it is being unfair? With the current price of bitcoin don't you think that the fee is good enough? I think this just make us realize not to make transaction with few amount, make a transaction when you are sending big amounts and with many recipients. If you send a small amount of bitcoin, you will be really suffering the FEEpocalypse.
Yes exactly now bitcoin becomes only for huge fund transfer if we try to transfer small amount then we will suffer for sure . Now don't depend on pocket money by doing faucets, games, PTC sites its fully waste
1365  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Crypto Faucets on: June 21, 2017, 08:01:29 AM
Do u know some good Faucets? Have u ever use it?
I don't understand what you mean by crypto faucets . If your looking for multiple crypto currency earning in one faucet then that should be epay.info and eobot you can try both .
1366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: hold your savings in the cloud rather than at a bank. on: June 21, 2017, 07:59:51 AM

Think about it: when you send money to someone, those funds move from your bank, to the central bank, to another bank, and then finally to the recipient’s account.

This is the same way that money used to be transferred 800 years ago…

… which seems almost tragically anachronistic given that we have apps today to send funds directly to a recipient’s mobile phone or email address.

Who needs a middleman anymore?

Why should anyone borrow money from a bank when there are so many Peer-to-Peer and crowdfunding platforms available?

Why pay exorbitant fees and commissions to exchange currency when there numerous websites that exchange money at almost no cost?

Banks as financial intermediaries are about as quaint as taxi dispatchers in the age of Uber.

Cryptocurrency and Blockchain technology are the final nails in the coffin, making it possible to hold your savings in the cloud rather than at a bank.

This article has the same goal than me when i read the first agression-law (Europa - end of 2013) that it can take (my) saving from bank in case of bankrupt (of the bank).

At this date, all my saving have been stored in crypto-space to evade from this agression-law.

I was reading the article and finally come to conclusion that even i am knowing about crypto and peer to per technology why am using banks .And the answer i got is i am believing the media or mode which is proven for long its secure for my earning and also its legalised by the government That should be bank .
1367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Money Moving Back into Bitcoin from Alt-Coins on: June 21, 2017, 07:47:56 AM

1368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: wtf? Blockchain transaction fees is outrageous!!! on: June 21, 2017, 07:43:51 AM

1369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [iDice.io Bounty Program] The Ethereum Dice Game Play, Invest, Profit! on: June 21, 2017, 07:41:25 AM

1370  Economy / Speculation / Re: what will happen to the price of bitcoin? on: June 20, 2017, 10:54:44 AM
I think the price will rise gradually after that. Slow transaction and high transaction fees are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin. With solving these problems the demand for buying bitcoins will increase. As a result the price will rise. What will happen to Bitcoin can cause big profit for owners.
I do agree if the things OP mentioned happen there will be a big profit for bitcoin holders. The biggest disadvantage with bitcoin now a days transaction charge and confirmation time once it is solved there will be a big boom.
1371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's add up the KNOWN lost bitcoins on: June 20, 2017, 10:46:29 AM
I lost some bitcoin when i started bitcoin earning doing faucets and other things like games finally i dint know how to convert it as money finally i gave up . its happened year back. But re entry into bitcoin was quite good for me .
1372  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? on: June 20, 2017, 08:57:23 AM
We could individually reach out to local merchants and explain them about bitcoins. They should be explained that bitcoin payments cannot be reversed once made which would be safe for their business. We could share details about bitcoins in our face book, twitter so that our friends would get awareness about bitcoins and once they share it,bitcoin knowledge would be spread to others.
Do you think above mentioned thing is possible with local merchants . As far i seen the digital transformation in my country lots of people still not adopte like mobile wallet and bank wallets . Local merchants need cash instead of digital currency .
1373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [iDice.io Bounty Program] The Ethereum Dice Game Play, Invest, Profit! on: June 20, 2017, 07:39:45 AM

1377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what's the fees you pay every bitcoin trading? on: June 19, 2017, 12:19:34 PM
Bitcoin is a store of value to me, savings, an asset if you like. Paying higher than recommended fees doesn't bother me. I pay higher than average every single time, I don't want to be hanging around for ages waiting for confirmation.

I understand why people get annoyed waiting if they're using bitcoin as a currency to buy things though.
But how about people who is having very less earning and they want to transact for some emergency . Now bitcoin becoming the option for wealthy people .It was not the agenda or purpose of bitcoin.
1378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am now a multi millionaire because of NEM XEM on: June 19, 2017, 12:16:45 PM
All of these stories involve holding coins for long amounts of time. I ask if any of us have this patience
Yes i do agree i don't have patience to wait this long . Really appreciate people who had that patience and keep this long and became millionaire . may be this story inspiration for lots of people .
1379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum is a good investment move on: June 19, 2017, 10:50:33 AM
I consider Ethereum to be a good investment move. I see the $1000 mark by the end of this year.

Ethereum is doing good because of lots of ICO based on ERC20 token and to exchange the token in marketplace again we need gas for transaction . Because of this ethereum gaining value . Be cautious about this ICO's.
1380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: switching from btc to alts? Can altcoins sustain upward trend? on: June 19, 2017, 10:29:33 AM
Because of some issues that Bitcoin is having some users are thinking about abandoning the Bitcoin and choosing some alts. But to my opinion this would be wrong decision. Although many altcoins are showing rising I don't see any particular potential to replace the Bitcoin or achieve its value. So I wouldn't switch to any alt at the moment.
Bitcoin having only issue now that transaction charges only for micro transaction not for big fund transfer . The people who is using to transfer good amount of bitcoin (Converted fiat currency) they don't feel transaction fees too much . Yes of course people are switching alt not only because of transaction charge they see it as a another investment (trading). Finally they convert their profit into bitcoin
