1241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [BitBar] Calling out first uncovered SHILL mr_random on: May 06, 2013, 12:19:02 AM
What makes you think he didn't just buy them from the person who mined them? Much like he bought 4 off me for 1.6 BTC.

Thank you. I can even provide transaction proof.

I believe you AND I PUBLICLY APOLOGIZE, now spill the beans. Who is the member that mined hundreds of BitBars on the first minutes after the 1 min announcement?

It doesn't take long to get a miner running. I had my miner up in about 2 minutes after I read the announcement (maybe 15 minutes after it was posted) and I managed to get 2 blocks with my humble mining rig.

Yea you got 2 blocks, insiders and creator got got at least 1500.

Well, I did that with JKC Coin, got nearly 20K of them in about 8 minutes after the thread was posted...

Different story bro, here are more details about the "pre-mine":

Hey mr_random

Can you tell me why did you receive 40 Bitbars from the same person that mined the first blocks? and would that explain why are you defending it so hard?

I think this shill is toast:

You were donated a fair ammount of BitBar to use your post count and reputation to defend it didn't you?

Completely incorrect. I paid for those BitBar fair and square from a member here.

You owe me an apology.

Who is the member? we could find out who the insiders are that way. If you don't you are still guilty.
1245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [BitBar] Calling out first uncovered SHILL mr_random on: May 06, 2013, 12:04:15 AM
no offense but what do you think got FTC going?

Same, I heavily critized it but I never put too much time in uncovering the shills... Bitbar was such a blatant scam that I'm checking the whole blockchain and uncovering shit before it grows like feathercoin did.
1246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [BitBar] Calling out first uncovered SHILL mr_random [UPDATE: mr_random is INNO on: May 05, 2013, 11:49:24 PM
START OF UPDATE 11 May 2013: mr_random says that he purchased them from BlastBob, so apparently he's the one who insta-mined the BitBar and owns the wallet linked in OP:

TLDR: I paid for the 40 BitBars for about 0.56 bitcoin per bar from BlastBob!!!

Update! Moderator refused to step in. Gave weak reasons imo, would only have taken that person 5 minutes to log into my account and check my private messages.

I hate to post a private trade publicly but since the moderator won't step in I have no choice.

I bought the BitBars from BlastBob. I saw him post in a topic saying he had 50 to sell and offered to take 40 of them. I said I would pay 0.6 btc per bar in 4 transactions (ended up being 0.56 each or something). I had no idea if he is connected to BitBars. I noticed in the YAC launch thread he very quickly accumulated a ton of YACs and has sold at least 30k - I doubt he is behind YAC too, I think he just has one of the best mining mega rigs around. I noticed the next day after I bought my BitBars from him that he was selling a lot of them.

I sent the money to him directly from my btc-e wallet. Am I allowed to post his bitcoin address? It should show the money going in there

I bought my BitBars in good faith and have learnt a good lesson! Innocently buying coins from the wrong person leads to stupid people calling you a scammer.

END OF UPDATE, original OP is below

Hey,

Would like to sell 2 BitBars, @ 1.5 BTC each.

PM me.

So you call BitBars a big scam (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=195818.msg2041030#msg2041030) yet you are mining for them and selling them... I hope people thinking of buying from this user read this and buy elsewhere.

Reminds me of this kunt who is selling Bitbar and closes his own thread to avoid accusations and people calling him out. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=196323.0

Lol  @ ymer saying hdclover is an insider.

You keep defending BitBar with silly posts with strawman and derails, go back to spamming how awesome BitBar is.

You fail you realize that? Lets count my posts vs your post on BitBars and see who is spamming.

You keep showing up in all the threads where the BitBar is exposed giving silly arguments, not a single significaive post by you has been seen.

Your arguments:

"LOL you were late to the game"
"LOL you think that people making threads defending BitBar over and over are insiders"  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Keep getting mad. I never said anything. Neither did you, except you copied other people's ideas into your posts. Who cares if I show up in threads? Who cares if i say what I want? Who cares if you said hdclover is an insider? Did you read my response to it? Did i flat out object to it? No. So, thanks. Keep it to yourself. I haven't made a single thread about these BitBars, unlike you.

Just click ignore. I've done it to 3 people and now I've noticed I don't see any of these anti-BitBar trolls. Anywhere.  Smiley

You have no reason to defend BitBar right: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=196323.0  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

lolwut? FTC doubled it's price when it Hit BTC-E, right now it's 150% of what was trading for before it hit BTC-e
http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/period-charts.php?period=10-days&resolution=hour&pair=ftc-btc&market=btc-e

yeah, looks healthy to me  Cheesy

Woot? Your chart has no info of the price before hitting BTC-E which is what I was arguing  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
1254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest BitBar Pool is under DDOS on: May 05, 2013, 10:45:41 PM
nice sensationalist title, this is the reality:

Only BitBar Pool which registrations are closed because it can't handle more users  and has only 70 miners is under DDOS

Edit: Also it's very curious that it's under DDOS and the front end is still up, I've been mining there and it slows down or is completely down very often because it can't keep up with the very few miners in there.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
1255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTE-e the alto coin killer on: May 05, 2013, 10:37:13 PM
this is true. 1 or 2 weeks ago on this board at least 50% posts are about Feather coins, now is 1%?

Strong understanding.

Now that FTC was dumped for big bucks their next project (BitBar) is gaining attention through the same publicity stunt. Rinse and repeat.

Feathercoin and BitBar have absolutely no connections between the developers. You're far too paranoid Smiley

There are a lot of people working to further FTC on several levels. Just because you cannot see it on the forum does not mean that it is not happening. Feathercoin is going to be around for quite some time.

Well I can't confirm or reject that they have same developers because BitBar is anonymous, but the strategy is exactly the same with the publicity stunt.

by that time 500 Bitbar were already in the hands of the creator and the people that was aware before the announcement.
And people selling them for 2btc, that's pretty easy money.  Cheesy

I just wonder if they will manage to sell them ALL, not 1 or 2, for that price...  Roll Eyes

Even if they only sell 100 it's still 10k USD profit for 2 days of work.
1259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitBar Didn't Pre-Mine, they were just conveniently ready on: May 05, 2013, 09:31:31 PM
Bump because Insider "hdclover" already made a thread with lies saying "it was not premined"
1260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ★★ ▀▄▀▄▀ BITBAR is not pre-mined !!! ▀▄▀▄▀ ★★ on: May 05, 2013, 09:30:30 PM
Quote
Official announcement on this board:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=193519.0 Time: 05:30:04 PM

Announcement: 17:30:04
First Block mined: 17:32:10 (Difficulty 0.00) (Reward 1 Bitbar per block)
First Hundred blocks: 17:33:24
First 200 blocks: 17:36:16
First 300 blocks: 17:39:42
First Thousand blocks: 18:01:22
First 2000 blocks: 18:40:45 (Difficulty 0.012) (Reward 0.528202 per block)
.
.
.
.
Current Block 6000 (Difficulty 15.291) (Reward 0.164687 per block)

So from the time that it was announced to the time someone has time to read the announcement, download the client and configure the .config you need at least 15 minutes, by that time 500 Bitbar were already in the hands of the creator and the people that was aware before the announcement.

Now take into account that the reward is rapidly decreasing, the "conveniently ready miners" are hoarding a huge ammount of bitbars which were easily mined right after the announcement:

Here's one of said wallets:
