As per predictions about blockchain based economy this year to see approximately $7 trillions coming in this. Doge will not remain behind and will get significant share from total market. It is available at best price.

Also the blockchain is getting famous day by day cause of these new ICOs and more and more people are investing over it. I hope so but we are in recession recently. The dev of this coin should take action, I have thousands of this coin for years now, try engage in something unique in order to attract investors and partners. Looking forward to February and March for a good news.
DOGE dont have dedicated developping team for years,just few volunteers who do something from time to time when they have some spare time. Obviously,this is a major problem and reason why DOGE is lost in space for so long while other coins get more and more investors every day. DOGE price related to BTC is on the same level from beginning.That is not case with other big coins and is a result of lack of new investors. One quick pump/dump every year and that is it. |

I bought at 40 sat and sold at 88 sat. I was thinking about buying again at 80 but after reading the comments here, I changed my mind. I'll just look for other low priced coins to invest.

Dodge has been a guaranteed 2x your money once or twice a year for some time now. Start buying when it gets below 40 and sell when it inevitably hits 80. Just study the charts over a couple years if you don't believe me. Nice lesson. But DOGE has just dipped a bit, not below than 40 satoshi as you said, but I really don't care, its still potential for growing because its very currency many coin ^^ Of course it hasn't "dipped" down to 40. It's still in it's pump bubble and so it won't happen for a little while yet. But look at the 2 years chart. It NEVER grows. It just goes through these cycles. All this time of bitcoins rise, unlike many other coins, it hasn't grown beyond it's typical pump type levels and right now it's just doing it's traditional pump. Until someone steps back up (after the developer(s) walked away), be it the foundation or whatever, and start to promote it again as a real potential currency (as opposed to those that just promote it for pumping purposes), it will never be more than it is now. True. DOGE cant sustain high price due to huge supply and lack of developpment and marketing which could bring new investors and money to support higher price. DOGE is classic example of quick pump/dump scheme. so what you mean is no more chance to make DOGE rise up again. I am really waiting its dump again to make some trades. Actually it has been multiplied 2x my account recently. it will rise for sure someday but has to drop at first DOGE went up 7.5x from inital price. It was very fast rise without any significant corrections - hallmark of short and fast pump/dump. Because of the bottleneck on BTC on Ethereum networks and the BTC communities unfavorable opinion due to their past rivalry with LTC,
Only one alternative remains to save the BTC protocol as the dominant protocol, that is blockckchain diversification on a Bitcoin-based coin which has been equally distributed without premine which is much faster, a coin that can take the load on smaller transactions easyly with low fees, and is reliable and widely accepted, popular, and most importantly a coin that does not give power to a specific entity or certain people.

if you are still under the illusion that this coin or that coin with that new gadgetry will rival Bitcoin or Ethereum you will be mistaken, that will be none other than Dogecoin.
My advice for DOGE holders is to try not to get too emotional on the rise and falls of DOGE price during 2018 because it will happen. They will try to take away your DOGEs cheaper than what they will be worth by swinging the market and keeping the price at the lowest possible for weeks to make you give in. Don't fall into this trap because great things for DOGE are not that far away anymore.
Market cap cant be taken seriously to evaluate real value of any coin. If you try to sell just 10% of total supply it would crash market completely. |

I do not understand why people say that high supply is a big problem. Things measure the same even if you use inches or kilometers. This is just a dividing unit.
Currencies with few coins like bitcoin or litecoin are not manageable, when the currency increases in value the decimal figures are a nightmare.
In addition, users (especially new ones) are more grateful to receive a tip of 25 dogecoins than 0.001 Litecoins.
The high supply was part of the joke, but finally it was a success. If in the future it is reached the parity doge = dollar = euro, its conversion and use will be intuitive and easy for most people
High supply is not such problem when a coin has strong developping and marketing team which could bring a lot of investors. DOGE does not have them,so it cant bring large quantities of money in it which could make DOGE more valuable and stable. That is why DOGE is classic pump/dump coin like many others. |
