Anyone have the link to one of the biggest faketoshi vision coin?
I heard there are many visions of same coin,
and forking was his main vision strategy.

The idea that Satoshi's vision would be that everyone and his dog would fork BTC and create each time out of thin air 21 Million of new self proclaimed Bitcoins - is indeed hilarious.

waiting for something ups from MTNC team before start running my masternode again.
For now, it is unprofitable to run MTNC masternodes. I actually stopped running my MNs three months ago, but considered to run it again recent weeks.

Why would it be unprofitable? LoL. It's not mining which consumes considerable energy resources. Even with the coin at zero $ you'd still get your coins, which one day could suddenly be worth fiat money again. Nothing to lose in going on staking.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]COSS Token Swap ICO is LIVE on: December 01, 2018, 10:51:40 PM
I just do not get the CFT ICO. Even if only the private sale bucket is fully absorbed, why would market participants gobble up $1.6 mln of CFT if max annual trading fees at $500k daily volume is only 365k?

In essence, investors are expected to pay trading fees in advance by being promised a trading fee reduction of 25% in the future. Pay now, get a reduction the next few years.

Looking at the rough numbers, it would take years and years to recover the full amount invested now through the 25% reduction in trading fees in the future.

Or do investors think COSS is still around over 16 years?

Do they expect to massively increase their trading volume on COSS in the next few years?

And an ICO up to $16 mln ----  Shocked Shocked ---- in this bear market? What are they expecting?

Do people expect a price rise in the CFT token price?

Even if my 5-minute-excel-sheet is incomplete, it makes no sense to me other than an attempt to bring in some money by collecting trading fees in advance. Is COSS critically low on cash?

Excel sheet with rough (incomplete) numbers:

What I think is that this is just a desperate move because they're running out of money, because let's be honest, volume is under $1M for many months now. As a I said a million times, their fault was to launch Coss too early, it was called beta but in reality it was just an alpha/prototype version, people lost confidence pretty much instantly.
My 2C

That's really scary. Time ago I've read that the team has money for a few months more, but what would happen after that? And when is Coss 2.0 supposed to launch? Not being able to meet your own roadmap timely is a mortal sin in the very competitive Crypto space.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] EOSex: EOSex - The hybrid Exchange for EOS Community on: December 01, 2018, 11:27:49 AM
The EOSex ICO has ended.
1,802,864,039 EXP have been sold out of a total of 2,500,000,000 EXP available during the ICO.
The unsold portion of 697,135,961.19 EXP will be burnt, directly. #EOSex #EXP #EOS

Sad that you missed an opportunity? Well you can buy EXP after all the EOSEX will be up and running soon. Smiley Congrats to the investors and to the team.

It looks like an excellent result for an ICO, especially if you consider the times we are in. I see on the bounty thread that the bounty campaigns will run until the end of december anyway - is that right?
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: November 29, 2018, 11:24:30 PM

Where did you get that 100% anonymous claim? Nothing is as black and white as 100% anonymous or 100% KYC. Bitcoin is also not 100% anonymous. Bytes are not 100% anonymous, blackbytes are anonymous (don't know what percentage). Even Monero is not 100% anonymous.

As far as I know Blackbytes are 100% anonymous, and they are so untrackable that this makes it in fact impossible to trade them on centralized exchanges.

As I've said to Ideaupdater in one of my previous posts, if you don't take proper care of your coin during the bear market, you may not have any more a coin at the beginning of next bullmarket.

There is a lack of consensus behind what is "bitcoin".

Not really. There is bitcoin (BTC) and 1000+ altcoins, a handful of which are trying desperately to create confusion over what is the "the real bitcoin" as their main marketing tactic.

Its still BTC. Always has been, always will be.

BCH had very little real world adoption (even less now), and BSV has zero. A coin whose entire premise is trying to pretend and trick new users into thinking it is "the real bitcoin" is no coin at all.

BTC was no longer bitcoin after the segwit upgrade, how many times must i repeat this to you before it penetrates your thick skull?

People tend to forget that Bitcoin is not, as it claims, a real currency actually used to buy things, in which case the tech would be a real issue. Bitcoin has turned into a store of value and as such what really matters is just the brand. Bitcoin is Bitcoin because it's the one and only coin which is called Bitcoin. Period.

This makes a lot of sense. Funny how hard people will try to twist definitions to meet their own weird agendas.

Its like saying water isn't water anymore. H3O is the real water now.

No... Water is water. What you made in your lab is... something else.

The disturbing thing in such issues as always is the lack of clear thinking, which leads to the systematic misuse of words, which in itself on the long term leads to sheer nonsense.

That's very nice. Is there any date already set when this "game" to receive bytes will be launched? When will the rules be published?

So if you have BTC this means that you have BCH SV or was that just a fork of BCH on

yeah, not paying attention ..only BCH I have 'supposedly' I have not touched from the BTC Hoard wallet from when it landed...

brad

If you haven't split your coins from the original BCH fork from BTC, you now have coins in both the ABC and SV fork. Since neither side has implemented replay protection, it may be a challenge to split the coins. Since you are a miner, you can probably mine coinbase coins from both sides and then use these as 'tainted" coins to do the split. The process looks really complicated now, especially since you haven't done the original split. In any event, if you want to claim coins at any point, you are probably going to have to import your private keys/seed phrase for your BTC to Electron Cash.(That would probably be the easiest software, AFAIK) I would move your BTC to a new private key/seed as a first step.

I have never been able to redeem my BCH from the original  fork from BTC since my BTC were stored on an electron multisig address, and none of the procedures which I've found online - even in this same OK - has worked for me.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] EOSex: EOSex - The hybrid Exchange for EOS Community - Final ICO Stage on: November 25, 2018, 09:14:24 AM
Are there any news on how the ICO is proceeding, given the crypto bloodbath which is affecting and depressing all the sector? People are escaping crypto in panic these days, unaware that the best deals are made exactly when everyone is panicing.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀 [ANN][TWIST] TWIST : Revolutionising Blockchain Accessibility 🚀 on: November 24, 2018, 11:14:14 PM
Hard times for the whole cryptoworld, hope this project will survive.

As Baron Rothschild once put it:
"The time to buy is when there's blood in the streets, even if the blood is your own."

Of course, this applies only for those who have some money left - and possibly some blood left too - which they can use for buying.

Hello guys, can some one tell me that how much minimum coins are required in Masternodecoin wallet for staking purpose? I am new to this field and i am thinking to buy MTNC coin and start staking, kindly help me please to do this.

With current prices you might consider affording a masternode, 50,000 coins needed, currently on sale just as in a veeery long Black Friday.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: November 24, 2018, 04:02:56 PM
Well, he had those names in mind, so it is not cypersquatting, it is a measure to AVOID cybersquatting, if his idea is accepted he fully deserves a little prize for the solution he has provided, if it is not accepted, then he'd make a little loss and nobody would care about these domain names anyway.
Since you don't understand what Cybersquatting is, check the definition given on wikipedia:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cybersquatting

That is just semantics. Yes, it is true that he didn't cybersquat existing trademark, but what he basically did was that bought a domains and then wrote a nice long post how the names he came up with were "best possible replacement name". If you want a known name for that behavior, that can be called as lobbying.

Anyways, this is not the proccess how Byteball gets a rebranding. There is a branding agency hired who will come up with the possible news names (and they will make sure it will not sound stupid in other languages). I think it has been said that community opinion will be taken account for selecting the final one, but I have no idea when that happens.

Well, he just made a proposal, which is something always welcome - it's called brainstorming, of course the branding agency will then come with their own proposals and-or conclusions. And my personal opinion is very similar of the one of afbitcoins - bytecash is quite cool, while G-Bytes is actually quite terrible IMO.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: November 24, 2018, 02:44:52 PM
In full disclosure, I have gone to the trouble of registering some domains to try to protect the names I have mentioned. I was worried that they could be unavailable or fall into unsympathetic hands. Not all were available in the exact form desired, but enough of them were secured to make this a viable option if that is what the Team and Community desire.
If the Community, Team and Tony like the idea or a part of it, then it is my intention to transfer ownership of the relevant domain(s) at a nominal fee to the organization. I am asking for 10 GBYTE and 10 x 2.11 GBB (BlackBytes) as payment from the Community funds for my efforts. If no one cares, then I guess it's my loss and I'm ok with that.

P.S. Please bear with me if it takes me a little time to respond to any feedback this post might get - I'm absolutely swamped at the moment.

While I don't have much to say about rest of your long post, this part just feels evil. Domains cost $10 and your trouble was worth 30 times of that + whatever the blackbytes are worth? You basically squatted the names to make a profit and then wrote a nice story around it. How many domains did you squatted? To me, it feels like these domains have already fallen into unsympathetic hands, but I guess it doesn't matter much because it hasn't been announced yet what the branding agency came up with.

Sorry for the inactivity, we are happy to announce the release of Alpha v0.1
https://medium.com/@pedity/what-more-can-you-do-with-stellar-pedi-alpha-v0-1-83dd2f2c569c

There is very little information on how the whole thing works. How can the content be on the blockchain and on the web st the same time? Who could possibly videos be stored on the blockchain (seems close to impossible to me) and if not where would they be stored? Being there no whitepaper which explains the tech this project is still quite a mystery. Also very little community involvement in this thread.
We share all information related to the project on medium.
https://medium.com/@pedity
To answer your questions:-
1. How can the data be stored on the blockchain.
Ans - We posted this on July 1 when we decided to code from centralized to decentralized platform
https://medium.com/@pedity/alpha-closure-pedi-wallet-roadmap-for-q3-q4-7fe6c1c45897
The data can be on web and blockchain both at the same time using ipfs (ipfs.io). Data structure is IPLD (ipld.io)
Regarding the flow of data, you can check it out live on blockchain (v0.1 is on testnet hence you will see data on testnet)
http://testnet.stellarchain.io/address/GBU4HMAZXRZJPHJVAYVTWQBSVNFSIZ2VN3WXOB3M37BP5IGUS5GDOIHS
The memo field is base64 encoded, so you will have to decode it from base64 and you will see the actual hash.

2. How can video be stored on blockchain itself ?
It is possible not directly but using IPFS, check the above reply about ipfs.io and how data can move in decentralized web.

3. Being there no whitepaper which explains the tech this project is still quite a mystery.
Ans. Our whitepaper is old but can be accessed on below link always as it doesn't explain technical aspects on how things work.
https://pedity.com/Pedity_Whitepaper.pdf

We will update this information more on github with our releases and since we plan to make code open source, this will be more open to read Smiley

4. Very little community is involved
Ans. We are small team and we haven't done any advertising. We have been focused only on work. We have done project release, wallet release and updates. Advertising is very important and we will do that after v0.3 when the code is more stable .

Let me know any other question you have in regards to anything about this project.

This is a good answer. The tech is a bit too complex for my personal immediate understanding, but at least now I know what I have to read to go deeper into it. I'll stay tuned, and wait for the new whitepaper.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]🚀🚀🚀Merit🚀🚀🚀[Proof-of-Growth][PoW][Vaults][Aliases][Escrow][No ICO] on: November 23, 2018, 11:48:11 AM
This is looking like a pyramid more than ever.
I don't know what more to say about your pyramid argument. A lot of folks have already tried to explain this. All PoS coins would be a pyramid scheme by your reasoning. And they are not.

i need help... i created my walet @Maicol792 how i can unlock the wallet?? thanks for help
Looks like TC11 is your inviter as per https://merit.disifi.com/wallet/Maicol792. He's available mostly on Discord. You can connect to him there to get your wallet unlocked. If he is unreachable or your wallet still remains locked, you can use my link (in my signature) to set up a new wallet with the same alias (all aliases are up for grabs until they get unlocked). I'll unlock your invite request.

So, you must be a big bag holder of merit then. Not all PoS coins is a pyramid, just Merit in particular. The way the whole thing is setup, is very complicated and not user friendly like how the developers claim this project is. It is in peoples best interested to recruit people under their accounts so they can reap rewards. In order to be able to gain significant amount of rewards, they need to get a hold of a lot of Merit. Very convenient that there is a Block sale of Merit going on right now,(one that is going to last for a year and half, especially in this down market).

Also, why is the wallets, and websites down all the time?Huh This is pathetic, it shows this team is not very good cause they are having multitudes of problems all the time, and are not quick to respond to questions, and not quick to fix the problems.

As I've pointed out in the past, even though the concept behind this coin and the distribution method - Proof of Growth - sound cool in theory, in the practice they seem to fail to be effective in providing a real network growth. Are there public stats about growth of adoption rate? Is growth accelerating? Is it slowing down? I guess that having Proof of Growth at its core, all these data should exist and be easily visible on charts.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [GEO] GeoCoin | GIS & GeoTechnologies on: November 21, 2018, 01:40:59 AM
I remember to have spotted this project years ago when it started, and I've found it interesting, but it was not clear how to use it and I've left. Now I have found it again and to my surprise in all these years you still managed to leave it totally unclear on how it works. I've gone through the website and there is ZERO explanation on how to use this Proof of Location. Lots os maps with zero info on how to use them. No mention whatsoever anywhere of a mobile wallet to be used to collect the coins around, I guess there should be one, but how it is called? How is one supposed to go and collect those coins? Your videos contain only slogans and zero tutorials. It looks like you are trying very hard to avoid mass adoption...
The GeoCashing interface is currently under development so you are unable to collect GEO off the map.  We have been working directly with beta testers to ensure that the functionality is well tested before we go for the launch.  We are currently working on improving the ban hammer logic, improving the user experience and adding is some backend tweaks.

https://twitter.com/geo_coin/status/1060336351340507136

I see. But since the Proof of Location is the distinctive aspect of GeoCoin I'd guess that most of the supply should be distributed by this method, but I see that only 25% of the coins are supposed to be distributed this way. Why so few? And when is the Proof of Location expected to be delivered?
When we migrated to the Ubiq Network and became an ERC20 token we capped our total supply at 4 million GEO.  We plan to distribute the remainder of the coin supply at a rate of roughly 50,000 GEO per year through the Proof of Location GeoCashing interface.  We are still under development as I mentioned above, we are aiming to launch the interface near the year end.

Sounds good, even though I don't really know what the "ban hammer logic" is Smiley
As for the video of John D Crypto it's nice but a bit confused, and it mentions that people are already hunting for GEO on the maps... but you said that the interface will be lauched near the year - so how can it be?

Cryptopia is very slow in anything which has to do with wallet updates. It could even take months. Better send them a reminder now and then...
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ▉ANN▉ MTNC ▉▉▉▉░ Masternodecoin ░▉▉▉ Multiple Privacy Center Platform on: November 17, 2018, 05:35:48 PM
after i downloaded the latest blockchain and have replaced the old one, my 4 masternodes work again without any problems.
but i also give the user Rune right, this project needs more attention from the dev and a development that we can see synonymous

Question is can you send coins to Cryptopia deposit wallet? Working masternodes aren't very useful if you can't sell your coins...

EDIT: OK, topia wallet is under maintenance, so lets wait until they update.

Yes, with Cryptopia in maintainence mode at least we avoind adding damage - people sending there coins which would never arrive and others withdrawing coins which would then one day disappear from your wallet as you switch to the correct chain Smiley

im still here and focus on MTNC,roadmap will be continue but it should be postponed becsuse of falling market.

But I'd recomment ideaupdater to continue developement without waiting for the bull run or he may have no community left by then. Other projects out there are going forward right now. The bull run is when you cash the reward of your efforts made during the painful periods of falling markets - but only IF you have made those efforts.
It's like you like a woman but she is still not ready to please you (not yet her season of love, maybe recovering from previous broken heart, etc = falling market), so you postpone bringing her flowers and making her a courtship to the time she will be ready for love. Of course, when her season of love will come she will chose another man, who was present near her during her period of "falling market".
Love and crypto have something in common: both need time and patience, and endurance.
