There is profit in holding and also buying at a lower price and selling at a higher price but i prefer holding and selling to make profit.I do advise we do not just hold but as well spread by buying also there is profit in both

if you could buy it in lower price than sell it in higher than of course it would be more profitable and whenever the bull run comes just wait and sell on its peak, but doing so is not a work of every person I think, so if you would focus only on btc than it is good doing such a thing.

it's the same as mate, just hold btc until the price goes up even though waiting for a long time. or buy at a low price, then go up a little in the near future and immediately sell it, just as profitable. because it has benefited from the purchase price.

In my opinion both are profitable but holding takes great patience to do because it's for long term while trading is a key to keep Bitcoin going because if no one trades it will be useless. Moreover trading carries great risk if you don't have enough knowledge to do it you may end up increasing your portfolio but you may also end up broke.
