Exactly that's a nice point mate, most newbies in gambling are normally convinced by the wins they normally encounter via social medias because most people normally showcase only their wins via social media making newbies to think that they can easily get rich through gambling fast. If you think about it, there's basically no incentive for them to make a video about it. Why bring competition?

That makes you realize that most of these videos and promoters are basically only making money from the videos themselves and not from the gambling they are doing.

In some cases they have an incentive to talk about it. I can think about two situations
1. The source is drying up soon and the person can monetize a bit more, like squeeze the last bit of profit on a strategy that will probably be obselete soon
2. Some strategies benefit from more people following them like some trading strategies

The reason why I'm not addicted to gambling is because even before I started to play gambling I already understand gambling and its addiction, and my understanding has helped me on how to follow up gambling. Sometimes I ask myself why do people get addicted to gambling, is it because they have no understanding or awareness about the addiction of gamble.

 I think majority of people who are addicted to gambling is because they do not understand gambling as beginners, the rules and the side effects of playing gambling excessively.

I think if gambling companies can help to giving beginners to understand gambling and addiction it will help and reduce the rate at which people get addicted o gambling, I mean good lesson for people to get understanding.  Or do gambling companies benefit from gamblers who are addicted, which the awareness of getting addicted can affect their business?.

Apart from that, when taking actions or decisions it is of course better to consider them carefully first. with those who are beginners who usually don't think about the losses that will occur, they can do whatever they want without thinking about the exact risks that will occur with the gambling they do, and with those who don't think about the risks that will occur, they usually easily become addicted and as a result makes them addicted to gambling by not being able to stop gambling, even though they lose at gambling, but because they have become addicted to gambling they will return to gambling to bet again.

I agree with what you said, when we introduce someone to gambling then we have to be able to introduce them well by telling them everything so that nothing untoward happens, but I myself would not do that, I would not introduce someone to gambling, even if If they want to do it, I'd better remind them not to do it even if they insist, maybe it's just advice and after that it's up to them.

I don't do blamw cane's for newbies because today ways of gambling, it's full of making money and making money, there is nothing really fun to begin with but we all pretend that's the main thing that make everyone to gamble but when you check very well, it's all about money these days. So when a new person joined, instead of them to learn how to maximize their skills to win, they will gamble everything continuesly untill they waste all that money and they continue like that till addiction set in.

It's really the responsibility of a gambler to understand gambling and casino responsibility to help a new gambler but because money is always the motivation of the two parties, nobody have time for that, the casino want to make money as possible and the gambler also want to make more money as possible, no time for learning and the person that suffer the most is the gambler because the casino is the one at the receiving end always.

It's hard, but it's still possible for them not to get addicted to gambling.

The fastest way is to not involve themselves into gambling at all. This is hard especially when the person is curious on how gambling works, and he's also seeing tons of winnings coming from other people. It's hard for them not to get involved into gambling because these might attract them to try it as well hoping that they will win.

Now that online gambling is gaining popularity and on a fast pace, it's hard for beginners not to get addicted into gambling. For me, I think the best way is to teach them the negative side of gambling. Teach them how gambling can affect one's life negatively. Teaching them the negative effects of gambling might be a reason for them not to try it at all. For addicted ones, this might be hard to do, but for beginners, this can be easily done I believe.

I don't think not getting involved at all is such an useful technique
I mean, observe other things like sex and drugs
you can tell teenagers to do what you think it right about it, but the best way is teaching them about the risks (and rewards) and giving them knowledge about it

though for some drugs I'd agree that the best way is staying away completely.

This very basic. You can't help a beginner person avoid becoming addicted to gambling if they can't even help themselves avoid gambling. Personal desire and discipline are important for a person to avoid gambling addiction. Eventhough many of us can offer support or help the decision and action must come from the person themselves. (Another topic about gambling addiction 😕) I'm having difficulties to understand OP that's why I only answered the title thread. lol

You have to be very careful when first starting gambling if you have no experience, because that is definitely when you are the most vulnerable to the psychological tricks that casinos and bookmakers use. You should definitely stick to a small and fixed amount, then not play for more than one day without a few days break in between. You should also start researching the odds to get a real appreciation for how unlikely it is for you to actually win. If you feel like you are starting to lose control, then you should probably abandon it altogether because it can quickly escalate from there. Putting deposit and daily gambling restrictions on your account (plus sticking to a single gambling site) will be very helpful so you don't over stretch.
