I was watching a live feed of the ISS, and you know what, I kept waiting and waiting and waiting for the it to go into a part of the earth that was dark, and it never did. I was so irritated because I needed to go shower, but it just kept in sunlight.

Could it all have been faked? A loop?

How as an individual can I know if the Earth is a sphere or a flat disc? What experiment can I do that doesn't involve trusting information from a 3rd party that would prove what the geometry really is?

The earth is a sphere connected by the planet, and on the ground, we can see that the earth is flat, but it is not so when we observe the surface of the earth on the satellite. Nowadays, many machines can exploit the image of the universe, but the amount of waste is increasing in the world.
