Go ahead ask them how a modern jet flies from Santiago Chile To Sydney Australia on a flat earth.  SA and AUS are literally on the opposite side of the flat earth map and NO commercial plane in existence today can make such a trip in a direct flight.  Oddly enough in the real world that direct flight is made several times a week because, wait for it, they fly around the south pole (not directly but you get the point).

Generally the answer will be the airlines are lying to us about something (they can never pin point what).  Or they somehow magically fly outside the ice ring and appear back on the other side somehow (like its a globe or some shit LOLOLOL).  Utterly ridiculous nonsense.

 I can observe for myself the rotation of the Earth, the existence of gravity and the changing of the configuration of the stars. All consistent with the idea of a spherical Earth and all in exact correlation to the fact the Earth is a sphere.
