How as an individual can I know if the Earth is a sphere or a flat disc? What experiment can I do that doesn't involve trusting information from a 3rd party that would prove what the geometry really is? https://i.imgur.com/O8IpMmi.jpgFirst thing you can do is tune in to CNN. If you see them broadcast or write that the Earth is flat, then your problem is solved. Earth is round, or more exactly an oblate spheroid. |

Just take a boat or a plane and use a gyroscopic compass and show us that you can't actually go around the world in a straight and end up in the same place? How come no one has done this? Oh wait, they have and everyone says it's possible to do it, you are the only one that claims is not possible yet no evidence has ever been provided. |

That's not how gravity works. The water will be "flat" no matter where you are on earth, because it is locally flat. |

I created this account after Black Arrow stole every penny I had on a bitcoin miner pre-order; I would have mined ~30 BTC if these Romanian assholes hadn't ripped me off. Alex Sovu the director of this company (named after the British aerospace program of the same name) needs to have more then just vice-grips applied to his fingers... a lot of people got scammed. |

How could anybody get away with stealing every penny you had on a Bitcoin miner pre-order? Isn't it because you are lacking a little in the way you think and do business? If you were just a little more insightful, you could have prevented your loss. Correlate your miner loss to your whole life. If you do this, you just might find that there is some of your thinking has a blind spot you don't even realize exists. Twist and adjust your thinking to see that blind spot. Doing so will help you in your whole life... and especially regarding how you have been duped into believing in flat earth.  |
