I have an idea for a use-case-scenario of GMC.

If somebody wanted to take the time to set up a site that accepted GMC for game accounts, that would be cool.

Selling WoW gold/max level characters etc. has been an industry for a long time now.
LoL accounts/old steam codes/minecraft/ etc. Anything which needs time to grind to max features.

Partnering with apps for in-game purchases is great but the only downside is you need approval from the developers. Reselling, not so much.

Just FYI that we've added GMC to be mined on our multipool: www.xpool.ca and miners have the option to keep their GMC just by entering their GMC address in their user settings.

It seems like they're only in use by shitty Web page choose-your-own-adventure click fests... I'd love for a 3d mmo game on mobile (using game credits as in-game currency)!

Update on the GMC! pool. It's been successfully migrated to a much larger server. I still got some backend tweaking to do to make it run smoother, but it should be ok now. One of you guys with large hashpower, could you do me the favor of pointin' that cannon my way and see if it is reporting correctly now? give it at least twelve minutes, because the stats only update every three. That will be changing, since the new server can handle the load

What are you talking about? There's no game like that that I've seen that uses GMC.

Although anyone can use GMC of course since it's free and open.

You know Google takes 30% of every in app payment for fees. So a developer or company like supercell is losing 30% every transaction!

Does gamecredits have a working in game payment system yet? If so how does it work to eliminate the need for Fiat payments somewhere in the process?

What is the main focus of this coin? A payment system and economy for only games created by gmc? Or a payment system which drastically cuts fees for everyone on app stores and on pc's?

I was afraid of that. I think I figured out where the bottleneck is. bigger server is giving better performance everywhere except stratum. Acidpool is using NOMP as the stratum, and not having the problems I am, so I'm going to switch to that. I'll keep y'all posted. It should be done today.

If so, it wasn't the dev team I suspect more that people see us working toward real world goals. Also, with the ethereum debacle, prices are down almost across the board. But I think the early suckers investors in that are just about out of gas, so things ought to turn around pretty soon.
