what's the status on the next version? can't wait for new features. What about a decentralized forum? Cheesy

I guess 1,5-2 weeks...maybe a little earlier maybe a little later. This is just a rough estimate.
Decentralized board is no problem with the current technology.

This is an infinite loop AT that delivers those rewards on each block.

Basic text formatting is already possible! You can use the following html tags:
a, b, blockquote, br, cite, code, dd, dl, dt, em, i, li, ol, p, pre, q, small, span, strike, strong, sub, sup, u, ul, and appropriate attributes.

e.g. <b>bold</b>!

What version was this put in?

I still think it should ban the exchange addresses, especially BTer since they're stealing Qora users funds. Why reward them for theft? Undecided

No, you can't do any blacklisting, that would give this coin a bad reputation.

BTW I'm also waiting for bter to release my QORA!

It is not the main function of the Qora. This AT loop can contain anything you want. If you are rich in qora, you can program your own. I think that for the health of the network, for example, is better that small wallets receive a 1,000 qora reward or something. Large address can receive what is Qora default.

would be nice, but it's a no go. you can't censor a decentralized chain. well... you can, but that's the killing blow to the reputation

Some development updates:

The last days we've added the following, which will be also part of the next version:

Namestorage enhancements:
-Dedicated website to see the namestorage history.
This page allows you to see all the changes done by a given name ordered by date.

Social Network enhancements:
-Hashtag support
You will be able to place hashtags like e.g. #qora in your posts and will have the ability to get all posts with a given hashtag.
-Deletion of posts
You will be able to delete your own posts or posts that have been placed in blogs that you own.

Keep in mind that this is a community project, although we have many ideas to enhance things even more we also would like to have suggestions and feedback by everyone out there:
What is missing e.g. regarding social network?
What do you guys want to see in the next version.
Any feedback would help a lot!

I'd like to see text formatting inside posts  Smiley

I already used that here e.g.
http://qora.co.in:9090/index/blog.html?blogname=skerberus

Thank you! Good to know!

Can we also see it visually (e.g. through a bar with buttons) when we edit a post? I think it's a good idea.

The person who implements the infinite loop can ban anyone they want (from my research), it's their money, it's a gift. If they don't want to give money to thieves, that's their business, as it is if they do.

I just don't think it's right to reward thieves, but it's not my infinite loop. I will create one, one day, that will ban all exchanges (hopefully) and will only reward individual forgers.

Sorry for misinterpreting your post. Sure, in the AT code it would be allowed to blacklist the exchanges (especially bter  Grin), but is this possible without altering the wallet code? I don't think so.

but is this possible without altering the wallet code? I don't think so.

I discussed it with vbcs a while back (v21) and at that time it was possible with the existing wallet, unless I misunderstood (I dont' think I did, perhaps he can clarify).

They are thieves !!!! They are decieving people letting to deposit cryptos and then telling them , sorry your deposit is stuck . ( meaning thank you for your donation ,you will never get it back)

it's not that positive. they're just not liquid. means they're showing a balance for coins they don't have. that's my guess

They've held our Qora deposit for 12 weeks in the wallet they forge with and receive more funds with daily while claiming the wallet doesn't work.
