Money is unreal, meaning imaginary, intangible - a concept.

Currency is NOT money, but merely represents money.

Thats true,  the concept of Bitcoin to the people seems so different in what people are thinking I think they should aware that Bitcoin is not physical money which we can bring anywhere just like the fiat. Bitcoin is a digital currency which counts as payment for every effort and services that worker is doing I think we should character a currency based on its existence and features. Bitcoin is different way to complicated but for me better than Fiat.

So, is bitcoin money or currency?
It is a little bit weird question. Currency and money are synonyms. Currency/money is an instrument that is generally accepted as payment for goods and services and also used as a medium of exchange. So bitcoin is a cryptocurrency that can be exchanged for other currencies, products and services.

It is neither as it had not yet been acepted in most places officially and does not have an origin. It's more like a stock. Sure you can pay with stocks in very few places, but it is not a currency nor money. Sure, bitcoin is more widely accepted, but still not as much.

This issue remains unresolved. While the path of development bitcoin does not involve any of them. Unfortunately, now bitcoin is becoming a means of speculation. Perhaps the situation will change if crypto gets legal status around the world.

I believe Bitcoin belong to both of the above mentioned because it serves both purpose and at the same time its serves as an assets or investment tools that brings about good return on investment.

For me, I do consider Bitcoin to be both as a currency and also a money. Bitcoin is money for me since based on your given definition of it, it is a medium of exchange in form of coins or banknotes in which Bitcoin do possess but in the virtual matter since it is a digital one. Bitcoin on the other hand was a currency because obviously, it is coined as a cryptocurrency because of its virtual characteristic to be a currency that is digitally accredited that is why it is called as a cryptocurrency. Actually it is considerably obvious to be a currency because we are all capable to use it as a monetary system not just for a specified country but even worldwide.

I think it still a currency because bitcoin is a virtual money that we can't control nor hold it physically unlike money as of the given definition it is a form of coins therefore it's not. Bitcoin is a currency or bitcoin?  It's not matter anymore as long as you were benefited by bitcoin and you can use it in a good way.

In my own opinion, bitcoins today can be called as a money as well since there are a lot of people who are using cryptocurrency to purchase products on the online stores because it has faster transactions and it was just the same as credit cards.

In general, cryptos aren't really money or currency. They're more like a way to hold money or make transactions and your profit with money

Currency. Because bitcoin is so worthy just for use in the online world, so bitcoin can also be said as a digital currency, as well as an asset that can generate good profits.

I think it's a little bit of both. As it is a form of exchange it is a system of money in general use but it doesn't represent the form of exchange in a parricular country.

For me Bitcoin is a currency and it will consider also a money. You can call it a digital currency that converted into a fiat money in every country to pay all of your purchases or you can use it as a payment system through online transaction. Bitcoin is a form of virtual currency that you can use as a money to spend your expenses.

Bitcoin is a currency because it can be used to buy anything that you are interested on a online store, another thigng is that, it was also good for long term investment because of the market's volatility.
