Why do people hate?

People hate because  of self pity and  envy, they  hate because  they keep comparing  themselves on what they have and who they are. They hate because they envy on what others have achieved.

Its all about jealousy and ego that makes people to hate as they keep on comparing themselves to other and if other person is better then him that gives him a feeling of insecurity and he starts feeling that he is not better then the other person which leads to hatred and that is the common trait in most of the people around us so instead of hating others one should try to improve himself.

The path to evil is very easy while on the other hand, the path to goodness is difficult. Most people tend to choose the easy path, but what reward is in there? I don't really know why people hate, but for me, I think it's a matter of insecurity, there's something to the person that you yourself don't have, or maybe some kind of negative attitude.

What about predestination and genetics? Some people believe we are born good or bad and our path is already decided. It's possible to fight it and change it but if we do nothing we'll end up on this predestined path.

I think there are 2 kinds of Hate anyway, First there is Hate which I think came from God. But why do we so easily succumb to feed the evil wolf? Why do we hate and feed it and react hatefull towards others?

many humans are less able to be grateful for the conditions they feel, they always feel less and different from others, they can not accept the difference of their fate so that they arise envy without looking for their own mistakes, or how others can succeed whereas they are not, and in the end they can only hate others only.
it would be wise if we can not only envy or hate others, we better introspection ourselves first, we locate our mistakes that cause us can not succeed, we embrace others to be able to share and give guidance so that we can follow the steps of success they.
my advice we do not easily hate others because we do not have what they have, we just have to be patient, self-introspection and socialize with others in order to achieve the same.

People hate because they are hurt. They don't feel hating someone if that someone didn't make them feel hurt. Especially when one of their loved ones were brutally hurt by another individual. Of course they will hate the people who did that and that's when hatred developed in their heart and mind.

That's true. Hate comes from within. For me, I think, people hate because they envy other people or what other people have. It is also like being insecure of a person. In order to stop the hate, one must be contented of what he or she has. No more no less.

I believe that the main reason why people hate is envy. People will always want more, the chance of us being contented with what we have is just so little. This is because we always look for something new, for something more beautiful, for something that other people have, and that is where envy will start growing. Now, wanting to have something and failing to get it will lead to frustration, you are frustrated because they have it but you dont. That is where hate comes in.

Possibly, HATE also works as our defense mechanism.  There are times, if not most, that you feel HATE towards someone else if that someone treated you bad.  Example, you've learned that your girlfriend is cheating on you. Because of this you felt anger and you decided to break up with her and vowed not to see her again.  You're doing it so that whatever she does with her life your are not involved anymore thus it will lesser the pain you have.  Thank you.

Jealousy and selfishness would be my answers.
People hate others that do well for themselves, or are doing better than they are , the stronger, fasters, smarter etc are usually disliked.

Selfishness because most of the traits and things that people do that we hate, we do ourselves!  Look in a traffic jam, if someone switched lane in front of you, you hate them, but then we you switch lanes you hate the person who won't let you in!

Yeah jealousy and selfishness would also be my answer,
If I feel jealous because someone is to clingy in my girl I would really hate it.
Hate the person and hate the feeling.
