government is already adapting and working with banks, there are some of them which are using blockchain technology to overcome probably bitcoin

i doubt it will stay there and watch bitcoin sucking its fiat(scam) currency
In many developed countries like japan, usa, their government work with bitcoin and their government start accepting bitcoin as a payment method. In some country bitcoin work with government to solve their unemployment issues and also help to improve their country economic. While some government ban bitcoin due to some criminal activities. Bitcoin doesn't pay tax and due to blockchain software money transaction are not traceable and this thing attract criminal minded people to use bitcoin. So these are the thing which makes its future dark  Shocked

now the government has learned about blockchain technology and already know the potential of blockchain owned, whether it will affect the existing banking and financial system. why the government is not ready to use bitkoin, what because they have not been able to control it? what they already have a plan to make use of blockchain, so their goal is like having something that can exist beside their system, that way they plan it.

The government and bitcoin must be interconnected because the government can still set the development of the it might even I think that the government could banned bitcoin in access in his country, but like her it is not possible because like any bitcoin will be able to help the economy of the residents in a state

Governments and bitcoin are incompatible by definition, as bitcoin is just a way to avoid government control.
If in the present it seems that there is a kind of acceptance, is because they try to put their hands on the blockchain

We can never declare that something is incompatible with the government unless it's against the latter. Well, legally speaking, bitcoin isn't legal yet but I must say that it is not illegal as well. What makes this two seems to be not alike is that, the government has not yet accepted the use of it.

Well, most of the governments does not like to publicly declare crypto as a "legal asset", however they will request you to file crypto in your personal tax return form. By doing this, they de facto do accept crypto as a "legal asset".

The sharing economy is just going to continue to grow, and governments will be challenged to understand and manage its implications while embracing its benefits. However, governments will be at a significant disadvantage if they wait too long and newer technologies and markets will have already been developed that do not follow traditional models. Think of the following: Uber is the world’s largest taxi service and owns no cars. Airbnb provides lodging yet does not own real estate.

How will local governments adapt to these new ways of doing business that are disrupting traditional business models? All we know now is that governments are a long way from even contemplating and accepting this new reality.
I think the time is very near wherein bitcoin and governments from different countries in the world would collaborate to make up a more efficient way of living for everyone. Local governments can start entertaining bitcoin by accepting as a paymeny for some transactions or in buying some stufds. It may not be a good idea that the two would unite but it still has a lot of advantage.

Governments probably still don't understand what is this strange thing called bitcoin, as, in the past, they didn't understand the internet.
I remember at the beginning of the new economy how much freedom, anonymity and opportunities there were on the net, before bureaucrats came with their f...ing rules. So it will be with bitcoin.

The problem these days is, that in the most gouverments just works old people. Old people are overwhelmed nowadays for everything where you need a pc. SO these people try to reign a country but have no idea what happens in our country and in the world. It these people where a little bit more open minded, they could understand and accept cryptocurrencies and make the world to a better place.

That is very right to say in fact bitcoin is the need of the day and specially in modern time bitcoin is now becoming more popular, even governments are now showing more interest in bitcoi i think that very soon bitcoin will use as legal currency in most of the countries, as bitcoin is now the most popular crypto currency of the worlld and become more popular from time to time.

Governments at present don't really understand the impact that bitcoin and cryptocurrency will have on economy and - much more - on politics and life style.
I predict histerical reactions... :-)

At present, it seems to me that government are just watching, trying to understand if there is any sense in the whole bitcoin history or it's just a nerd mania.
When they'll realize the power of bitcoin, probably they'll try to find a way to taxate/control it.

The government doesn't use Bitcoin for the same reason everybody else doesn't use it- it's ust not very useful. It's slow, it doesn't have a stable value, it's incredibly expensive, and it's a nascent technology. You don't trust your economy to something that has been around for less than 10 years and is unreliable and finicky.  People expecting crypto to replace the dollar just don't have a realistic understanding of how things work, and they therefore have unrealistic expectations.

Agree with you jaysabi. it is impossible for governments to adopt systems outside of their power. you know that bitcoins can not be controlled surely the government will not use that system for their main finances. after all the fact now is many countries are starting to ban bitcoin including my country. so now I'm a little worried about the development of bitcoin in the future. because believe it or not I think legalization and government recognition is very important for the development of bitcoin in the future..

May country already recognize bitcoin as an investment? Not all governments are against Bitcoin, many will accept it because they know that they can get a lot of money on taxes if they grow, but they will not only take care, and Bitcoin will be used for a very attractive market and only from nearby.

Not likely to cooperate local governments will try to adapt whats on trend but it doesnt mean they cant regulate it or ban. If this would be investigated thoroughly Bitcoin can be banned through any countries considering the anonymous paying and can lead to drug trade or elligal buy and sell. This can be a threat to any country.
