I have bought little more to diversify my holdings. I like the idea based on what ENRG is being built and being upgraded with enhanced features and use case. I saw it has been at all time high in last weeks. People have bought at those high rates means it will bounc eback in near future. It could be great investment in this project.

The all time high was 19.2k sat when someone bought all coins up to that range, same thing happened few days later when the coin was pumped up to ~14k sat.
It came down pretty quickly.

I do believe in this project but I don't see five digits sat for ENRG in 2017.

I 'm happy with current value and we shall were we are in 2018.
The fork gives so much new possibilities for application so I expect the value stays or go up when we have EnergyParty applications.
It is a level new investors can step in if they believe in the future of EnergyCoin.
So much possibilities only now no public sharing of roadmap.

We work on that.
In a few weeks the website is online.
Some people working on that are now on vacation.
No need to rush, development for real energy application takes time and people know we working on that.
The new logo is the beginning of new branding for EnergyCoin and the focus is ordinairy people with smartmeter, bicycle and smartphone.

I am now a start-up after 26 years of working for an employer in Environmental Services Business.
In the beginning of 2014 I saw the opportunities for cryptocurrencies for my work field Geo-Information and Sustainable Environment.
Now we talk about blockchain instead of cryptocurrencies but the idea is basically the same.

We have soon EnergyParty platform available and that gives so huge possibilities for blockchain application.
I never lost my fait in the future of EnergyCoin and I know there are a lot of supporters that share my vision.
The current value for EnergyCoin is a fair value for new investors and existing investors who want to take some profit.
When the real applications come to live then the current value is very low but you have to be patient then rewards will come for sure.
Quit my job to make EnergyCoin a succes and I shall not stop developing business cases for EnergyCoin.

Since the wallet is empty anyway, you can just try again on another computer and see if the problem is specific to that setup.   I dont remember that it starts off encrypted normally, I would just start again.    If you do a search for wallet, it'll find all the files in a directory under your user files.   I would only ever move those to a new folder and then it'll just recreate everything again.

Take a screenshot maybe if the problem repeats

Did you have any EnergyCoin wallet before?

The wallet should not start encrypted and locked the first time it loads. It's likely that you already have an old wallet in your EnergyCoin folder.

Stop your EnergyCoin client first. Then go to your EnergyCoin folder, which should be located at:

C:\Users\YourUserName\Appdata\Roaming\EnergyCoin

Move the old wallet.dat to somewhere else (do not delete it unless you're sure there's no fund inside it) or rename it.

Make sure there's no file named "wallet.dat" inside the folder and start the EnergyCoin client again. It'll automatically create a new wallet.dat for you.

now I have encrypted wallet and tried to withdraw here for test, but wallet says (out of sync)  and I dont see any incoming transactions here.
how to "activate it"? I also see "0 active connections to EnergyCoin network.

In September have more news for our EnergyParty platform.
For now migration to the new blockchain is top priority.

Hello CoolStoryBro,

To get active connections, copy all the addnode info from https://chainz.cryptoid.info/enrg/#!network, put them into your EnergyCoin.conf inside your EnergyCoin folder, and restart your client.

You may also download the file EnergyCoin.conf from our mega link.

If you don't want to sync from scratch, just download the blockchain data from our EnergyCoin Bootstrap Server directly. It already contains the EnergyCoin.conf required.

The "for mint only" allows you to stake your coins with better security. It doesn't affect the check balance functionality.

Still there are 20 nodes running v 1.5 and only 11 nodes v1.6!
There are I know about 10 RPI online they waiting for update v1.6
And MacOs is also waiting and I hope this week new client.

It is not much work to update , only the change of the new blockchain from bootstrap is maybe difficult for some people.
If you need help post here or send us PM!
If you keep using v1.5.x your stake after the fork has no value because there is no market.
For EnergyCoin there is only one blockchain and that is v1.6!
