I just say hello to ENRG community, Behind the scenes we working hard on development and talking to interesting parties. We dicided to stay below the radar with what we are developing because other can copy our idea and have maybe more funds to realise them. We have a new investor who invested 4 BTC into ENRG so more coins are in strong hand. Just be patience and stake your ENRG to accumulate your share and support the network. If you prove you have a fresh setup EnergyCoin on Ubuntu Mate for Rasberry PiThen you can get 1000 ENRG as reward if you are registred on our Slack channel https://energycoin.slack.comAsk me or Peter by PM for an invitation and join us there! Happy staking, Brian

Hello Beoga, Yes, this wallet does allow issuing assets and exchange like NXT. But our wallet has more features than NXT. For example, our wallet allows direct trading between assetA and assetB. But for NXT, you need to trade assetA with NXT and assetB with NXT separately. For the betting section, it works exactly like Counterparty. That is, you need to publish your feed URL pointing to your own domain first and broadcast it. There are quite some tutorials openly available. Here is one of them: http://counterparty.io/docs/enhanced_feed_info/Peter

I was trying to create an asset but first time I have got an error. Seems because not all fields was filled or may be because I removed checkbox 'divisible'.

Hi I just created commtwo And also made an divisible one. Do you have 100 XEP in jour wallet? You can create extra by burn. @Peter what can be the reason Beoga gets an error? Try again, Brian

@Brian, I guess Beoga just said he got an error the first time for the reasons he stated. He should be able to pass through if he tried again by filling up the fields correctly. I was trying to create an asset but first time I have got an error. Seems because not all fields was filled or may be because I removed checkbox 'divisible'.
Hello Beoga, Every time you issue a new asset, it's similar to composing a new transaction. If you miss some fields or not input appropriately, the system will alert you. That's normal. Because the system is just trying to ensure that the transaction is composed correctly, can be accepted into the blockchain, and can be parsed and be decoded by the system later on. Peter

Hi cryptonit, Thank you for being investor in EnergyCoin. XEP exists only in testnet. The devteam is concidering options how and if we distribute XEP if we lauch on mainnet. XEP is created when ENRG is burned so in all cases ENRG community profits from creation XEP becouse less ENRG in circulation. But we concider not distribute "free" XEP and also not trade it on exchanges. The reason is that we have then complete controll on creaton of tokens and these tokens are the core of our business case! We see for now no use for XEP other then creation of tokens. For the trading of tokens there is ENRG needed as transaction fee and that and gives some extra profit for staking wallets. I think running your wallet 24/7 gives you a nice incentive of about 1-4% ENRG on year basis. I hope you understand our vision and see the big view for EnergyCoin and the value we create for ENRG with KwH-tokens in EnergyExchange. Try testnet and I send you some test ENRG/XEP. Take care, Brian

looking forward to more info about the mainnet XEP implementation when and how we burn ENRG and a comparisation of the planed usecases for ENRG and XEP so we can decide how we distribute our ENRG (how much we burn for XEP how much we keep as ENRG)

Hello tdokta, It's not complicated. In fact, we've created an installation script to make it very easy. https://energycoin.eu/energycoin-on-ubuntu-mate-for-rasberry-pi/It should work. And we know already there are multiple users who have run this script to install EnergyCoin RPI client successfully on Ubuntu Mate. The version of Ubuntu Mate the script has been made working is 16.04 LTS (rasberry Pi version), with a fresh install. Peter
