The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Any news on when we can use the site again and the teeth markets?
Did not want to try until someone lets us know it is OK. I want to check my balance.

Some updates as to what is happening now would be nice.

Also I got an invalid certificate trying to log in 5 or 6 hours ago:
It is not the same as the btcpool one that I was getting yesterday.

gorilla.exchange uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed.
The certificate is only valid for WIN-BTSM3MS0G9T

(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)

Is this a valid cert for the https://gorilla.exchange?
I do not want to set an exception and continue to site if it is not valid.

What should the valid certificate be named and where is it issued from?

I am requesting a pro bono block explorer for TEETH due to the recent theft of 10% of the coin total.

ANN:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1032348.0

GIT:
https://github.com/iGotSpots/GorillaTeeth

Hi,

I ask for a contribution to hosting costs of $120 in BTC per year, or half for 6 months.
This includes rich list and all current features, as well as all future features.

Let me know if you are interested!

Because you can not read I personally would not give you 17 cents ever, thank you.
Maybe someone from the community would be willing to donate, so I will post this on the forum.
Thank you for the ~response.

I'd wait till the exchange rep gets back and see what they say, I'm sure they'll be back on shortly with more news

Sorry to hear about the theft on the exchange..Some really annoying peeps out there trying to disrupt the hard work of kind people. Anyway thanks to Paul and Spots for the updates and keeping us informed.. I appreciate the hard work and effort. I will use the exchange as much as I can to support.

I think the attacker is one of those who missed the swap.
Check the whole thread and find those who missed it.
Of those, see who were searing, insulting etc.
90% the attacker is one of those.

Hi Guys

Ok well as you can see im still here

Make sure that you clear your browser cache please
that you are getting the RIGHT ssl cert

The SSL Cert had nothing to do with the attach.

We asked c-cex to suspend trading on there  Exchange and it was done VERY fast so thaks very much for that.

I know Spots is still not here due to his ban but he is on IRC  MMXIV on freenode

I will be turning the wallets and the trading soon.

Anyone who has not had there TEETH from the swap
PLEASE send me a PM DO NOT POST ON THE THREAD
and i will send you a PM when its done.

As for the attack well I will be releasing more information as I can.

thanks for your support guys.

To be totally honest i was not looking forward to all the comments
but you all proved me wrong  Smiley

Just a FYI
I will be rebooting the exchange a few times this morning

Server attack update (05/06/2015 0400 AM GMT-5)
Yesterday, GorillaEx was the victim of a successful attack resulting in a significant loss of GorillaTeeth
I am happy to report an update on this quickly evolving situation. Less than 24 hours ago, GorillaEx had an issue that was exploited. We have made contact with the person responsible for this situation and all funds have been recovered. We are happy to annouce that every coin has been returned (minus transaction fees, that we will obviously cover) and the issue that allowed this to happen is being resolved as I type this out

It is a lucky turn of events that the person involved was very professional about the situation, and I hope becomes an asset for us in the future. Everyone involved in the Gorilla branding project acts on a professional level. Nobody was mad that this happened. Everyone involved has handled the situation very calmly and professionally, and I would like to personally thank everyone for the fast (less than 24 hour) resolution. All funds were going to be covered by myself and the GorillaEx team in the worst case scenario, but thankfully all coins have been recovered, so that does not need to happen

We fully understand the gravity of the situation that has just taken place. We asked you to trust us, I vouched for everything, and we let you down. Just please keep in mind this is a very new thing for everyone here and mistakes will happen. In the end, no coins were lost, and a few different issues with GorillaEx have been brought to light and fixed within 24 hours

Thank you to everyone who has helped us test the sites, promote the Gorilla brand, and all the coins involved. We look forward to a future of quickly changing, fast-paced development
