As a tip for the future: it's sometimes better to maintain a low reward pow phase synchronously to pos instead of going full pos to keep miners AND traders..

Yes that is our plan a POW / POS period, when hybrid wallet is released.

We will have a new wallet released before POS - so a blockdate is not set in concrete yet.

The update makes way for a hybrid POW/POS wallet - once completed then will have a short period of POW / POS then switching over to Pure POS.

The next development step for a smooth transition to the PoW/PoS Hybrid stage is already in process. The BTA source code is being updated to bitcoin/litecoin core 0.10.x.

I agree with the idea of keeping a PoW / PoS Hybrid wallet.  If the price of Bata remains above 5k even 10k would be nice.  Keeping a 1 BTA PoW block reward would help chain stability.  There are a lot of Scrypt miners out there looking for something profitable to mine.  Would need to a build a math model to see what levels are feasible on both PoW and PoS participants.

MAC Compile required

Kudos to the dev, this is the first coin I am able to compile on OS X without modifying the QT file.
Wallet looks great!

Do you have a MAC QT for the community? virus checked of course

I'll try to add the libraries needed so the wallet can run on Macs without the dependencies later this afternoon.

One of these days I will get a Mac setup so I can test things out fully.

I have a Linux static binary if anyone needs it.  If you are running Ubuntu or Debian, than it should compile and run straight from GitHub source.

Please let us know if there are any issues with the wallet.

I also managed to compile SpaceCoin on OS X. If I can link the libraries for BATA I'll do the same for SpaceCoin.
