Clearly my message got across...not.

$11 usd trading today (across all exchanges)

Not very reassuring to say the least.

In defense of the performance lately, this state of trading is the same through the most of crypto.  The Ethereum scandals have sucked a lot of the momentum out of non-Bitcoin markets.

I don't believe cranking out unstable development code is a way to attract new investments into crypto either.  pc888 is keeping you in the loop that things are happening in the background, and some newer and interesting things are coming.  The platform shift that is needed, will happen, and it should happen in the first release.  Not 10 different wallet updates to achieve the same.

Bata still has a lot of potential ahead of it.

Only so long you can bet on potential and actually face the fact that there is nothing here.

Months later and you've still done nothing to provide value to this coin.

A reminder that an active developer is simply not enough. People actually want utility.

You reach out to the community for input, that's nice, but it shows your lack of direction yourself.

It all lies on you as well. One man shows typically don't end well.

Figure out what you want this coin to do, and do it. Barter is really really stupid. All of crypto and all markets are barter, exchanging one symbol for another.

You had the anon angle and it seems like you just threw that shit out. This is just another coin.

In your defence you may have missed the previous posts showing this is not a one man show.

Your opinion that Barter is really really stupid is just that, an opinion. If you understand the model of corporate Barter systems then you would understand that we are building a crypto version of it, that is decentralized and replacing a company issued trade dollar with BTA.

The anon part is on hold, not thrown away.

Every step of the way is put on this forum for all to see for transparency.

We could have done it the easy way and folk a hybrid coin, but that was ruled out as it would not be a smooth transition or fair on those who were left behind.

Work is being done, as Midnight miner stated - it is your choice whether you wish to "believe".

We are giving everyone an opportunity to "believe", which in this market people are willing to "believe" in ICO's, Crowdfunding and VC investment, even before anything is started.

I am not asking for money up front, I am not actually asking you to do anything.

I am prompting people to give them an opportunity, before we release all.

Plain, clear and simple.

Yes traditional POS type coins have not gained anything but bagholders, which is not good for the coin or growth.

We have taken time with mapping and the mathematics regarding the POS / POW reward system.

Whether one is a stakeholder or just new BTA, the opportunity to obtain BTA must be as fair as possible.

These steps have been taken with measured and checked balances.

We will not follow the path other POS coins have taken, as it have proven to fail to the coin and the community.

I have advised Bittrex of the update to whitepaper, as it looking like volume is not going to get us across the line.

https://www.bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-BTA

There is a lot of BTA available to buy, anything between 2000 sats to 4000 sats is a great buy considering staking & Barter Market / System is on the way.

Haha I wouldn't even try to poke it with a 100 ft stick.

Buying it now is like putting ur ass down the hornet's nest.

The jokes are on you. You can't poke a coin...it's virtual.
I imagine that putting your behind on a hornet's nest would make it swell, so I guess you're implying that the price will swell - good prediction.

All I can say it that development team should be testing the platform during the holidays. Timelines are for full time, funded developers - we are making progress.

Dev support advised that I should have a working model (unreleased) in the holiday period.

Keep tuned.

Think of it as rather than BTA trying to replace BTC, but as a leverage towards better trade and earning potential.

In a traditional barter platform a company or corporate gives "credit to barter traders if they do not want to swap good, but sell them. The traders are in debt to the company who provides the credit, charging them interest.

In BATA's model no company is involved or creates credit. If you don't want to swap you are paid BTA, which with POS enabled will earn you money.

An example of a corporate model for Barter Trade. Bata (BTA) aims to replace a Trade Credit as per graphic with BTA, which is valued against Bitcoin. The Barter system is not owned by a company, but by peers, decentralising across the globe for local trade or international. The BTA Blockchain is secured by Proof of Work (POW), in addition we are adding Proof of Stake (POS), so that BTA is available to all, not just those with special hardware.
Leverage your stock, services & business relationships.
