I can't say if this is the case, but previously Adam has said the slack is much busier than the forum. I am not on the slack.
I don't think viral dev has posted here in ages. He used to answer the tech questions regularly.
Oh well, no sense in selling out just cos it's quiet. It is the weekend. Watch the Tour de France

Maybe you have a new way to burn the supply on mind. You just have to select the most profitasble for it, and make it take place. Thats the problem with crypto, not a lot of coins go far away than a month old, because dev leaves and so on. On the other hand, viral has a system to benefit in the long term |

Adam, could you please explain why the source code seems no longer to be publicly available? I get a 404 on: https://github.com/viraldev/viralWith well-hidden exploits, such as the Pharma hashrate manipulation, out in the wild, it makes me nervous when code suddenly becomes unavailable for review. Thanks! When it comes to any code matters for wallets, I have no expertise in this field that is the wallet dev, I will forward this to him. Adam G. This has not been addressed. Without this being addressed in a prompt fashion the who coin is suspect. You must have code available for scrutiny; especially one that allows oauth in it. Please fix this ASAP! |

If you can't find viral.conf, then you need to create one and put in the nodes. What OS are you running? Windows?

Make a text file and rename it to Viralcoin.conf.
Upload it to
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Viral\
Restart the QT

Indeed this is a great op for people to get cheap VIRAL before it shoots back up, this has happened several times now and so many people in this thread and on bittrex in general have made some serious profits buying the dips and selling much higher, it's really easy money being made here, no real science to it, just people's anxiety getting to them so they sell their viral at a loss to people like myself who scoop it up and then turn around and slap it onto the sell book at +2000 or more sats on top of my buy price and wait till it's sold. Often just being silent and not posting for a couple days is enough to shake up a whack of people to liquidate their VIRAL at a loss, falling into the hands of ours who are looking to profit from such anxiety that plagues many alt coin investors. Even discussing this reality has no effect on the irrational decisions of those out there who keep repeating the same certain loss trades, over and over again. Adam G. |
