May I ask that the dev team gives us dates for any developments they plan to release as this makes trading easier.
I sell auroracoin as a broker in south Africa and I need to communicate auroracoins roadmap to my clients.
In the past, developments such as the end of the airdrop, the burn and the launch of the website have resulted in predictable increases in price.
I expect furture developments to affect the price in the same way and if the dev team communicates dates for these developments in advance that can help auroracoin traders and brokers like me make better decisions that are in the best interest for the auroracoin ecosystem.
Thanks for the great work so far, go team!
How are South Africa people taking to AUR? Will they pump the price up over 40k?

Thanks for the info. The more I learn about the economic and social situation in Iceland the more unique and fascinating it seems. Even though it is slightly off-topic, what sort of Bitcoin scene do you have over there?

Are you a hater or a participator? There's plenty of aurora love to go around man. I do my public relations work over at www.aurorapr.co.vu check it out. Do you own auroracoin? Do you buy, sell or hold? What country are you from? Do you share auroracoin story with your friends and family? For your information, I'm part of the dev team. I've already discussed my AUR holdings in this thread. My country is listed in the OP under the team list. I buy and hold, and sell when money is needed for development on my end, regardless of price. I've told everyone close to me about what I'm doing with AUR, but I'm not marketing it to them because they don't live in Iceland. Any other questions? -Fuse

Well you can't use Bitcoin for anything in Iceland, similar to Auroracoin. Perhaps there are a few merchants who will accept it but they are unknown to me. You can't buy or sell Bitcoin unless you use https://localbitcoins.com/, which is unreliable and prices often inflated. As stated before we can't buy USD and SWIFT it to any exchange to buy Bitcoins, because of the currency controls. People here know Bitcoin is digital money similar to Auroracoin.

Fuse delivers exceptional contributions to AUR by working very hard at new code soon to be released in various wallets and tools. Also "the guy that uses the name Baldur Odinson" (sorry, don't know how else to call you ) has put in a lot of effort to raise awareness to AUR for quite a while now with great articles on his websites. I think we are all working on getting this project forward in our own way. One thing I can set straight regarding the usage of the confusing account name "Baldur Odinson" is that I had PM contact with the owner a while ago and he tried to change it by our request. Unfortunately this is not possible without exceptional support from the BCT dev's. I just feel it's fair to disclose this, for I don't think there is intentional harm done here. So, kuddos to you all, we are achieving great things together

So, kuddos to you all, we are achieving great things together My concern is not with his name, but with the personal text under his name. This can easily be changed, as I have just done by adding "Criptoe Team member" under my avatar picture. I will back off a bit on this discussion. But first I will say this: I don't agree with the request for trading hype. If people want to try to create hyped up trading opportunities, they can do it outside of this thread. Our focus should not, and will not, be creating trading opportunities for non-Icelandic citizens for the sake of making someone money. If trading AUR for BTC profit is what people are in for, they should go buy a trading bot like C.A.T. and leave this thread to constructive discussion. I'm just getting tired of this thread being dominated by talk of market capitalization and trading, for the sake of trading. Let's get back on track and discuss real world use in Iceland, and how the community would like to see AUR get there. -Fuse

I believe that it is important to make sure the wallets are as reasonably nice as can be, even it it incurs additional waiting time.
It feels like AuroraCoin is getting it's second wind, and an awesome looking and functioning wallet would be great to go with that.
Wish I could help, but do not have those skills.
It may be too late to share input, but here is my "Christmas list" of what would be good to see in a wallet:
The ability to change "skins", link to discussion sites, notification bar for example when updates are needed, a comma separating coin amounts, paper wallet capabilities using our own images.
The people of Iceland know what is best though for their coin and hopefully the wallet will focus on their desires foremost.
Thanks for reading.
Thanks for the input, some good points there. Just so people won't be building up some unrealistic expectations, I want to make one thing clear now. There won't be any major changes for the first release wallets so don't expect too much. We are updating the whole code base and doing some cosmetic modifications on the wallets. But after our initial release we will work towards some improvements and features for the wallets so all discussions and feedback from the community is more than welcome.

How are South Africa people taking to AUR? Will they pump the price up over 40k? I doubt it mate, they will just buy up cheap coins that people sell. It's unfortunate but most coins will end up with foreigners like kenchanyu, LTEX and biomike.

Mate you basically own AUR, why not just do it for freaking free and contribute. This will also make the price go up over 30k and your "investment" grows!

We have scanned chain and can promise I don't own most coin, there is 1 or 2 very big holder beside foundation. So PM if you want to pay for compile and will get it done.

Thanks for your offer KenChanYu, but we have things under control. I said it before, we don't need someone to compile OSX wallet for us, we can do this ourselves. We just want to resolve some old issues that you still find with Litecoin wallets as well as our first priority is to setup a base with clean and decent code. I would say our skill level regarding OSX is 75%, which is better than most DEV groups I think. It's the 25% skill we lack that needs assistance. We now have support from a specialist, so I think we're good for now. Again, If we want we can roll out all wallets right now, but we are committed to producing a good foundation first! From there on you can expect faster and more frequent updates!

OSX is no different from what other wallet does when you compile ,litecoin code is not specific for different OS , ,so help me understand what issue is.

2.6? I always outsource mac wallet creation and have never paid above 0.1. I don't think auroracoin is that challenging technically.

No Loss No Gain. Didn't invested. Someone knowledgably person of Crypto told me one sentence. "Don't invest when it's pump phase". Studied little history and I saw last movement of AUR; when it reached moon. Old people (team) left with hefty profits. There isn't much left in AUR to make profit anymore. What makes me think is first when the AUR project was recalled, they said it was for Icelander people, and then plans changed to convince political parties and looking forward for coming elections in Iceland. I don't know.
