I'm not sure if there's anything to it, but I'm sure that it often happens that a withdraw will only give you half the AUR because of wallet troubles or whatever. Also note they introduced a withdrawal fee of 1% recently and introduced ridiculously low withdraw limits ($10 per day or something) for people not willing to give their identities. I suggest you withdraw your AUR in case you bought them on cryptsy just to make sure you really have them safely.

People using the CEX.IO exchange, please withdraw your AUR, as it will be delisted due to GHash.IO multipool suspension!

There have been allegations that Cryptsy was in cahoots with Gaw miners on the manipulation of Paycoin and that they have some federal institutes investigating them. But I haven't seen anything yet to substantiate those claims. This did however spark mass withdrawals from Cryptsy which is enough to make it unstable.

The development of the Icelandic Auroracoin exchange is coming close to completion and anyone with an Icelandic KT (social ID) can go now to http://isx.is and sign up to be a part of the beta test that will start in a few days.

That is great news about the Aurora exchange.
In regard to Cryptsy; I hope they can keep/get their act together. I still have some other coins there that I cannot withdraw and believe it would be a blow to cryptos in general to see them fail. I do like how they keep the coins they have listed, and the volume that transpires there. They changed stuff up pretty quickly and the fee without warning of .005% to withdraw seemed like a "cash grab" to me, that is why I believe many may have left.
edit: .5%, this decimal stuff, combined with percents, can get tricky.

HUGE withdraw fees indeed. Would cost me almost 1k Aur to winthdraw (but i have like 3 ''free withdraw'' ticket. But still one may have to spend many tickets to withdraw (we are locked at 2k$ per day'', i guess it is the price to pay for Cryptsy to be gvnmt compliant ? Anyway, it's scary and can't wait to get all my coins out.
Just talked a bit with hermann and hlynur about the iceland conference today - including hlynur lecture on currency creation/ inflation / crypto etc. Can't wait to watch it ! Good job guys, just too bad i can"'t be a beta tester for the icelandic exchange. Still i saw some picture of it - look pro !
A bit of light in these troubled times is refreshing. Thanks for your work - im avalaible to help if you need a cheerlearder.

It helps if you upgrade to tier-1, you have to provide you address, but guess what, they don't check! So you are now Nomishi Sakamoto, living on Wallstreet 5, New York... ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Hello Soltantgris,
I apologize for any inconvenience this may had caused you. The reason the withdrawal was released in smaller amounts was due to a large build up of inputs from all the transactions in the wallet which become to large to fit into the block chain. This chops the withdrawal to a size where it will fit into the block chain.
I have alerted our wallet specialist who will merge inputs to help larger withdrawals process.
Thank you for your patience as he works on merging inputs

did they charge you the withdrawal fee on the 100% or just the part you actually received?

did they charge you the withdrawal fee on the 100% or just the part you actually received? Exactly, this is what cryptsy is doing. You make a withdrawel, the substract 0,5% fee, but send only halve of the coins, so you paid a 1,0% fee. I made a complaint over 10 times, never got a proper answer or a refund. Further did the substract 20% or so for 2 times when I withdrew DGB, never got any coin back. Just to give you a view how things are being handled at cryptsy.
