AUR is also listed on Cryptopia Exchange.
https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange

Never heard about this exchange. Anyone here know if this exchange can be trusted?

My first impression would be to be cautious with this one... Based on feeling, no facts!

It is legit with lots of users and can be trusted. I've been trading at cryptopia for few months without problem.

I have traded on them for quite a while now also.
I haven't done much in regard to volume, but have never had a problem with them.

Ok, I've gathered some facts now and even opened an account and deposited some AUR to try trading. Looks promising... My first impression was slightly negative due to the large number of alt's and somewhat outdated layout. Now I have looked at the other parts of the site I must say I am more positive! Also did some due diligence on the company behind it, looks good!

It's been added to the OP but with a "not known so trade with care" label.

So no way to get the control back of the official Aurora twitter account ?   If not, i guess it would be a good idea to create a new one, with nice graphic and all, and run it in icelandic/english. Not an easy task to gain followers without ''hype'' but we have to start somewhere.

I've applied to get the Auroracoin symbol added to Font Awesome.

Would be great if you guys could help and +1 on the issue there to put more weight on it. Smiley

I was looking for the "fé" rune and his Unicode symbol "U+16A0". The unicode has a slightly different look, with curvy diagonal lines.

Finally got my AUR back from Cryptsy, but had to withdraw in a lot of 5k chunk, so losing 0.5% each time.  Cryptsy is now in obivous criminal mode - using any trick to drain funds into their direction.

Still it's the fé rune and it's good to have the unicode for it. Good find!
We are well along to create a branding guide for Auroracoin so I'll make sure that we include this there for reference.

I just checked the hash distribution and it turns out this unknown pool has 99% of the hashing power..
Is that not a problem ?
People usually start freeking out when it goes over 51%

where did you check that? I'm guessing "unknown" is not really a pool, it just means the site that does the stats doesn't know who is the miner. It's probably not a single entity.

This means that CryptoID doesn't know from what pools / miners the hashrate comes from. Just states the collective hashrate of all unknown pools / miners together not that 99% is from a single unknown pool.

This can be verified by checking the latest block solvers block by block.  There is a lot of variation in there on what addresses are solving blocks.

If a single entity was solving 99% of the blocks, we would be making a statement about it for sure.

This afternoon my personal pool had about 35% hashrate. Another jumppool also about 35%, rest was divided among 3-4 other pools. I'm building software to monitor this type of data, so that's why I know.

Bittrex contacter.

Now it's a race between Bittrex and Poloniex !

During this time, Cryptsy still running and 30 000 AUR changed hand the last few minutes.  Up to 10 000 satos.

Has been a good week,

Have fun
