To encourage people to withdraw their idle Gambit tokens from Bittrex and put them to work: I have now generated 50 Gambit from just having my tokens sit in a wallet. At the current price of around 12,000 Sat this means about 6 mBTC from less than a week.

I am minting around 0.003-0.007 GAM/day with 50 GAM.

Could back calculate it, but equations and blah. I'm assuming it is a decent amount because the staking reward is supposed to be 5% yearly right?

It is not really a problem, unless the nr of inputs become more than the wallet can handle. I have seen it over 250 inputs already and I know that a wallet can handle over 1000 but not much more - depending on the performance of the processor on which it is running...
My Wallet is now up to 440 inputs from splitting the balance in ever smaller chunks, down to 7 GAM, and re-combination is not keeping up. I estimate that if it were only my wallet that was staking 1 input every minute, then it could supply *all* blocks for more than 7 hours straight but in that time, the other 1/3 of my balance that has staked in the past hours will become mature also, adding another 3 hours of block supply - by which time the earlier staked blocks are again mature, so my wallet could easily generate all blocks continuously for the entire network, even if re-combination would keep up with splitting and no more inputs were generated, but I still see the number generally go up, so I think that re-combination algorithm is not entirely working as it should. I hope it stabilizes before the number of inputs become excessively large

Why is it so quiet in here? Any place where all Gambit pro traders are planning the future of Gambit? Any slack or IRC?

I guess everyone is awaiting the start of the actual trading and the resulting burn of Gambit, which will drive up the price...

Is it a good entry point now? Thanks. You know what they say: there is no bell at the bottom, so expect that it can always go lower but get in at some point of you are left out. Trading is now already below ICO price so I should have waited a little with my buying more, but I still have more orders on the book, I spread it out since I did not know how low it would go. Once the burning begins, price will go up but until then you can pick them up cheap. No guarantees though - it all depends on how well Collin manages this thing and the performance of the traders, but I like his process, even though it is not as fast as some here might have wanted - no "quick bucks the day after ICO" except from some speculation so go in for the long haul, it may take months but with a constant burn rate, the remaining coins will get more valuable all the time. I only hope that Collin will make it a point to regularly (weekly at least) post an update, so we have some continuity and can follow how it is progressing.

I got into the ICO but sold out at 45% profit right after I see this taking time but its a good buy under the ICO price that's for sure especially if it goes down toward $7.5~k Edit: To dev - could do perhaps with some small giveaways or promotions from time to time to draw new people in besides the trader stuff if that isn't already in the plans

quick update on my wallet performance: it has staked a reward of 100 GAM now and the number of inputs appear to be hovering around 400 as sometimes the re-combination becomes active and collects up to 20-ish small inputs to create a single 1000+ GAM input and at other times the number of inputs is drifting up again from all the split inputs. I did see one time that all small inputs up to 15 GAM were gone, apparently all recombined. Later there were again several 7 GAM inputs from split blocks of about 15 GAM.

Below ICO, yikes. Most likely the dev dumping some of his FREE coins. Red flag if you ask me. I'm not gonna get involved.

It doesn't mean nothing going under ICO price. It's not a red flag
