Well, it doesn't really matter since price of bitcoin is measured in fiat currency, which is worth personally to me, nothing at all.
I would rather measure my wealth in terms of bitcoins, than to measure my wealth in terms of fiat currencies. That's why I don't really particularly care about the price, although it's always good to have a price increase, since it boosts understanding about the currency to more people.
I also like the idea of measuring 1BTC as being 1BTC instead of 1BTC as being $580 as it is right now. But the fact is that probably not even 1% of the people here look at Bitcoin like that, which I can't blame them for. Bitcoin isn't backed by anything where you can say the standards are BTC/GOLD, BTC/OIL, BTC/AAPL, BTC/BAC, etc. Bitcoin will most likely always be tied to fiat. |

What for a question is this what will the coin be if he does not even has a price? Yes nothing so off course the bitcoin price matters without a price you cant do anything with the coin. people want money not a worthless coin without a price.

of course price does matter, most cryptocurrency oriented people use it in purpose because of its price, check other coins, only few are using those coins, me i only use bitcoin because of its price, i disregard other coins , unless the coin has a future someday too.

If I answer you no then I'll be lying. Even though my hope is for us to see 1 btc equivalent to 1 btc some day with the price of fiat mean nothing to us, the current movement of the price still gives us the indication in how well accepted btc is and its demand. I do agree with your reasoning but until the I will still closely follow the btc price movement.
The Bitcoin price is too important because that will decide if people will make use of it. There are some many people that make use of Bitcoin because of the fact that you can use it as an investment. |

o0ff course the price of a bitcoin does matter what is this for kind of a question. There is always a other price fore the bitcoin so you cant buy something that is 600 because the coin is now 580 you see.

on me its matter, because im not rich every cent of dollar have big value on me, thats why i have an investment and engage in trading sites in yobit to earn more bitcoin
True. We do that to earn some, even if it is low income we are doing it on a good part. And sometimes we get unlucky but still get back what we invested for. I do trade to and I buy some coins that got a few potential. Yeah, we are trying hard to earn more bitcoin even we fail sometimes. We are trying too hard because bitcoin price is keeping it way to high price The price of Bitcoin is really important and that is because the price make the decision how much profit you can make with it and that is really nice. But it will be really hard to know what you can earn with it and it can also takes a long time until it will reach a high value. |

we all want to gain from btc and for some is like retirement or investment found the more the rise goes the more cash you have simple as that
off course there is always possibility for price to drop but from look of thing this will not gonna happen maybe it will go stable at 500 after everything sort out

You should be ashame pf yourself that you think of nothing instead of only getting profit. Believe in bitcoin and even if you dont then atleast have some faith on it, bitcoin is more than a tool for you to get your lunchmoney, go and get your own job for that Some people are only here to earn some extra bits while they don't care about the technology aspect of Bitcoin. It's ok. Maybe that he will get interested in the technology aspect of Bitcoin at a later stage. Give it some time. |

I think its a yes.One of the reason why bitcois is still alive for years now is because of its price,because we all know that bitcoins price just started with a candy price of $0.1 per bitcoin and now its developed and price is even higher than a brand new computer set up.Bitcoins price increasing from time to time is one of the reason why bitcoins user is continue on rising because of its price

Yep that's the reality of the importance of price. And it really matters for bitcoin, and even not in bitcoin price really matters like in smart phones, an example only, if smartphone doesn't have value for sure no one will buy it and the higher the price is the bigger value for people. And so bitcoin is also like that. |

Yeah price matters primarily to investors, the users who buy Bitcoin to buy other things with it will have no issue with the price, as long as they aren't holding anything when the price changes. Everyone views the value of Bitcoin as the primary factor of its popularity, and they're not wrong. The price is really what drives a lot of investors to keep using it with mass adoption. |
