Or maybe you got hacked like me and many others.
It appears when u mine on a server and your wallet is unlocked and ports are forwardedit is easy for someone to steal your coins.
I got 90 SIA stolen from my wallet which is nothing I transferred them from polo and just left them there and 2 hours ago "I" initiated a -90 transaction, sadly the explorer isn't working so I cant show you. Sad

I don't have any outgoing transactions so I doubt that is the case. One mined block just disappeared without trace.
You may have mined an orphan : I had two block mined according gominer which didn't appeared on the liste of transaction on the wallet : either orphan, either a bug on the miner (my gpu was undervolted maybe too much), either  a bug on the wallet

Nope that is why I specificaly sad, I send the coins from POLOniex a few days ago as a test, than mined online with that same wallet, and someone initiated a transaction and stole my 90 SIA Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
The attacker doesnt seem to be able to steal coins if you mine localy...  Roll Eyes

P.S. If the hacker is reading this - I hope you give those 90SIA for medicine for your dying children someday!!! Wink

Yes, there is very likely a compromised custom miner version of siaminer.exe that was put out there. It shows a 10% increase in hashrate (likely false since it contains the same opencl as gominer).

Everyone should be using only the official release of the miner or a version that is directly from someone you trust within the community. Also if they gained access to your API port you will want to place your coins in a wallet with a new seed.

Lesson here is not to use strange binaries in the hopes of gaining an edge. Not sure if this applies to what I am reading in the last few posts.

Edit: Also, directly from the developer: "You should never expose your API port over the open internet. At best, it should be localhost only. Otherwise you should be using some form of tunneling to secure the port"

Sia Coin (SC) added to votelist cryptopia.  More reach the better folks!  HELP VOTE

https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Vote

coin vote round ends in 4 days and current top Dot coin vote is at 2200 Dots = 127,600 sat

end of coin vote round should be easy win for (SC)

Good news!  Someone put Sia Coin on the top of vote list Cryptopia.  In a couple days Sia Coin will be exposed to Australia and New Zealand.  More decentralization and distribution!  make sure you help invite others to join the network and sell SiaCoin at Cryptopia!

Hello,

really great and safe storage coin!
short question:

the Sia website states "Depending on the card, each video card can expect to mine between 2 and 10 blocks per month, with very high variance."
Is it possible to solo mine siacoin? How (any link/guide)?

Can someone tell (like in the case of bitcoin) how much the reward is for mining one block? And how is the reward algorithm evolving (halving like in btc?)?

Many many thanks guys!

Block reward = 300,000 - block height, so ~240,000 SiaCoin per block now. It plateaues at 30,000 I believe.

This withdrawal of coins? Wallet 0.5.2, just wondering the correct colored heart in front of the transaction below. The time of confirmation and acceptance on the wallet 24 hours?
