Since Bittrex is not allowing new registration, what is the next best exchange to buy sia? I'm not sure about HitBTC and Poloniex?

I have a question. Does SIA allow staking? I have a good chunk which I would like to bring to some use.

Please advise.

Since Bittrex is not allowing new registration, what is the next best exchange to buy sia? I'm not sure about HitBTC and Poloniex?

I suggest Poloniex. They have decent volume and is very secure.

But many peoples use only Binance or Bitfinex Exchanges then they interested in Sia Coin but SC not listed that exchanges. my question to dev team of Sia when other biggest exchanges will be listed SiaCoin for Sia greate future now and after both?

im interested!
i read that they sell their own mining equipment so why not indeed expand into the server trade also.
this would compliment the mining equipment and obviously the idea behind this crypto which is  STORAGE!

Just went in heavy on SiaCoin

I believe in SC, studied it, read about it, looks bright future, I can easily see this going upwards to (USD) 10+ cents.

2018 is going to be an amazing year for SC, I think 10 cents is a very low number, even for the short term.

Be very careful when withdrawing SC from poloniex. I tried to move coins to other address and got Complete: Error with no TxId. After reading forums I realised that this is a common occurrence. Now I am stuck with Poloniex support ticket which can take months... Call me "Forced hodler Cheesy Cheesy". If someone from poloniex reads this: my ticket is #675695

I hope I will get my coins back some day...

Is there SIA staking?

No.

Since SC is Proof of Stake, would I be staking if I leave my SC coins on my bittrex wallet?

If so, what is the stake recompense lets say you were holding 1 million SC? and for how long would I have to hold it for it to "mature"

Where have you read Siacoin is PoS? It is not, Sia is mined by Proof of Work (blake2b algorithm). So no reward for staking. If you need more info: https://siawiki.tech/about/pow_vs_pos

hi freinds some one help me to understand what meens the proof of burn in the eaod map of sia.
it can decrease the circulated supply or what

After a future update, hosts will have to burn a small fraction of their profits to demonstrate they are legit hosts (and so avoiding Sybil attacks). By burning them they are sent to a void address and so they can't be used again, reducing the circulating supply. With the current network size, the amount of burnt coins will be very small, but if the network of hosts becomes huge, the amount of coins burnt will be bigger than the the mining block reward (it will reach the minimal 30.000 coins of reward per block in 2020). If this happens the coin could become deflationary.

polo has a lot of issues withdrawing SC, maybe also caused by SC wallet. I used to have this issue but thankfully SC rise much higher than I expected. If not "forced hold" I would have sold it at much high price, lol...
